Terrible service, our room was quite dirty. It said, 24-48 hours between guests, due to covid, so the rooms could be disinfected between guests. Not true! We saw them come and go, out by 12, new guests at 3pm. Our bathroom was not clean, toothpaste splattered on the big mirror, a big handprint a little higher. They didn't come clean the room once! Didn't pick up or replace towels either! It smelled awful, like pee. The staff needs to be trained properly. Our toilet got blocked, so we told them. After waiting a good 15 minutes, the guy came to ask if we needed it unblocked right away!!! We said yes, we are 4 people, so he went to get the plunger. And we kept running out of ice, the ice machine broke, but there's one across the street, where the pool is, lol. All in all, I wouldn't recommend this place. Just giving you the heads up!

The front desk was half destroyed. The rooms were dirty and full of stains and beg bugs. The milk was not even in a fridge or on ice. The phones were not working, the rude staff even the staff were talking rudely to us. (Bad experience for 6)

Great service, true continental breakfast. Croissants, toasts, yogurt, milk, let you take whatever you like..not a bagged one like many named branded motel now under the fake name of Covid Mandate. I do not speak any French while visiting Quebec City. The staff here was able to book a cab a day ahead for me. This location is also close to #80 bus stop.. Less than 10 mins walk.. Can go to both airport and Old Quebec easily. Great stay

It’s very neat & decent place. Offers Value for money. We booked it at last minute and was little concerned due to not so good rating. But we took a good decision of staying here. I would recommend to anyone looking for good budget hotel.

This hotel was horrible. The only reason we stayed was because we couldn't find another place at such short notice. Problems: 1. No working lock on our door. At night it was only secured by a chain. We had to store our belongings in our van when we went out. 2. When we complained we were told not to worry, that no one would bother a family of six. No apology or attempt to make things better. 3. Floor didn't look like it had been swept for a long time. Hallways were dirty. 4. Breakfast in the morning consisted of bread, bagels, yogurt, and a semi working coffee machine. It was good some of us came early as no one came to refresh when it all ran out. Not worth the money.

The motel is old and quite dirty. Although it is cheap, I expect them to have a better room with good facilities and better customer service.

Motel rooms are nothing like in their pictures. The cigarette & moisture smell is overwhelming. Linen covers are worn out. The fridge was smelly and hadn't been de-iced in ages. Window screen torn. Won't stay there ever again.

I was sceptical after reading reviews but it was so good, the receptionist was so friendly and the room was so clean. So happy with my experience there.

Normally I don't leave negative reviews, but this time I have to. To begin with, the pics on the website don't even come close to what we found in our room. The hotel is on 1 side of the road and the motel is on the other. I thought we were booked into the hotel but it was the motel we were sent to. The chair outside our room had someone's personal items on it, and when we went in to use the toilet there was human feces in it. The maid hadn't flushed it. let alone clean it. There was no smoke/co2 detector in the room. The ONLY reason we stayed was because there was nothing else available and I was exhausted from driving from Toronto to Quebec City. The word 'dump' doesn't come close to what we found. Totally disgusting. Sorry, but this place deserves 2 thumbs down.

A filthy hotel with a disrespectful manager. The room was full of flies and smells awful; stains were all over the beds and sheets; likely to have bedbugs!! We arrived there at 2am and were too tired; still we couldn't bear it and requested a refund (they accepted). And we found a hotel nearby with much higher quality and almost the same price. DON'T EVEN THINK OF GOING TO THIS HOTEL!

We were stunned to walk in the room: bedding was such a mess, lights can not be switched on and smoke detector fell off ceiling... Called the service to check and he explained it was a mistake because they were too busy. We changed the room but the air condition was noicy all night.

We had an amazing experience at Motel Le Gita. The room and bathroom were clean, sanitized and spacious. Service was really good and staff was helpful especially the manager. Also breakfast and parking were available.

I don't travel much and certainly I've overlooked the impact of covid for out of city lodgings. The good..the air conditioning was insanely cold. The bathroom was clean. The bad..the room stank of cigarette upon entering. The bedsheets were stained. There were used qtips behind the garbage can..disgusting. The free breakfast was extremely disorganized and dismal. I gave it three stars because it deserves a chance..blame covid.

