Starbucks

Restaurant

😐 Expensive than other starbuks in the town due to their location. Very busy and usually 10-15min wait on queue. Staff is really courteous and cool despite of such high volume of customers whole day. Ample of space to sit bit still not enough for the crowd around here. People often mention Starbucks, location, coffee, Staff,

Great Starbucks location to grab a drink and sit outside on the boardwalk and enjoy the beautiful view.

I can't imagine ever wanting to be a starbucks customer ever again, at any location, because of how disgustingly poor my experience was today. Not only did the employee at the til refuse to speak English to me, they also chose to continue talking to their coworkers instead of listening to me when I said they'd need to refill my gold card (like I asked) before I made my purchase. Then, I was told for my regular latte that it was over $8 and when I asked why, I was met with a rude comment to take it or leave it because the price is that way because of the hotel. Even at $5 the coffee is overpriced, but $8 for a coffee that was so burnt it tasted like an ashtray and so hot that with a sleeve and my glove on it was still too hot to hold... is a complete waste of time and money. I feel like leaving a bad review is nowhere near enough.

Located near the North East corner of the Fairmont Chateau Frontenac with inside access from the hotel as well as outside from Dufferin Terrace. Inside sitting area just off the entry within the hotel. Standard menu items common to other franchise locations. Staff were professional, friendly and bilingual. Perfect for a morning coffee while taking in the lovely views.

We had a very bad experience yesterday.. bought hot chocolate and two caramel machiato, and to be honest, it was horrible hot chocolate we ever had. Even the caramel machiato was also horrible.. My son just tried a sip, and he threw it away. The milk was too thin, and taste was horrible. It was the first time we tried Starbucks in canada. We are used to Tim Hortons, and it is way way better than this. We had from other location Starbucks and again was way better compared to Quebec city. We tried Starbucks only thinking they will have consistency across locations.

Location is perfect: one cashier for a line of 40+ people, service deadly slow, not necessarily the cleanest of the stores. I would get coffee somewhere else nearby in spite of loving Starbucks.

Ok. Not a place to sit. One staff was arrogant.

This starbucks is split into 2 sections. You enter from the street and you order on your right and the seats are on the left. The baristas will know english so don't worry if you can't say "Pumpkin Spice Laté" in French.

Worst Starbucks ever! Expensive than other ones. Staff is to busy to properly customize the order or accommodate request. Order caramel latte and was given milk with cream foam. They were least bothered to change or rectify it. They don’t even scan the card for points or offers.

The usual, cup not filled fully. Asked for less ice 2/3 of the Grande sized drink filled with ice. All drinks coming out of this location are half empty even after they add some ice to the cup.

Convenient spot to have coffee, strong wifi connection 👍 bit busy but the barista works really fast. Dont get surprise because the price is more expensive than other location 🙃

Staff was friendly but that’s about the only positive thing about this location. Overpriced and bad atmosphere. You’re paying a premium for the location but you’re completely cut off from the chateau, which is just weird. There is also very limited seating. You’re better off checking out one of the other local cafes.

I tried four times to get a coffee here, the line was always out the door and over a 1/2 hr wait. I really hate Starbucks too, very pretentious.

Most terrible Starbucks ever! It's located in Chateau Frontenac and that's just all there is to say about it. The service is terrible and the coffee even worse. I think there is a good reason why there are no Starbucks stores in the neigborhood.

Nice Starbucks store with a large and comfy seating area. Prices higher than usual.

While I was in line I saw the attendant were asking names for the orders. While it was my turn, she (Daphne I guess was her name) just asked what I wanted and if I need my receipt. She never asked for my name even when I gave her tip. It made me feel uncomfortable and uninvited. Never going back again.

Everything here is delicious. The staff was very nice, polite, and super-helpful. It gets very packed here during the summertime.

usually Starbucks for me is a place where you can work, but in this case it is not so, there is no place where you can charge your laptop, there is no wi-fi :( but the coffee is great and the staff is very friendly

Does NOT open at 7am but 7:30am. Please adjust your online hours. People plan entire mornings around you, the only coffee shop in the vicinity, being open.

Full Starbucks menu conveniently located in the Fairmont Hotel. The staff was friendly, and there was some seating available, so it was a nice warm place to take a break. You can pay with the app at this location and still get bonus stars/offers; if your card is loaded with a different currency the exchange rate is decent.

Visited multiple times to this location in October 2022. This location is a typical small Starbucks. Wish this one had a special mug for the historical location it is in, but they did have Canada+Quebec mugs and other items available for purchase. Restrooms (toilette) are located in the hotel and not as part of this Starbucks location. Good service, and coffee's received fairly quickly after ordering. Consistency across the company locations. Thank you.

Great service and friendly staff. Unfortunately you cannot collect Starbucks points at this location. Apparently because it is run by the Chateau Frontenac.

Pretty standard Starbucks. Nice to have familiarity in a place where every restaurant is different. You can count on a good coffee.

My review for this Starbucks location is pretty basic. It's basically order my drink and got what I needed. No issues at all! Staff was friend and did speak English. Also on another note, I did used my credit card at this location and the transaction is treated as a lodging type transaction for those credit cards that get bonus points on particular spend categories.

Too crowded and the place where you can sit doesn't have enough room for everyone. I am not sure, but it seems the prices are higher than a regular Starbucks.

Staff was polite but they dont do rewards or give you your birthday drink and its the only starbucks in the area by far so thats frustrating.

Incredibly slow wait times, and not typical Starbucks pricing. Tried to order a Frappuccino only to be told it's too close to closing. Ordered an ice coffee instead and they served 5 seperate parties(with multiple drinks) before me, all the while ensuring no one else could enter when anyone left. When I asked what took so long there was no explantion, other than "it happens". Asked for a refund and left, not going to patrionize a business that has no concern its customers.

👍 We were there for lunch and there was no lineup. We ordered the croissant sandwiches and coffee, both are freshly made. Highly recommend. Staff are very helpful to suggest food from the menu.
