A nice place to be as a temporary HOME away from home. Staff is efficient, polite and helpful. The location is ideal, near to Number of local attractions. Gas pump is near by. Quebec aquarium is a short walk away. The parking is abundant and easy. The breakfast is a pleasure, aplenty and good to keep you happy & full for five hours!! Rooms are spacious, well kept and beds are comfy and one the best I have ever slept😀. Gym is small but well equipped and pool is nice and cool( hot water). Overall, I and if you stay here once, SURELY will come back. Note for owner: Please add one more chair to room to make it twosome😊😊

Wonderful hotel to stay for your vacation trip. Little bit far from Quebec City but prices are reasonable. Doesn't have a wonderful view from the suite but service is really good. Clean rooms and morning breakfast is also delicious.

Our recent stay was filled with bizarre events, from beginning to end. The day before our arrival, we received an email to check-in - new concept perhaps, but we didn't bother with this service because we would still have to check in at reception to get keys anyway. The credit card was then charged for the full amount while we were still enrolled and hadn't even checked in yet. A quick call to the hotel, and this was explained. On our first night, we're were woken up by a phone call at 11PM from reception asking us if we were in our room, and told us not to worry because everything was OK. We asked for clarification, but they could not explain the reason for the call at that hour. At 8:30 the next morning, housekeeping came into the room, despite us having a sign on the door that we did not need to clean that day. I've never had housekeeping come into a room that early in the morning. We explained to her that we did not need any service that day. The following day, our room did not get cleaned at all, despite not having a sign on the door at all, and we asked twice to have the room cleaned. We went to reception to get towels and face clothes to last the rest of our stay. The hotel was easy to find, and check-in was fast and easy, and our room was ready when we arrived. It's pretty easy to find and just a few seconds off the highway. Normally the breakfast is fantastic at Holiday Inn express,. But this time the options were exactly the same every single day. The only thing that changed was 3 days we had scrambled eggs and one day we had a cheese omelet. Other than that, we had the same fruit choices, sausages for the meat option, and the same pastries. The food was good, and there are options, just no variety.

We were at another hotel and it was beyond horrible. We searched around and called this holiday inn. We were greeted at 8pm at night with respect and kindness from the lovely lady on the phone. It was last second but she was able to book us in to 2 rooms and she did an amazing job getting the rooms close to each other. We drove down and arrived and we’re greeted by a smiling respectful lady. She was extremely cheerful and helpful with getting the keys and the room set up. She explained everything in details and sent us on our way. We parked our vehicle and headed up through this spotless, clean hotel. We entered our room and were greeted with all amenities you need from a coffee machine to clean bedding, clean spotless room, comfortable beds, towels, beautiful smelling room and so much more. It blew us away how amazing the holiday inn was. We are heading home from a long trip and forgot our tooth paste. We called Down and we’re given tooth paste free of charge. The receptionist was the only one on and even offered to bring it to our room for us. The service is amazing. The hot tub was amazing. The breakfast was amazing. The receptionist was amazing. Everything was amazing. Thank you for the service and making our last minute trip change a success. We will stay here any time we pass through Quebec City. Thank you holiday inn and to the amazing receptionist/front worker that was working Sunday June 26th 2022 at 8pm - you made our stay amazing. You should be recognized for your amazing customer service and smile

Hi folks, Let me tell you about this Hôtel and the neighborhood since i live just around the corner. It's five minutes from the airport located right at the entrance of Québec City. You can take a walk at any time of the day or night without any problems. Very secure place. And yes, lots of Quebec folks speak English. You are welcome to try speaking French too!!! Might just be fun. There are many restaurants within a few blocks. Like probably 20 or so. The hotel is very clean and well staffed. You will enjoy your stay! And you are about 15 minutes from the old city of Quebec with TONS of restaurants and things to see... Chris recommended

Decent location, rooms were clean but nothing special, the breakfast was nice but not enough seating for a busy morning. EV charging available for a fee. Service was decent but some things you need to go and do in front desk (like get extra towels or toiletries)

Excellent customer service, clean comfy generous and very good service ( Receptionists and Breakfast staff are amazing). It’s 3 stars but the hospitality is better than some 5 stars hotels. It’s my first time write a review. Sure I will recommend for who will visit Quebec City. In addition, easy access to old city.

Room: Advertised as queen bed but only marginally larger than a double. I sleep on a queen every day, so I know. No place to open a big suitcase except on the bed, not even a 2-seater sofa, which is below the standard of other HIEs. Service: Fresh towel had hair in it. Floor not vacuumed once during our 4-night stay. The hair from the towel that I shook down on the floor on the first day stayed there until I left, as did a bead that rolled from my slippers. Tea bags not replenished. Advertised as "full breakfast" when the correct text should have been "full breakfast for carnivores". Location: Not close to anything except the aquarium and a shopping mall, which aren't people's first choice of sightseeing after an 800 km drive. That explanation helpful enough for you Mr Lamarre? Feel free to spew out your canned responses about how standard your rooms are, how your room service is first class and why didn't I complain while I was there instead of complaining afterwards, how you have dry bread and cold yogurt for non-carnivores and all the other text written in the script given to you by the "management". I had refrained from putting the ugly details on Google and wanted to put them in the hotel feedback, but you forced my hand here.