I found the rooms to be quite dirty almost like a film was left on everything. I don’t remember seeing housekeeping even once. As far as the breakfast goes a lot of the plates and cutlery were empty and not properly stocked in addition COVID protocols like masking and distancing were not being followed at all with no enforcement by staff. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Very very smelly rooms. Door was stuck, pictures on google/booking websites are not real, worst experience. Not recommended specially for families.

We had a great and peaceful one-night stay recently. The rooms were clean and spacious, mattress was newly replaced and very comfortable, sheets had no hair on it, Wif connection was decent. The Staff was friendly and very helpful.

Horrible place, extremely outdated, very dirty and smelly. Also the crowd that stays here seems questionable. I was worried my car would get broken into during the night. The doors are very flimsy and can easily be broken into, there are hairs on the washroom floor, the hallways have garbage all over the floor and dirty towels piled up into a mountain. Entire placed smelled of smoke. It's not even worth paying $50. Stay clear of this place it needs to be demolished.

Amazing find. Clean and well worth the price paid. The breakfast was also good and is not just grab and go. Definitely a must stay with family and save $$

Absolutely disgusting!! Not cleaned properly, found long black hair in the bed, on towels etc. Very ghetto, disgusting and trashy. It’s worth the money to go somewhere else!

We were there 2 weeks ago for the long weekend. The pillow in the room was dirty. Our bed sheets had some blood stains on them. Neighbors were outside workers. They looked through the curtains to see if we were there while relaxing with hubby. They smoked weed in front of my window and talked till 3:00 am every morning. Very noisy and dirty premises. Very rundown and too far from Quebec City.

For the price, having NO shower curtain is ridiculous! First time at any hotel. Also the bath towels weren't very clean either.

Well arranged room compared to some others, convenient to airport, but almost nothing to visit on foot from here.

Place a bit outdated! Been a while since I book a room that requires a key instead of a card to open the door! The air conditioning is not strong enough! The cleanest is ok for the price! Overall it is not a bad place to rest with the family! It included basic breakfast which is nice! I wasn’t expecting a hotel quality room so I was satisfied! I also like that they have a microwave in the room, which many hotels now does not have anymore!

Excellent and accommodating staff. Very friendly and very professional. If only the owners can spend a little more and invest in cleaning the room more specially the carpets, it would be nicer. Continental breakfast includes one cereal, flavored yogurt, different types of bread, croissant, coffee and different types of spread.

Excellent hotel with ambient environment,, room was very good with balcony, breakfast was complementary and good. Calm and quite place.

Easy access, big spacious rooms with 3 double beds, clean rooms and plenty of towels to use. 3 minutes away are 2 gas stations.

Considering the fair price, the service was good. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. The breakfast was very basic but ok.

We stayed two nights , the first thing i niticed , at check in the receptionist didnt even bother explaining the details about how brakefast and operarions worked , went into the room and the floor was not clean at all , the bed sheets were having cigaret burns on them , as my wife and 2 daughters wanted to get beds together, I tossed the bed I was shocked to see dirty socks , an empty beer can and a dirty towel on the floor along with a couple of kids toys , this is by far the worst I've seen

Room not so clean. Requested next day to have the room cleaned but no. My family had to wait an hour after we came back from our day plan so they can empty the garbage and new towels. I had to follow a staff around to get new towels. Bed sheets were reused of course. Staff don't refill breakfast and things will be empty by 9am(it is until 10am)

Wouldn’t recommend the motel!! Extremely dirty and foul smell in the corridors and inside the rooms. The bed sheets used were dirty and I could see that they were uncleaned. Not a good place to stay. We booked this as all of the other affordable accommodation were fully booked and we did not have any other choice.

Good for the price. Clean and cosy room, an acceptable continental breakfast, a spacious swimming pool is a good bonus.

My Mom and I stayed at the Hotel Le Gite in June 2022 and we both highly recommend it as we had an amazing experience with both the Hotel and Staff. This place is an Amazing Value For Your Money as the rooms are very clean, bright and big. The beds and pillows are very new, clean and comfortable. The Staff and ambience are both very warm and inviting. We are planning more trips to Quebec City in the very near future and we will definitely not be looking for another hotel...Thank You Jerry and Staff for our new "home away from home", see you soon! Disgusting Hotel. Threadbare carpets, bags of rubbish in hallways, rooms smell of cigarettes (and other unidentifiable odours), Coin in the slot "adult" movies for TV probably sums up this establishment. Definitely not recommended for families.
