We could not have had a better time in Quebec City and staying at Royal Dalhousie was an incredible home base for our wonderful family reunion. The spacious, well appointed suites are beautiful, clean and modern yet still maintain the integrity of the magnificent old building. We cooked meals for 14 every night and slept 9 with everyone having their own space and privacy. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything we could ever need, the beds are comfortable with great linens and lovely towels in the bathrooms. The proximity of Royal Dalhousie is perfect, we never used the car once as we could easily and enjoyably walk wherever we wanted, everything is so close by, and we could not have asked for more. Ed and Carol are tremendous hosts who went above and beyond to ensure our family reunion was special. We can’t wait to return 🥰

This was our first family vacation to Quebec City and having the Royal Dalhousie as our home during that time was absolutely wonderful. The Royal Dalhousie team were in touch a week before our arrival to ensure that everything was confirmed for our check in. When we arrived from the airport, they were waiting to help us with our bags and provide a tour of the suite and amenities. We were absolutely blown away when we were shown our St Laurent suite. The sheer size and the incredible views of the St Laurent River were just breathtaking. The suite was immaculate and spotless with an elegant blend of contemporary and classic furniture. The beds were also very comfortable. For location, the Royal Dalhousie is about as perfect as you can get for touring Old Quebec. It is walking distance to just about every major attraction. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything for a large family and included a dishwasher. We ate most of our breakfasts at our suite and had our groceries delivered from the local Metro. There is also a front loading stacked washer and dryer in the suite. The building also has a rooftop patio with amazing views of the river. It was perfect for dad and mom wine time during the evenings. We stayed at the Royal Dalhousie for one week but my wife and kids wanted to stay forever! We will definitely return either next summer or during the winter for Carnaval. I rented the place to stay and to take boudoir photos and it was perfect ! The decor is very charming and it is HUGE ! It was super neat with everything you need included to cook, clean yourself and have a good time. I chose the Champlain suite for the view, the magnificent mirror and the huge bath perfect for cuddling for two.

I do not give 5 stars lightly. Le Royal Dalhousie definitely deserves one. The condo we stayed in was everything anyone could ask for. It was larger than I thought it would be, beautifully decorated and clean. The location was fantastic, right by the water and walkable to everywhere in Old Quebec City. The view from the room was great but the views from the rooftop patio were even better ( a great place to relax and enjoy the evening). The best thing about staying there was the service from Ed and Carol! They were available to answer any questions we had and even helped us make dinner reservations. Ed and Carol thanks for making our stay in Quebec so much fun.

Quebec City is beautiful but what made it truly memorable was having an outstanding, one of a kind "home" to which you could return after a full day of sight seeing. Royal Dalhousie and Ed are rare gems not easily found these days. Everything felt personalized and you could sense the thought and care that went into every detail. From the full kitchen where you could entertain a crowd to a curling iron in the the bathroom to even a portable grocery cart, you could sense that the comfort and convenience of the guests were first and foremost. The wall to wall floor to ceiling windows allowed us to appreciate the sparkle of the river at sunrise and the array of lights across the river at night. The spaciousness was truly a welcome when everyone wanted a bit of "alone" time after socializing all day, and the roof top terrace was the perfect spot to gather again for a night cap. The location was prime as everything on Google Maps seemed to say 6 minutes away and the gas station around the corner made it easy to fill up or grab some last minute items. By the end of our trip, Royal Dalhousie indeed felt like home. This is a special place, and I am glad to have found it. The reviews of other guests played a big part in my selecting Royal Dalhousie. As such, to anyone who is searching for a place that will enrich your trip, look no further. It will exceed your expectations. Many thanks, Ed. Ed and Carol were wonderful hosts! We've been waiting for this vacation for well over a year and it was well worth the wait! The accommodations were stunning and well-maintained. Ed assisted with getting reservations at a local restaurant as well as providing a tour for us one day. Our last evening there we enjoyed rooftop beverages with our hosts. We will be back for certain, and highly recommend this location!

What a wonderful trip! The condo was beautiful, in a great location, clean, very large and we were treated like family. Ed and Carole were welcoming and helpful. We had a fantastic time and were sad to leave. I can't wait to return.

We were surprised at how good this place was. It is a large apartment right in the heart of old Quebec City. You just park in their parking lot and you can then walk to the rest of the time. Everything was great. It is very clean, spacious and well maintained. We will go back!

Loved the location and the apartment itself was wonderful. To have on-site parking in the old part of town was great. We loved it and intend to stay there again during our next visit.

Omg the accommodations were amazing, but Ed the property manager added so much to our family trip..I cannot say enough positive! We, without hesitation will be back!

Chosen because our extended family could all stay together this place was exactly what we wanted: 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, full kitchen, big enough living and our own laundry facility (actually 2 laundries, one for each side of the Bluenose-Griffin). The place was immacutelty clean, well maintained and well appointed: for instance plenty of extra towels and more than enough crockery.

There is no better location in the city. The apartments are spacious, well furnished and very comfortable. A roof patio offers prime views of the city, river and mountains.

Magnifque!!!! Excellent accommodations for family of 8. Genevieve Biron, Mr. Biron (father, owner) and staff were most attentive to our needs. They provided great consierge tips for dining, local shops, transit options, and sightseeing trips. Rooftop terrace is a wonderful place to relax and take in the many spectacular St. Lawrence River views by day and the stars by night. Conveniently located within walking distance to major Old Quebec City sites and steps from the RTC bus line. Once you visit you will understand how the Royal Dalhousie condos earned their 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 rating.

The perfect place to gather before or after a cruise! Right across the street from the wharf. The staff is so helpful! Can't wait until they get that coffee bar installed on the first floor! Terrific view of a ship (not ours) upon arrival. After it left, we had a great view of the other side of the river. In the other direction, a great view of Chateau Frontenac!
