The
bed
and
breakfast
hotel
was
very
good.
It
had
a
nice,
old
fashioned
atmosphere
and
felt
like
visiting
in
Europe.
The
breakfast
was
good
and
offered
many
foods
including
French
toast
or
eggs
with
fruit,
jams,
cheese,
ham,
toast,
and
cereal
for
kids.
Although
there
were
stairs
to
get
to
the
room,
which
could
be
difficult
for
older
people,
the
room
was
very
clean
and
spacious.
Ours
had
three
queen
beds
(for
five
people)
that
were
comfortable.
I
would
also
recommend
bringing
your
own
slippers
(although
there
were
spare
used
slippers
there),
because
shoes
are
not
allowed
inside
to
prevent
snow
and
mud
on
the
carpets.
A
major
drawback
was
having
no
hotel
reception
or
phones
in
the
room,
only
a
worker
that
wasn’t
always
available.
Overall
I
would
recommend
staying
at
Chez
Marie
Claire
bed
and
breakfast
because
it
also
had
parking
for
the
hotel’s
guests.
It’s
location
in
the
center
of
old
Quebec
City
is
especially
useful
for
tourists
because
it
is
five
minutes
away
from
many
excellent
places
to
visit
including
the
Chateau
Frontenac,
The
Funicular,
Erico
chocolate
museum,
The
Citadelle,
and
many
many
excellent
restaurants.
I
would
recommend
going
to
all
of
the
above
listed
places
as
well.
