Our family stayed here when we gathered together for my Nanny's celebration of life. Sophie (the owner) was fabulous. The house is perfectly aged, very clean and comfortable. Lots of upgrades without losing that old home feeling. She even had board games and card games for our family to enjoy. The upstairs kitchen has lots of natural light and everything you need to bring your own groceries in. We had 30 people over after the church mass and everyone complimented the house. Plenty of space for all. Beds are comfortable. We will definitely be returning to Le Widor. Family that had booked a hotel plan to join us at the Widor next trip to the very beautiful old Quebec. Thank you very much Sophie❤

Perfect to stay for exploring Quebec City, with spacious and clean room with bathroom. The owner, Sophie, was very hospitable, offering excellent breakfast. Excellent location with a beautiful walking path to downtown attractions via the Plains of Abraham.

My husband and I had a lovely 3 day stay at Le Widor. Sophie, the owner, was an incredible host. Her home is nicely appointed with lovely accommodation. Bed is very comfortable, rooms are clean and well maintained. Breakfasts are very tasty, and filling. Location is very close to old Quebec City and within walking distance. Will definitely come back and recommend it to others.

Sophie is a kind and welcoming host, who went above and beyond for us during our short stay there. Her heritage home is beautiful, clean and well-appointed. Breakfast is locally sourced, delicious, and definitely made with love. For location, Le Widor can’t be beat — steps away from the Plains of Abraham, the Fine Art Museum, and multiple bustling quartiers. Makes me want to go to Quebec City more often!

We stayed at Le Widor a couple of years ago. It was the first time we stayed in a B&B and we had an incredible experience at Le Widor. Sophie, the host, was wonderful to us during our whole stay and made us feel like at home since the very first moment. She gave us a nice warm welcome after a long train journey and provided us with a lot of useful and practical information about all the amenities in the area. She also gave us useful information about attractions, interesting events and the best places to visit in Québec as well as a city map to move around. The house is located in a nice and peaceful area with beautiful houses, but at the same time there are plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, shops and cafés around. Moreover, it's just a 20-minute walk to Old Québec (a really pleasant walk along Grand Allée to the Citadelle, Parliament and into the gates of Old Quebec). The house is charming, tastefully furnished and pristine. There's a common kitchen for guests, fully equipped, where Sophie serves a delicious homemade breakfast. Rooms are spacious and comfy. Definitely a place worth to stay if you’re visiting Quebec. We absolutely loved it!

We recently stayed at Le Widor for a family reunion and it was a very positive experience. The rooms are good sized, beds very comfortable and there was a kitchen and dining room available for our use if we wished to cook ourselves. Sophie, the proprietress, is wonderful . In addition to the delicious and varied breakfasts that she cooked for us, she shared the yard and pool and gave us good information about places of interest in the area. It is in a great neighborhood, easy walk to the old city, and near a beautiful park. It's a great place to stay and would stay here again when I am in Quebec. Merci Sophie!

Le Widor is a charming Bed and Breakfast hosted by the lovely and wonderful Sophie. My husband and I stayed with Sophie for three nights and she was so friendly and accommodating; a few weeks before our stay, she sent us a long list of local eateries, museums, and things to do in the area. One of our favorites was Les Cousins on Cartier street - which she claimed was a must and she was right. When we arrived she welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home, and helped us park our car in her garage. We stayed in the large bedroom/suite with its own hallway and bathroom that overlooks Grand Allée: the king size bed and pillows were probably the comfiest we’ve ever slept in (and the best sleep we ever got at a hotel), and the room had lots of sunny windows, a couch, table, and great lighting. The bathroom was big and very, very clean with plenty of towels and other amenities. On our last day Sophie made us a delicious breakfast that included local berries, an omelette, muffin, yogurt and cappuccino - and she also set us up a nice table outside on the terrace per our request even though it was cold outside. We really appreciated that! Sophie clearly takes a lot of pride in her work and in the care of her space that she designs so well to make guests feel both pampered and at home. We hope to visit QC again soon so we can stay specifically with Sophie at Le Widor, and we will definitely be sending our family and friends there too! - Frances & Nick

Sophie's place is a wonderful little getaway, just a short walk from Old Quebec. The largest suite (Symphony) is huge, and includes a large private bathroom and full bathtub. The room was clean, cozy, quiet, and climate-controlled. Sophie makes homemade breakfast in the morning ($15 extra per day) which was delicious both times I had it. Banana bread and quiche were definitely the highlights! Don't forget to say hello to Soleil, the incredibly friendly kitty. He really likes belly rubs.

My wife and I stayed at this wonderful B&B for our 30th anniversary after reading all of the positive reviews - and they were not wrong. Le Widor is very clean, quiet and comfortable. We were always able to get a fantastic nights sleep. There is a lot of value in staying here, only a 25 minute walk from the old city and just around the corner from Cartier Ave, which has a lot of shops, cafes and restaurants. Sophie was the perfect host, always helpful whenever we had a question. We will definitely come back to Le Widor! Highly recommended!

This is a great bed and breakfast in Quebec. Location was close to all the places to tour, eat, and drink while not being directly in the touristy area. Sophie was a lovely host; always around to answer a question or provide some great advice on things to do or places to go. Breakfast was $15 and included yogurt/granola with fresh berries, espresso drinks, homemade muffins, and a main dish. This is a great place for EV owners as well. I was able to park and charge my Rivian truck in the garage at the property. Parking was $15 a day, and charging was $1.50 per hour. The charger was pretty solid and it worked out to 8-9kw. For those EV owners who know, it's great to start out the next leg of a road trip with a 100% charge. Overall, highly recommend!
