The bed and breakfast hotel was very good. It had a nice, old fashioned atmosphere and felt like visiting in Europe. The breakfast was good and offered many foods including French toast or eggs with fruit, jams, cheese, ham, toast, and cereal for kids. Although there were stairs to get to the room, which could be difficult for older people, the room was very clean and spacious. Ours had three queen beds (for five people) that were comfortable. I would also recommend bringing your own slippers (although there were spare used slippers there), because shoes are not allowed inside to prevent snow and mud on the carpets. A major drawback was having no hotel reception or phones in the room, only a worker that wasn’t always available. Overall I would recommend staying at Chez Marie Claire bed and breakfast because it also had parking for the hotel’s guests. It’s location in the center of old Quebec City is especially useful for tourists because it is five minutes away from many excellent places to visit including the Chateau Frontenac, The Funicular, Erico chocolate museum, The Citadelle, and many many excellent restaurants. I would recommend going to all of the above listed places as well.

We had a very comfortable stay. The care taker, Magalie has exceptional customer service skills. She prepares fresh warm breakfast every morning for the guests which makes you feel like home. Place was very clean and tidy. Location is also great if you’re looking to explore old Quebec!

I was pleasantly surprised by this marvelous bed and breakfast right in the middle of old town in Quebec City. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, and they even have parking spaces for guests! The hostess, Florence, made us a delicious breakfast with some local maple butter to taste.

The hotel was a delightful experience! Set in the heart of Old Quebec, the inn was reminiscent of the old world French charm. The hosts were very congenial and accommodating to the fact that our French was quite poor, and conversed in English. He provided us with all the sights and other points of interests (such as the best restaurants) in town. The room and breakfast was exemplary and we were left wanting for nothing. All in all, a splendid stay and one that we would definitely make again!

Quaint B&B in Old Quebec within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and activities. The host, Hervé, was kind and welcoming. The rooms are very clean and have their own bathroom. The included breakfast has plenty of options that should satisfy most. Free parking is included as well.

Very cute and cozy place, with a nice breakfast spread. The hosts did not speak English, and we din't know French, so there was some hand-waving and use of Google Translate! Was able to tandem park in the back for free, and had to leave the keys in the foyer so that they could unblock other cars. One star ding because our double-queen room on the 3rd floor had a nearly transparent bathroom door, which also not sound-proof.
