Do not waste your time coming here. There's a place right beside for a better price and better rooms. The walls are paper thin. You'll hear everything the people beside you are doing, literally. You can hear the people in the rooms beside you talk, walk, flush the toilet and sit on their bed. The highway is right beside and you'll hear every car passing by. The rooms have a heavy smell, and are not the best cared for. I pulled the mattress cover for a sanitary check and it's literally stained all over in something dark. Expect no customer service and no garbage bin in your room. It's a joke. Strongly do not recommend.

Nice place to stay close to city if you have rental car. Rooms clean. Near freeway but not overly noisy. We parked at St Paul parking lot near old Quebec to base our walks from. Just 10 minutes from this motel.

Reserved because of reviews & ratings. May have been overrated for my tastes. Owners run/manage motel are friendly and helpful. Rooms a bit small in size, well maintained & clean if not older layout.

We loved our stay here. So cozy. The owners are such nice people. Se got the room at last moment room26,27. Such a cute accomodation! Close to everything Definately recomending to all!

Super clean and worth the value :) Unlike the other reviews we felt very safe and at home at this motel. Also, unlike the other reviews, the polite lady at the desk was professional and could speak both English (fluent!) and French. Pool was sooo clean and nice to cool off after a hot day. The motel has a nice feel to it and the room is just what we needed. Clean bathroom and shower. Thank you Motel Chevalier! :) <3

Excellent. All I needed: No carpet, a fridge and WiFi but no microwave. Very clean. The owners are friendly and helpful. They live right there and answer the door quickly day and night. Access is easy. There are highways close by including one going straight to the old Quebec City.

Great experience more than we expected for the $$s. pool was clean and heated, room was clean and fully functional, Maurice was amazing to everyone’s needs. Service was immediate and from what I saw everyone enjoyed their stay. We’ll be back when we do the charlebois train excursion. Thanks for the memories Maurice

The staff was extremely helpful and so friendly to our group. We were on a cycling trip, and this was our last night. They helped us secured our bikes and assisted with us getting downtown (5min uber). The rooms were very clean and our group all slept great! We enjoyed the pool which was well maintained. I would highly recommend, and it is the only place I’ll be staying when I return.

The room was pretty clean and cozy. I bet it's much better than normal cheap hotels obviously.

I am not sure if it was just our room or others too but it was not a pleasant stay. There was mould in our bath tub and on the bed frame. Our Internet came in and out and wasn't able to load much. There was no shampoo and conditioner (heads up) and the bath tub had a huge air bubble making it uncomfortable to shower in and unsafe for our son to be in. The "heated" pool was not heated. The two worst things is that the manager could not have cared less. He was rude and disrespectful. Had he charged us $60 I would have been fine, but instead a whopping $107 to stay in a mouldy room with a manager that had no manners.

A great place to stay. Lovely clean rooms. Great customer service. I have returned to stay many times. A nice local family business who has been business for a long time due to strong consistent great customer service.
