Wonderful place in the old city- stone and brick with a fireplace. Walk to the park with a grand view of the water, the mountains in the distance. Music, performers and local artisans, libraries, churches and book stores and so much more. Great staff, good tips and directions around town.

It was a terrible old building, during my two nights stay, I couldn’t sleep and rest at all because the ceiling dripping all that rainy nights so bad! although I let the owner know about this catastrophe , they didn’t compensate it for me and the owner wasn’t nice ! When I told her I will never recommend you to anyone, she replied me that : we don’t need your recommendation !! Very rude in customer service relationship!! Also although breakfast was included in the amenities, but there wasn’t any breakfast . I just paid for an old and damaged building !! I never recommended to anybody.

Best part about this property is the hospitality of Victoria..she is so compassionate and hospitable..I was travelling with my aged parents and she made sure we had no trouble at all..starting from making us feel at home till helping us in so many ways,she’s one of the most kind lady I have ever come across..may god bless her! The property has real character and was decorated with love and care. This will be my first choice whenever I come back to Quebec City! The breakfast was superb and Victoria was so kind to make us an omelette everyday just because my parents preferred eggs..she’s an angel!

The location was perfect. The reservation included breakfast but the B&B Fontaine hotel sent me an email the same day I entered the hotel indicating that they were not providing breakfast service. Victoria was very rude when I talked about the situation.

Great location. The rooms upstairs are a solid 3 star. Bathroom amenities could be upgraded.

Very much enjoyed my visit. Stayed in the sun room which has a nice patio. Victoria was a gracious host and makes a delicious breakfast. Hope to return to have more time to explore Old Quebec!

Clean, cozy, charming, convenient and comfortable. It was a perfect stay. I will be back.

Had a nice time there. We stayed in the upper middle room, which seemed to be the smallest one. Was ok as we stayed only to sleep, but we didn't have much space to open our bags. The room is in an der style. This also includes the bathroom being in a closet style inside the room. It even has it's own window, which opens into the room.

Very comfortable and clean! Victoria makes am excellent breakfast. The rooms are beautiful and the location is perfect for accessing the old city.

Perfect location and we could walk everywhere. Room was clean and full of charm. Many choices for breakfast and the hostess was very knowledgeable and helpful. We would definitely return.

Due to Covid 19 there is no breakfast. Victoria the B&B manager is poised, helpful to the 9th degree, and exudes the Quebecois welcoming spirit. A wonderful holiday!

A very beautiful room, friendly service, unfortunately we were awaken at 7am by some drilling renos into the brick wall above our heads

Room was nice and location excellent. Otherwise not a nice stay. At one point had an issue with the toilet continually overflowing which required us to spend 45 minutes trying to fix including the unsealed bathroom leaking into the floor below. Rather than being thanked or compensated for our efforts we were blamed for having caused intentional damage. We never saw the owner our entire stay but had an uneasy time as they were clearly coming and going from our room and interactions were often panicked and disorganised. Also second the issue with water dripping by the window in the night made it very hard to sleep. Other reviews seem to have had completely different interactions with the host but for us it was uncomfortable.