A great stay, 100%. Staff were incredibly helpful and were able to answer our questions about the area in great detail (we had supper based on their recommendations, and it did not disappoint). Prices are normally very fair for a Holiday Inn Express, however we did pay more due to the Canada Day long weekend (which is to be expected). Clean, quiet rooms, ample parking, and plenty to do around the hotel made for a great stay.

Very nice hotel that was reasonably priced in the Quebec area. Rooms were modern and functional and included breakfast is nice, although the food was nothing to write home about. One of the struggles of staying there was construction in the area, as if the roads in this area aren’t confusing enough. Not the hotel’s fault at all but it made it difficult to get around. Also there weren’t a lot of dinner options nearby but if you wanted to go to the aquarium (which was a very cool experience) it’s very very close.

The hotel was very nice, and seemed clean; however, we needed the pullout couch (we had a suite) for our daughter. To our dissatisfaction, the pullout had dirty linens with hair visible. Gross. We called the front desk and they told us they would drop off new linens but that no housekeeping was around to change the bed, so I’d have to do it myself …. Disgusting. When the front desk staff came to drop off she sheets, I had to make it very awkward and say, “could you please take the dirty sheets off, because I’m not going to”. The staff member did in the end, but I should not have had to ask. In my opinion, the hotel should be prepared to cover housekeeping duties when needed.

Very Neat and clean Holiday Inn. Looked like a newly renovated. Great customer service. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pets friendly. Amazing AYCE breakfast from 6:30am to 9:30am. Kids loved the outdoor hot tub which opens 9am to 10pm. 15 mins drive Old Quebec City and to all attractions, restaurants. Our family spent a great time of vacation. Highly recommend!

Stayed here for a night and we had a great and comfortable stay. The location is definitely not walkable to any of the major attractions of the city but the hotel is newly renovated and the staff members were extremely welcoming, efficient and helpful. AC worked really well and made for a very comfortable sleep. Breakfast was the usual Holiday Inn Express fare but it was great and the service was exceptional, especially the strict COVID protocol imposed by the management. Kudos to the team! The price was a little high but it’s very competitive for similar properties in the area. Acknowledgment of IHG membership was great too! Highly recommended if you do not care about the location. Mind you, all tourist attractions are within minutes drive away.

The room is clean and spacious, looks newly renovated. The staff are nice and polite. The breakfast is delicious too. HOWEVER, it's probably the most noisy hotel room I've been to. My room is right next to the elevator and I can hear the elevator doors open and close every 10min. Also, my room is right beside the highway and it feels like I'm living next to a F1 racetrack even after 11pm... On top of that, I can hear the guy next door coughing his lungs out... I was here for a work trip alone, so I do hear everything especially when I'm trying to work. I'm sure you won't hear that much noise if you came for vacation with your family or if you lived in a different room that's not facing the highway and 3 steps away from the elevator! I ended up getting earplugs which solved the problem, but I wish I didn't have to. Overall a great hotel!

We stayed here for a week while my husband did a training. Had our toddler with us. Stayed in a 1 bedroom suite with the bigger floor plan - well worth the space! The couch was broken by a previous user so the cushions would slide off all the time and my kid fell a few times... The daily hot breakfast was great - lots of choice but it is the same every day. Nice little convenience area at the entrance. Front desk very helpful. Nice lobby. Pool is not a pool - it's a hot tub. Didn't use it unfortunately .. Lots of parking but it filled up quick. Location is 5min walk to the aquarium but at least triple for the way back because it's a huge hill. All the walks are about 20-25min to get anywhere. But there are a couple restaurants close by. Otherwise we Ubered to the hotel which was great. Great central location!! Would stay again

I stayed here for 3 nights with my family and it was amazing. The beds and all the services were comfortable. The hot tub was a treat as well and my family enjoyed it a lot too. The breakfast was amazing too. They had everything that they had advertised on their website in their rooms (tv, microwave, fridge, etc.). My hotel room had a lot of features and I was very impressed with it. If I ever come back to Quebec City, I will definitely stay here!

Breakfast was great! Hot food. Eggs, sausage, or bacon or omelets other days, variety of breads/bagels as well as muffins, yogurts, fruit, etc. Staff are very friendly and speak English and French. Washrooms were clean and decent too. Very comfortable and excellent value with the breakfast. Stayed July2021. Internet speeds were decent. Beds comfortable. Lots of outdoor parking included with stay, so no additional crazy parking fee like those closer to the attractions. Great location, near highway ramps and major streets to the Old Town or anywhere else.

This is a very chic hotel. Recently renovated, has all new amenities. Due to Covid restrictions, breakfast is being served rather than self serve.
