    Dont be fooled by the pictures you see on the websites. Not the same pictures at all. Rooms are not clean at all. We had a mouse messing around in a bag we had left on the counter while we slept. Spider webs along side of walls along the floor. We left 1 day sooner than planned as my health was taking a hit due to the smell in the rooms. I can go on and on....

    I called to book a room and experienced frustrating and poor customer service. This review is related to the Hotel-Motel Le Régent mismanaging reservations and payments. I would not give this company your credit card number. During our phone call, they did not ask for my name or contact info and only wanted our credit card number. Regardless, I provided our name because I wanted to make sure there was a way they could identify us upon arrival for our reservation. They took our information and hung up. I was not provided with a confirmation number or any way to prove we had a reservation. I phoned a second time to inquire about the status of the reservation - specifically to ask about their cancellation policy as I was not offered any of this info over the phone and could not find it on their website. The person on the phone could not find our reservation, said he would call me back, and hung up. He did not call back and did not answer my phone calls afterwards. We experienced a fraudulent credit card charge that we believe is related to providing this business with our information.

    We knew this was a 2 star motel when we booked but that was an overstatement. The room was clean BUT- the toilet had an elongated bowl with a regular toilet seat on it for starters. No cups in the room, we had to go and ask for them.No extra towels, again I had to request them. Worst of all the sink was running very slowly. I informed the desk of this issue before going out for the day. When we returned it was worse than ever! The parking lot was rough and had potholes. My recommendation....STAY AWAY!!!

    Absolutely terrible. I agree with all the other reviews. Avoid like the plauge (unless you are really desperate) Hint: ther absolutely won't even allow you to see a room, unless you have already paid in full (non refundable of course). The Asian owner doesn't care - is just out to fleece you. Better off camping in a nearby park, or paying a little more for anywhere else.

    After hours service was good to receive me at 2am. A long ways from the city when arriving from Montreal. It took almost an hour to drive around to get to it. The neighborhood was sketchy and noisy with people loitering around the property all night long.

    If I could give this place a -5, I would! After driving 20+ hours, the owner lied and stated Expedia had canceled our reservation that was booked a month prior to our arrival. Followed by him laughing at our face because we were not stuck without a place to go during the long weekend. All this so he could charge us triple what we originally booked the rooms for, I assume. Avoid this place! It is not worth the extra dollars that you save. The outside looked completely worn down and not maintained at all. Based on the other reviews of inadequate staff and professionalism, this place is not run appropriately.

    They are thief ., i book one room and when i reach there there is no body and i spend more than expected money. They dont care of customer , they just want money Really bad bad motel no body go there

    The Room was clean; the bed sheet white and clean, all amenities were there and quiet non smoking room. Obviously renovated.Great value for the price. In a nutshell, old, renovated, clean and tidy. Good value for the price.

    There are many better options out there, avoid if you can especially if you have traveled with family! It seemed that the front office manager did not care if you booked or not. They did not even have the electronic key working and were “working” on fixing or programming it and I was informed of it only after they promptly received payment from me. The whole aura and kind of clientele I saw felt kind of “uncomfortable” for us and I didn’t mind losing my money after going there and booked another (better/safer) one and left! I booked via Expedia and when I contacted customer support, even their agent when he tried to speak to the hotel manager, mentioned that the person he spoke with was very rude with him!! You get the picture!!!

    Worst place to stay, Worst experienced i ever had, I booked 3 rooms with double beds when I get there the Chinese guy told me I just booked 1 room with double bed and the 2 others rooms was just one bed. I told him no I booked 3 rooms with double beds he said no. He was sooo rude and the Chinese guy just want to take money . I will give him a BIG ZEROOOOOO plz guys dont go there .

    I had stayed at this hotel in early September for one night. The following morning I had to leave due to an emergency back in Montreal and accidentally left a small bag of valuable electronic items and important medications. After several phone calls and unreturned emails I have had zero replies or communication with the manager on how to go about my paying for a courier to collect my items and return them. I find this unacceptable and very unprofessional as I also come from the hospitality industry. This scents of thievery.

    If I could leave a negative star review I would. Filthy property, entryway completely covered in spiders and webs and dust like it hadn't been cleaned in months. I paid top dollar for a room with a jet bathtub in it. Even after letting the water run for 15+ minutes it was still brown and gross. I didn't even use tap water to brush my teeth. Thankfully I had plenty of bottled water to clean up with. The wifi never worked and it was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. And you couldn't turn the fan off. I was freezing all night. I've contacted the company for a refund but I'm not holding my breath. I would have been better off staying at a hostile for $30 rather then the almost $200 I spent on this dump.

