This hotel is right in the middle of Vieux Quebec and has so much character! In addition to a great location, if made us feel as though our room was part of the HISTORY of Quebec, not just some big-name hotel room. Very clean! The decor in the stairways needs work but the owner is in the process of redoing it. Our room was really a part of Quebecois history... it had the original stone wall exposed on one side and the original fireplace! The owner and staff were very kind and accommodating. The room didn't have a mini fridge but we could keep food in the staff fridge on the main floor. This isn't a main stream hotel - it is a piece of history, a family-owned, super small, Quebec experience! The 'lobby' has the ancient wall (dating back to the 1700's) exposed at one side, and is a charming place to sit and eat. Despite the ancient atmosphere and old structure, the owner keeps the rooms very clean. It was safe, quiet, charming and a real experience! I'm very glad I chose to stay here! I would like to return!

This little hotel really exceeded my expectations. From the initial friendly greeting from the young man at front desk who personally showed us to our room, to the room itself. You walk down the most charming alley that is full of flowers and inviting outdoor seating. Our room was on the upper level that was very clean and charming. I loved that there was a vanity in the bathroom for myself. I would definitely come back and recommend.

Affordable way to stay and experience Old Quebec City. The garden is beautiful and parking is available down the road. Rooms are not fancy but the staff is superb and the hotel is incredibly clean.

Friendly host, cute and clean room and washrooms, parking inside or streetside walking distance to all tourist spots and happening streets, many grocery stores & restaurants nearby, what else you want😇

I loved this place so much. The staff and the vibes of this place is what made me want to stay an extra night. If you want to feel like you're living in Europe , this is the place to go. Francis, Isabel and her mother, and owner were exceptionally kind and welcoming.They were very friendly and allowed us to check out the rooms before booking. Huge plus for me! our first room was small, but I loved it. It was SO CUTE, and the washroom was closeby and very clean. Everything was very clean which was important to me. Our 2nd room the 2nd night was bigger and even had a door leading out to the balcony! such a cool surprise.i wouldnt change anything about this place. Now I'm missing it and wish I could visit again soon. Thank you to the staff at Hotel Maison Ste Ursule :)

This is not a 1 Star hotel. I stayed in 2, 3 and 4 star hotels along my East coast roadtrip and this one is definitely closer to a 4 than a 1! Super friendly host. I cannot recall his name but he was happy to help me with parking my motorcycle somewhere safe. Had some good suggestions on where to eat, and what to see. Check out wasn't rushed, and I was allowed to keep a few things in the office in order to have a nice relaxing walk around town before hitting the road again

What a wonderful stay with son and daughter in law and their two girls. It is sited right in the middle of the city. The rooms were spotless and sitting in the garden enjoying breakfast and Cocktail hour was so fun. Hard to believe that we were right in the center of a bussling city. The staff was so efficient and helpful. Would highly recommend and will stay there when we return.

Great spot if your stopping in for an over night. Bed not the best but the room is very pleasant and clean. No microwave or coffee maker bit of a bummer. Location if fantastic.

Very cute n cozy place to stay. I love our room as it has a rustic attic feel, has a small sink inside, plus a little balcony. Receptionist was very helpful in recommending places to eat since the room didn't come with any breakfast. The location was very near places to eat and walkable to other attractions. Just a heads up though, the hotel is uphill so better travel light or you will be pushing or dragging your suitcases like what we did. Hehe Aside from this, had a super great stay and will definitely go back!

Hotel was located inside the walls. So it’s where you want to be ! Hotel is clean ! Staff are nice . No fridge in room . Wifi doesn’t work all the time . No all rooms have bathrooms. There is no parking at this hotel. Parking is about 3 small blocks away. So not the end of the world . We stayed sept 2022 room 5 with a bathroom on the top floor .no air conditioning No elevators ! The city is great. Enjoy

Nice place. Hostess was charming, nothing too much trouble. The bed pillows were as hard as rock, so asked if she had softer ones, which she willingly supplied. Only issue was the stairs. Narrow and steep with 3 flights. Difficult with a suitcase, and if elderly or infirm. Ask for ground floor rooms. We would not have managed with 2 heavy suitcases to get upstairs. The first floor would have been our limit. Our friends were on top floor. They felt the same and were concerned of fire exit risk.
