My family stayed at this hotel and despite costing a lot (~$250 per night), it was a very bad stay. The location is fantastic, but you are better off spending the money elsewhere. The shower had a shelf attached which kept sliding down when the water ran. This felt unsafe since it could fall on the user at any time. Additionally, the table lamp was not functional - when we informed the staff, they mentioned they knew and did nothing to fix it. The staff was not even available at 9.30 am to further inform of the lack of light. Despite requesting a cleaning service, the room was not cleaned.

I called their EMERGENCY number because I was locked out for hours. They told me “Too bad that it is your problem”. In a very rude tone too. Worse hotel service ever. Even hostels are better.

Location is prime. Located within Old Quebec, you can walk everywhere. Very close to everything you need for a weekend getaway. Our room/bathroom was well lit, very clean, the water pressure in the shower was fantastic. When adventuring Quebec City, you are constantly walking around and getting tired, the last thing I'm worried about is a TV not working correctly when all I want to do is sleep. The hotel was quiet. Not located close to any bars/pubs, so the streets were quiet for a Saturday night. The bed was comfortable, with extra sheets/blankets. For late October, I was actually sweating at night, so it was very nice.

I am taking time to write this review because when I was looking for a budget option within the walled city I had very few option left and the I booked this place. Later on seeing I was sad on reading previous review. Still had hopes and wanted to save and commute I keep the reservation On. Pros: 1. The hotel location so convenient to all attractions. Walkabale. 2. Clean rooms 3. Clean bathrooms 4. Good air conditioning 5. Toiletries were provided 6. Historic building 7. Cozy. Cons: 1. Entrance could have cleaned daily. Little untidy but it’s understandable. 2. No lifts ( no problem for young people if they have rooms in 3rd floor can climb)

Looks like they did repairs to the ceiling and didn't bother to clean up. Chunks of old paint everywhere and dust on the walls. Also has a very musty smell. Location is convenient, but I wouldn't recommend this place.

Overall a real rip off. Not even at the level of a cheap Motel standards. As soon as you walk in, all you can smell is the musky old carpets. The rooms were dirty, plenty of mold in the shower, old and uncomfortable pillows, dirty bed sheets, noisy (each time someone goes to the washroom in the hotel you can hear the flushing), each time the air exchanger started you heard the rusted system, big banging noise similar to construction (which I assume comes from the pipes). The walls are so paper thin you can hear your neighbours conversations. We reserved two rooms, one had no soap, the other had no covers. We went back to the main lobby to ask for soap and there were no employees there anymore (less than 15 minutes after checking in at 4:30 pm). I have never stayed in a worse hotel in my entire life. The pictures you see on the Booking post, could not be further from reality/what we got.

The location is nice, the rooms are quiet small and noisy. The management office is a joke. We tried contacting someone 4 times and no one was ever in the office. When we finally got ahold of someone by phone they were useless and told us to call the booking service. They were not helpful at all. I would not stay here again.

Great for 1 or 2 nights only. There is only a young man sometimes on duty next door. We had to beg for basics such as towels, toilet paper, soap, etc. Repeatedly lied to when trying to get services. YIKES!

The room was so cool and old looking, in a good way! The location was amazing! The only reason why I didn't give it a 5 is because the bathroom was nothing great, but it was clean.

Lots of noise from kitchen underneath our room. No air conditioner though it cooled down at night. Best thing about this place is the location. Ask for bracfast coupons when you ck in at #72 next door

Staff in the hotel next door gave us our room key, which worked out but we had to go back out in the rain to retrieve it. The room was fine (the toilet room was separated from the shower & lav by the bedroom). Very quiet.

We requested a blanket for the pullout bed. The gentleman at the front desk told us the blanket was in the closet. No blanket, he came up to verify that there was no blanket. When I asked for the extra blanket he said they didn’t have anymore. For $240+ a night, shouldn’t a blanket be included with your stay? If you need an extra one shouldn’t that be an option? Really disappointed as for that price a blanket and comfort should be an option. He said he didn’t have another option and didn’t seem willing to assist.

