A decent lodge with decent rooms. You can reach Quebec City in 10-15mins from the lodge. Good parking facility . The breakfast menu is the same everyday and very simple (expected some Quebec famous foods). Wifi connection is not impressive, for us the wifi had poor connection. The service is good though but there will not be any room service for cleaning your rooms during your stay until and unless you call them for the service. However, They does come if you call for the service .

Manager is inconsiderate, lacks any basic human decency, morals and ethics. Terrible customer service, rooms smell musty, floors are slippery. In one of the rooms we had reserved the mattress was hard and extremely old and the sofa was severely stained. So we requested to change the one room. They were fully booked our first night so the front staff asked that we make do and they would be able to switch us to a different one the next morning once more become available. Next morning we go to the front and the woman at the front is more then willing and told us she will have a new room available in a few hours and to just be patient. Power also happened to shut off in the room in the middle of showering that morning when my partner was trying to dry their hair. So we let them know that as well at the time of the request. Then when we come back later the manager steps in to shut down the change in rooms, he talks down to us and wants to charge more for the change of room. Will never recommend or stay here again. We come to quebec yearly and have never had such time with the hotel. Pay the little bit more and stay at Comfort inn they are 100x worth it. UPDATE - The only thing plugged in and in use when the power shut off was the hair dryer and the bathroom light. We offered numerous times that they come and see for themselves but was ignored and treated like trash. The mattress in the room itself had to have been at least 20 yrs old. It was the old cream coloured flip mattress I can recall seeing as a child. And the ignorance of the manager is unbelievable. He refused to have any basic courtesy. Saying every room has the exact same mattresses. Clearly not if we have two different rooms and the one with the two beds has newer and far nicer ones. Our room was room 107 which also happened to be their accessible room. Likely the manager/owner is so cheap he did not bother to change it out when replacing the rest. And rather then be a decent human being and actually listen and see what we were saying, he decided it'd be better to treat us like dirt. So we canceled what we could of the rest of our reservation and stayed at Comfort Inn and Suites. To be perfectly clear. The request to change rooms happened immediately after we saw the room. The power issues just happened to coincide with the repeated request to exchange rooms the next morning. Staying here will be like playing the lottery. If you get lucky it will appear decent. If not be prepared to be treated as trash with no basic courtesy or decency from the manager. *If you require an accessible room do not book here.* The room (107) is absolutely terrible.

Super friendly staff! Stayed for 2 weeks. It is a little on the cheap side but for a place to stay it's not too bad :)

Another great hotel from the Choice Hotels group. But making a pressed copy of my credit card shocked me, and I demanded they destroy that copy, and they did. In this time and age, you have to protect your credit info. I was not impressed at all

I am not sure why people have given such bad reviews. My recent stay was great. The room rates are economical, service is great. Room was clean and the people at the reception were nice and can speak english. Breakfast was great in terms of the price per night. Highly recommended if you dont want to spend too much on accommodation while visiting quebec city.

For the price it was bang on the buck. Comfortable, clean rooms, nothing extraordinary but serves the purpose. Decent breakfast with eggs, beans and fried potatoes along with bagel, bread and cereal. Totally worth the price, highly recommended!!

I stayed here last night. The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk service was good. She spoke French and English. The breakfast was alright. It was complimentary. A little more variety would have been good.

The room was lovely. Comfy bed and clean. Pass on the free breakfast unless you want dry overdone sausage and eggs. Actually the muffins and strong coffee were good

This hotel took a pet friendly booking from us on Priceline, for August 6th. Upon arrival they refused to honour the amenity and because I was traveling with my dog they canceled my reservation on the spot and left us very stuck for accommodations that night. As of today they are still advertising themselves as being pet friendly on Priceline. They made no attempt to help us, and were quite rude about their fault for not updating their listings on Priceline. I would not recommend this hotel.

The stuff are kind and the location is perfect ( near the airport). Rooms and bathrooms need some update. Should invest in new air conditioning units ( so loud).

Budget hotel with complimentary continental breakfast (pre-packed bags available between 6-10 am in the dining area, no dine-in due to COVID). Lower level rooms have sliding door access to parking spots outside. Connecting rooms available. Convenient Highway access, nearby shopping plaza and close proximity to Airport.

We booked two rooms for two nights. They were on the ground floor, so we were able to back our van right up to the doors of the rooms. The ground floor rooms have a door to the parking lot. This was VERY convenient. The rooms were also adjoining and had a door connecting them. It was really convenient for us. One room had a smell to it and the other room had a smell in the bathroom. Not terrible. The rooms were clean and the furniture looked recently updated. I found the beds to be comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. They are located within 20 minutes of the old port, old Quebec and many other popular attractions. The breakfast was VERY decent; yoghurt, cereal, hot cereal, eggs, muffins, etc. The rooms were not expensive (approximately $115/room/night plus tax). I would consider this place a very good value.

Good value for your dollar. Breakfast is included and was very good. Our room had a pull out bed that could use a new mattress.

Terribly noisy rooms, the heater sounds like a jet engine taking off, the rooms smell musty, not clean. It was fairly cheap and we didn't expect the rits but we expected clean and a good sleep. We didn't get either. Spend the extra money and go somewhere else!

Nice clean rooms and a nice breakfast included with the room for every nights stay. They don’t change the towels or make your bed while you stay there

Hotel is ok. Not worth of money. They don't provide any great breakfast. They have food bags to take away. Rooms are ok.

