We had supper here, and the view is great. Food was excellent, as was the service.

A wonderfully authentic québécois experience! It was such a "taste-treat" to sample many regional specialities!

First the good. The restaurant patio has a beautiful view of the bridge and Montmorency Falls with a stunning sunset! We looked forward to a beautiful dinner. But the food was a disappointment. My wife ordered the chicken. The sauce and veggies were very good but the chicken was overdone to the point of dryness. I ordered the pork chop. I got a thin supermarket family package piece of pork that was less than 1/2” thick and way overcooked. The mushroom sauce and veggies, although skimpy in quantity were good. The chop and chicken were way overpriced at $27 each.

Incredible views from this quaint functional farm. Take the trip across the bridge...you won't regret it!

This is easily one of our favorite restaurants in Quebec city. My wife does not eat lamb due to the flavor from poor quality meat or bad cooking. However, when she tasted my roast lamb, she pretty much ate out of my plate. There was an event going on during our visit and we were taken to another quiet dinning area. The building itself is fairly old but it is well kept. The sugar pie is fantastic but man, the maple pudding cake is to die for. When you can't decide what to order, ask the waiter, we took his suggestion and we had a lovely meal.

The food is just amazing! It's crazy how something that look so simple can taste so great. One might say that the service is a bit slow, but I feel that it's maybe you that lives to fast. Life if made to be enjoye, and going to Les Ancêtres I'm telling you will help you doing just that.

It's the best place to watch the sunset while having a drink on a terrace. Beautiful view of the bridge and the waterfall. The staff is very polite and helpful.

The restaurant is delicious. It has locally sourced food, and several dishes that remind us of the past on this island. The wine list is great, and the cocktails represent île d’Orléans history. I was very impressed. Highly recommend!!!

The food here is INCREDIBLE! Simple and understated dishes done beautifully. It’s a delicious juxtaposition between home comfort food but with a Michelin star quality. We went in the off season (October) and enjoyed a 4 course dinner. The staff is really kind and personable. As Americans we didn’t feel out of place (as we have in other restaurants). I really can’t recommend this place enough. It’s definitely worth the drive and even going in the off season too.

I have visited this beautiful restaurant a couple of times and I’m always happy as soon as I come in. The food is so great and the servers are amazing and attentive. Few places on the island give me this homey feeling. The grandmothers recipe and the wines from Ile de Bacchus are unbeatable. What a great view.