    A scam. One star is too much! The boss asked for a $100 deposit and wanted to keep part of the deposit for me under the pretext that a towel was missing the next morning. I asked to call the police because I hadn't taken the towel and it was on the bed. It's a scam that I didn't think I would have to go through so I had to fight to avoid having to pay 15 dollars for a towel. I think this is a way to make customers in a hurry pay more.

    Don’t go for the ratings, we stayed yesterday and it was perfect for the price, clean and with ample towels and tissues. The breakfast is value for money at 10$

    Worst place to stay, the owner/manager is a thief, they will take some amount as deposit, in my case they took 100$ and then accused me of stealing towels when I checked out, and charged me 40$ . That’s how they cheat you by taking an advance deposit. Beware of them.

    Please please definitely don't go to this motel scammer I went to the motel at noon and asked me for both the room money and the deposit, he said they would give it back when I gave the key, but when I left in the evening, a Chinese man came to the room and they did not return my $100 deposit on the excuse that there was water on the floor and they took it from me. scammers will go and really chinese staff behaved very angry. Very bad experience for me. I don't recommend to to this hotel. The boss Chinese guy is very rude and very bad guy .

    Very very bad experience at this place. We stayed here for a weekend, while the owner tried to blame us for smoking in the rooms. HE IS TRYING TO SCAM PEOPLE, WATCH OUT! Never going here again, reading thru the other reviews just proves my point!

    This is my second time here. I try to give them a chance but i do not recomend this place. Dirty,bad service,bad internet, you need a car if your hungry no restaurant walking distance. This picture do not show the real place how bad it is. While i wss there i saw many customer walk in and turn around because of the service.

    The first time I went there, I found used medical syringes in the drawers. Brought them up to the front desk and they couldn’t care less. Second stay, hand traces all over the mirrors, hair in bed, NOTHING is clean. Expedia marks them as pet friendly THEY ARE NOT, they never gave me a registration form with the rules when I got there. They told me the day of checkout and decided they would keep my deposit!!!

    Quick friendly service, room was clean and comfortable. Price was amazing for what we got(Junior suite). Very happy with the stay will be returning if we ever go back to Quebec. :D

    If I could give -100 rating for this I will do it. The worst customer service I ever received. VERY RUDE STAFF. I had to ask to change the beddings because we saw hairs in between the linens which clearly indicates that it was not changed. The girl on the front desk did not even bother to apologize, she didn't answer me and just frowned and turned to the man who accompanied me to the room to verify if in fact there were hairs and sure enough they're there. It was so gross. He only changed the bottom linen and not the top. We even tried to ask if he can change it and the pillow case because we're not sure if they were changed but he was mad. He was so upset and his voice was high when we were talking to him politely and calmly. We were really shocked. Very unprofessional. They don't care what their customers will say because I think they're so used to getting bad reviews. STAY AWAY from this place!

    There IS hi speed internet in the room! Free parking right next to your room! VERY CLEAN and orderly. Some cracks in the tiles & sheetrock but hey it's not 5 star! Water is clean & clear and very hi pressure! There is heating in the room which u can control and it's cozy warm inside while cold outside. The shower curtain is clean and not slimy with mildew! However, u can hear a bit of next door & upstairs. Some lights don't work. The owner was helpful. This place is very good for budget travelers & don't listen to the negative reviews. Very close to old Quebec city where parking can be had for $18 all day..

    Please don't come to this robbery. We stayed to sleep one night and could not enter the room all night because the card never worked and there was no one from the staff at the reception. We had to sleep in the car because we had all our things in the room. The next day the staff arrived at 8 in the morning and we asked for a refund of the deposit and they didn't want to return it to us. We had to call the police. When we arrived at the place they took care of us in English and when it is And when we were making the claim, the staff was xenophobic and racist. Of all the places in the world where I have been, this is the WORST !!! The city should close this place and I think that a complaint should be made to the competent authorities.

    Our night in Quebec City went sour because the place we stayed was just plain gross. The room was dirty and gave off a yucky vibe. Sadly, when we got home, we found bedbugs in our stuff, probably from that icky room. I really hope I never have to go through that again.