This hotel was alright. Works for its purposes. It has a convenient location with lots of options for food nearby. Around a 20 minute drive from the city. One complaint is the extremely loud AC in our room which would randomly stop and start up so you didn’t ever get « used » to it.

First room we were given only had hot water from sink and tap handle fell off when we attempted to get cooler water. When I reported it to front desk she asked me who broke the handle...how would I know was my response. We were given another room but suggest going to a better chain and bypassing this place

Not impressed. Asked to change room because I found hairs in the sheets and the rooms smelled of old smoke. Gentlemen at the front didn't even second quess anything and right away changed my key. Second room was just as dusty as the first (dust behind furniture, crumbs of food) although the sheets seemed clean and the room didn't smell of smoke. In the end I forgot something behind and when I called the next day, they had thrown it out. Definitely wouldn't return.

My daughter got lock in the bathroom within minutes of our arrival .staff didn't know what to do neither the boss . The is a big yellow round spot on the mattress . They are charging extra for service dog with the paperwork and harnest to prove it . Staffed refused to even acknowledge when being spoke too.horriboe customer service and rooms are nasty . I do not recommend even as a cheap last resort booking .there was no fitted sheet on the bed so we spent the night fighting to not touch the matress directly

Booked two rooms, got confirmation via email and phone. Confirmed by phone again, but on arrival, our booking was canceled, blaming a credit card issue and a wrong phone number. Receptionist, who's the manager/owner, seemed unprofessional. Possibly canceled for a higher-paying guest. Awful experience.

Very poor. Dirty, foul smell, broken flushes, worst breakfast (few things in a brown bag), irresponsible and ill mannered staff. WORST Econo Lodge in the world. Book any other hotel but not this one. I have stayed in Econo Lodge many times but this was the worst experience. They promised to call me back to discuss but they never did.

THE WORST WORST EXPERIENCE EVER !! AC was broken , fan was broken, sofa throw pillows were on the bed. Drainage was blocked in the bath tub. I couldn’t sleep whole night. Deserves 0 star. I will never recommend anyone this hotel. If you want sound sleep , go somewhere else BUT NOT HERE!!

The Super 8 next door is better accommodation at a better price - good value. Breakfast was o.kay - sausages were a welcome surprise, but then the liquid eggs were a disappointment… for what we were paying, I expect much better.

Had a good experience here. Good size rooms, nice table setup, lots of table and counter space. Both kids and us liked it very much.

If you need a one or two day stay on a budget then this place would satisfy your requirement. I found the size of the room to be of decent size. The bathroom size was okay just that it had a strange odour. Also the lighting in the bathroom was a bit dark in my opinion. Also I noticed the ironing board had a large dark spot. And as usual the beds at most hotels are too soft (for me). Also I felt the bathroom especially the bathtub wasn't cleaned well but it could be just me being picky. Would I stay here, probably not but if I needed a place to stay for the night and no other options available then I would but only for the night

Totally disappointing experience with this hotel and the mentality of the managers here. We did had a booking with them and unfortunately my husband found mild symptoms of covid... so due to sake of our n others health we planned not to travel and cancel the bookings. These people didnt understood the situation and adviced us to still travel n chk in into their hotel but they can't refund the amount. I was shocked by the response and now doubtful as how safe is this place who dont care about the health situation and letting people stay in their hotel just for the sake of money..... BE AWARE!!!!!

It’s a budget hotel so don’t expect too much. Good for a night or two. Room could be better cleaned up. Free breakfast is okay but eggs could be better. Kind of watery.

The room is dirty and the charge was around 150 per night stay. We requested for 2 hours extend for checkout and they agreed without additional charges but later they charged without informing us.

The worst. This hotel is sold online as pet friendly but it is NOT. We had to fight with the careless staff for them to respect our reservation clearly stating pet friendly. The walls are so thin we could literally participate to our neighbors discussion. Save yourself some pain and book somewhere else.

The rooms appeared clean until we lifted the sheets. The mattress was all stained like a massacre happened there. The shower only had Laval hot or 3rd degree burn hot water. Worst of all however was the complete lack of sleep due to a combination of an a/c that sounds like a jet engine and the party that was happening on our floor at 3am. The agent at reception wouldn't compensate in anyway because we didn't get out of bed and actively complain. No ma'am, we were trying our best to just block it out and sleep. Moral of the story - you get what you pay for and let me tell you 129$ isn't even cheap. What happened to the hospitality world. I am never going back to this chain of hotels.

Booked two rooms and gave all required info CORRECTLY and got a confirmation by email and also confirmed by phone a day before and they said everything is okay. We were an hour late due to traffic and when we arrived we were shocked to know that our booking was cancelled. They said the credit number didn’t pass and they said they called us and we didn’t answer and that they got an answer machine in the name of the person who booked. Turns out they put the wrong info and they changed one digit in the phone number on purpose and when we asked them to call the phone in front of us there was no answer machine at all and they blamed us for “not checking the phone number on the confirmation” although they didn’t add any phone number on the confirmation email. And apparently the receptionist is the manager and the owner which sounded hilarious. They played this game to cancel the booking since someone showed up and gave a higher price to take the room. 0/10 experience The don’t recommend. Service and employees attitude is very unprofessional.
