Forgot to take pictures. Ok to not spend too much on Old Quebec visit. Be aware: Strictly stairs, old and steep. Parking Not included. Hot water very difficult to manage. Great, comfortable bed and sofa bed, very clean sheets and towels. Good AC. Good noise canceling double windows. Very noisy street. We enjoyed our stay.

A clean and convenient place to sleep. The rooms are small and simple but clean. It is one of the most central places you can stay with everything to see nearby. They provide accommodations for late and early check-ins. The walls were very thin but that wasn’t much of a problem because it was quiet despite being sold out.

No frills here, room clean but shared bathroom I cleaned myself. Great location in the heart of the city, friendly staff. Parking was $36 for our 2 night stay & not included.

Awesome location to stay if you are visiting Quebec City. It is in the centre of everything that you will be going to. My sister and I stayed in the room with the washroom attached for 3 nights for only 89$ + tax per night. Small room with a tiny washroom but it was perfect size for both of us. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Quebec City.

It is an old and dated hostel style hotel. Rooms are small and quaint. Clean. Must be willing to climb lost of narrow stairs. Exactly what I expected for the amazing price. Close to everything Old Quebec City has to offer. Will definitely stay here again.

This place was unique and special and just what I needed. You get what you pay for. A nice clean comfortable room with good air quality +++. I didn’t wake up stuffy. Bed was fine. Water pressure is a miss but I think that’s just old Quebec. For a visit of excursions not luxury you will love it here.

Very effective aircon, great location. Mould in bathroom and bedsheets too small for the bed and kept coming loose. When I asked for help to remake the bed they refused Stains on comforter and chair

It’s a good hotel to stay in if you’re just looking for the place to sleep at nights and spend days exploring the city. Excellent location, excellent cleanliness, good price. Probably, the biggest problem was Wi-Fi, it was very weak and we were constantly loosing connection and had to use cellular data instead. People at the reception were very nice and welcoming. Overall, good value for its price!

My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience with Auburge Saint-Louis! The location was absolutely incredible — everything is within walking distance. The rooms were perfectly sized and I felt safe at night because it’s owned by a family and not a big hotel conglomerate. If I ever come back, I will most certainly stay at this place again. Super affordable and amazing service!

Great low-key hotel, with a hostel vibe. Shared bathrooms. Amazing location.

Positive first 1.very good location. 2. Very near to mostly all the attractions in old Quebec city. 3.near to many mostly all good restaurants on the famous street. 4. At the reception area there is a fridge, microwave, box of sugar, creamy powder, and coffee. 5.heating system is good, heats up the room well. 6. The guy at the reception is quick to help. 7. Room has towels and shampoo conditioner sachets. Negative points 1. Its not a hotel but a lodge. 2. No elevator but plenty of stairs. 3. Every thing is very very old. 4. Although the reception area has coffee machine but no dishes or cups. 5. The sofa bed was uncomfy. 6.the lock at the door was very stubborn took a while to lock and unlock. 7. Ok for one night stay over not for more days. 8. Better to take first floor rooms if carrying the luggage. 9 dont keep any hopes with it. It is jus a cheap option for sleeping and bathing.

Stayed in December 2021, and just booked again for this year. If you set realistic expectations, this place is a gem. Very close to the Christmas market and the Château Frontenac, as well as lots of good food. The hotel is old, and so is everything about it. The rooms are on the smaller side, the stairs are narrow and a bit steep, the bathrooms are frozen in time. The staff is friendly, the street-side view is great, and the beds are clean and comfortable. Remember where you are and what you are paying. Would gladly recommend this place.

Great for what it is. The building is old and has the elder Quebec feel to it. Bathrooms are shared between rooms, but it's kind of ridiculously charming and the staff are super nice.

It was a decent experience, definitely a great price for the location. The room was small but clean. One thing that bothered us was that despite indicating that we would arrive between 9 and 10pm when we reserved (when making the reservation, it said that their reception closed at 10), on the day of our arrival they emailed and called us in the early evening to ask when we would arrive because they wanted to leave ASAP for the night as they normally close at 8(?). They made us feel like we were doing them a great bother by arriving late, but we had no choice. It started our stay on a bad foot but the rest of the time was very fine and we would probably go back.

Great location and they have parking really close by which is convenient. The rooms are clean but the hallways and bathrooms feel a little murky. The bathrooms are shared for an entire hallway (mustve been over 6 double-bed rooms). Didnt have breakfast because we left early in the morning.

Look, it’s a solid 3. The rooms are very clean, though run down, especially in common areas. NOT for mobility impaired! Stairs, stairs, stairs. Location is definitely a huge plus. Parking pass (extra) is worthwhile. WiFi was terrible. And their policy to charge extra for children sharing existing bedding is just plain ridiculous.

My wife, 19 year old daughter and I booked room 10. Receptionist was kind and helpful. Rom with a king size bed and foldable couch was used as planned; to sleep, take showers and resting. No issues of any kind. We unknowingly drove into a parking lot just across the street of the hotel, price for 24 hours was $22 to be paid once we drive out. When we checked in, we asked the receptionist, and she sold us parking tickets for that place and we would pay $18 per day. Hotel is located close to all attractions in Old Quebec, no need to drive around if you’re staying inside the walled city.

The room is very clean and warm in the winter, and the staffs are helpful and can communicate with English clearly. With relatively low price in old town, yeah definitely it has drawbacks, such as stairs are not really friendly for whom carries heavy luggage or for elders whom is not convenient to climb, the public WiFi is a little inconsistent, and you mostly have to share bathroom with others. But when most of the time you are traveling outdoor, I really think these are not big issues because the surroundings are so wonderful! Quebec City is such a charming place where you should spend time discovering by foot. I fully recommend the hotel if you are a budget-traveler.

Of you want a place to just sleep or location it's for you. If you esthetics and comfort and romance NOPE. Its clean but needs so much upgrades and just touching up.