We were promised breakfast and they "forgot" to give us our breakfast coupons for Sagamite, we had one room with no heat. We tried for over 3 hours to reach someone. We left messages..no one returned our calls. Check in was a disaster as the desk clerk locked the office and was in the restaurant socializing. So easy to fix..but they do not seem to care.

There are two or more physical locations all walkable from check in. Breakfast is in the superb Sagamite restaurant and I recommend you get the breakfast package. Room was good and simple. Even though December, room was hot and radiators could not be turned down so A/C had to be turned on or windows opened. There was (we think due to plumbing) a howling noise for a few minutes every now and again. Light sleepers may find it disturbing. However hotels location excellent, Staff helpful and friendly. Recommend you take advantage of the Hotel valet parking rather than find parking.

Except for the great location, everything else was a bit disappointing. There was a literal blood stain on the sheets when we got there, there's mould in the shower and the doors and walls are so thin, we heard the loud tv next door for 3 days.

My wife and I visited Quebec City last week and stayed at Hotel Louisbourg. Easy to find, right in the middle of the old city and close to everything. Hotel was very clean. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Were going back next fall and will stay at this hotel again. Thank-you!

First and will be the last booking for this hotel got worse than i thought. Rooms are cold! The hotel was like a maze when you get in! I don't really recommend this! Its very pricey when compared to others no parking availables but the parking space was empty! They supposed to give us parking specially its winter its hard to find 😒 I found and book last summer cheap prices just at the back of this hotel and its way better!

Great location in old Quebec. We were able to check in an hour early, but the person on the phone was not accommodating. The rooms were charming, very old but with a few modern updates.

Room is cold and the heater doesn’t work properly, even though we asked them to check it. Coffee machine wasn’t working and we had to ask them to change it, which they did. There is no daily cleaning service. There is no closet in the room for suitcases and clothes.

This hotel's only redeeming quality was the stone wall. The stone wall in the room makes it look luxury but the actual room itself is just a basic bad hotel room you could get anywhere. Half the lamps don't work in the room. Three uncomfortable pillows, a TV that doesn't work, a remote with no batteries, and a shower that barely works. However the location in town is incredible for walking with a parking garage on the same street. Would be fine if you plan to just sleep there and not ever hang out in the room.

The place and location is amazing. We had problem with A/C as it kept turning off once it reached the temperature chosen. The towels are so old and thin and the coffee machine doesn't work properly. You have only one choice of coffee, not any tea or nothing. The receptionist was pretty cold who waited you to say hi to reply back. The breakfast is in the package that you have to eat at the room, which is kinda understandable considering COVID-19. But they forgot to put spoon in the package, so we couldn't finish ours. They have a bottle of wine and chocolate which is a nice gesture.

Cute rooms with an authentic vibe. Really well located !!! Parking is an issue even when booked in advance. Found lot of dust under our bed and old water was left in the ice bucket. Service at the front desk (hotel Acadia) is terrible everytime we come here.

Room was extremely small. So small that our sink was next to the bed. The pipes in the walls make so much noise, which is really annoying in the early hours of the morning. Walls are paper thin and you can hear everything going on in the next room. Staff are really friendly and helpful to be fair. Good location in the old town as well.

Cute quaint hotel. Staff was always friendly and happy to help. However the room was not cleaned properly. Crumbs on the carpet and stains on the washroom walls. Perfectly located however

Small, quaint room in a hotel with old world charm, along with rooming house feel to it. Not bad at all.

Great location but pretty run down in our building. It was also very noisy. Disappointing since the pics online looked so cute

This hotel was like a nightmare, the staff are in a different building, you can’t get ahold of them , the bathroom was disgusting, there are silverfish all over the place. The carpets are disgusting. Look elsewhere for accommodations. It’s not with the grime.
