Came here for dinner on our last night in Quebec and was underwhelmed. I wasn’t sure what to get so I ordered several appetizers, while my partner got the Coquille. The spicy shrimp was heavily battered, but nice and crispy and mild in spice. The Brie was delicious but the bread was pretty hard and tough, making it less pleasant to eat. The duck drumstick was very dry and rubbery. When I talked to the waitress about it, she told me that’s how they are. I’ve had my fair share of duck, so I was disappointed that this was the case for this menu item. The Coquille was pretty good, the bread that accompanied it was also dry and tough. The highlight of this meal for me was the drinks. The Grant’s redemption was delicious, the flavors weren’t overpowering and it wasn’t too sweet. The New York sour was like a whiskey sour topped with red wine

This was the best meal of our 5 day visit. Really great vibe, good service and delicious food. I had the Korean Short Rib that wasn't really a Korean cut, but rather one large rib that was braised to perfection and served on top of piping hot truffle mashed potatoes - yum! My husband had the duck leg which was cooked perfectly as well. We had the chomeur pudding with vanilla ice cream and it was also the favorite dessert of the trip. The gin mules we awesome too. We had early reservations (6pm) and our food was served very quickly, but this is the perfect place to linger for several hours over shared plates and drinks. Looking forward to going back.

This place looked cool and from the outside peeking into the windows it was definitely my style cocktails being poured at the bar. We sat at the bar and Remy our bartender poured amazing and delicious craft cocktails with the overall favorite being the Romeo & Juliet. The featured poutine for Poutine Week was so good the beef just fell off the bone. I'd recommend making a reservation because the whole place was filled. Definitely stop in and spend some time here! Great vibe and good music!

I gotta start off with the duck confit poutine. It's too die for, the duck is tender and delicate. Fresh cheese curds and the gravy oh my you could dunk crayons in it and be like wow that are tasty. If you like gin your gonna adore this place. They have like easily a hundred choices.

While I did not expect miracles given I was in the heart of the tourist area, I was intrigued with the menu. As a single diner, I don’t expect the best table, but the table I was given actually moved every time anyone walked by… mildly annoying, but got entertaining as the evening progressed. Reminded me of being put in the non-smoking seat in an airplane. The gin selection is unreal and I did very much enjoy the house gin. I wanted the carpaccio but it was already sold out; a good sign. The waitress suggested the brie. It was swimming in maple syrup but the overall flavour was pleasant. For my main, I was trying to decide between the coquille or the short ribs. The short ribs was recommended and I ordered: It was okay at best with the sauce being far too sweet; nothing the korean sauce it was described as. The sugar level made it almost inedible. But most disappointing was the cold and watery mash potatoes. I took photos as I was sure no one would believe me. The lightly sautéd veggies were probably my favourite part the meal… and the very pleasant waitress. Given the shear number of restaurants in this area, I don’t plan on going back. Not horrible, but when you order their signature plates, you expect perfection… at least great potatoes! Especially given the price. But I would definitely buy their gin to take home.

I ordered snails for appetizer, and New York Steak and Korean pork rib for main courses. Those were amazing!!! Even the season vegetables in the main courses were also delicious.👍🏽

Amazing. Ultra unassuming from the outside, this gem is gorgeous and modern on the interior. Offers a selection of over 200 gins, I have the one from Belgium - amazing stuff I can’t get at home. I had the burger, my friend had the victors sandwich, my wife had the soup & salad and we all were impressed and loved our lunch. The fries are killer, and the meat is high quality as well as all other ingredients. Friendly staff, this one wasn’t on my radar and should be on yours now!

Fantastic food and delicious, unique drinks. It’s delightful, without trying too hard. I had the Honolulu which was moist and flavourful. My partner had the pizza gedeon and even the crust was amazing. The service was great and the food came out quickly. The music was nice as well and the overall ambience was charming. Unassuming from outside it shouldn’t be missed!

Really tasty food and a cozy atmosphere! The service is a bit slower if you sit outside and it was a bit difficult to call over a waiter/waitress at times.

My husband and I had the Melting Brie for appetizers, and the Duck Confit and Korean Short Ribs. I don't remember the last time I had such exquisite tasting dinner where every dish tastes a 10/10! It was our last day at Quebec city as tourists and we are so glad we ended it with our dinner here. The Brie is in maple syrup, words can't describe how good it is!! We ended up paying $114 including tip for the meal, which is really very affordable for the meal, customer service and ambience.

Before going here, we were quite confused if it will be the right choice or not. But trust me, we loved it and you will not regret going to this restaurant. We had veg burger here which was served with salad and fries. It was so delicious and yummy. Generally I don’t eat burger, but I just loved it here. The staff was very kind and helpful. We had our pet and they allowed us with him. In fact, give him water to drink for 3 times. Best experience in Quebec🫶🏻

Had a great time here for our anniversary. We got the veggie burger with poutine and fish and chips. Both came with a delicious salad. The fish and chips came with both a great dill and tartar sauce. Our waitress was excellent as well.

One of the best bristos for views and refreshments on the main strip. Great selection of beverages but the duck poutine is ⭐⭐⭐ at best.

Love this place. Service was awesome, bartender was super friendly. The assortment of gins was very cool. Ordered the "Best cocktail ever", "Snowbird" and "Juliette" all delicious. Also tried out the gin flight - some great Quebec gins that really surprised me how much I liked them. Would definitely come back if I'm in the area.

We enjoyed the rustic comfortable atmosphere and the great service. The burgers were pretty good, the fries could have been crispier. Good fish and chips. Spicy shrimp wasn't actually spicy. Overall a good experience.

We had dinner there and enjoyed our time. The vibe and music were awesome, really set the mood. The food was tasty, though a tad pricey. They've got a good variety of drinks, especially gin and spirits. The staff was super friendly, but the service was a bit slow

We stopped in for a nightcap on our way back to our hotel. We had the pleasure of being served by Oliver, our bartender. Oliver was gracious, very knowledgeable and impressive in his knowledge of the craft. My husband ordered a Pimm's Cup and then asked Oliver to be creative and make him an Old Fashioned with gin instead of bourbon. He knocked it out of the park. We realize that it was close to closing time so the bar was quiet which gave Oliver the chance to be super attentive. Had it been a busier part of the day we may not have been able to enjoy the pleasure of his company as I'm sure he has a huge following. Oliver is a true craftsman who takes great pride in his work. We're so happy to have stopped in and can't wait to go back!

Such an awful place! Waited forever to be seated and for someone to take our order. The tables are cramped and the floor is dirty. A typical tourist trap. Not recommended.

Food was nice but was missing seasoning a bit. The cocktails were very good but the wine list is a bit small. I will go back to see if it gets better as the service was quick and good.

First time in Quebec city, all restaurants are booked, and we got lucky to get a table here for a group of 7. Pierre was an amazing host, fun sense of humor and excellent service! Merci Pierre for being also a great French tutor😁

Not so happy with experience and food. Was not even a busy day. Server served the food and we had to even keep waiting to get spoon and forks and had to ask again, resulted in food losing warmth as we were sitting outside. Quantity for the price sucked. I have never seen such small fish portion in fish and chips. Other items were even okay.

The food was ok. Nothing special. Service was lackluster. Tried to enjoy the AC/DC blaring over the speakers. I will not return

Food was good, atmosphere was nice with a great patio. Unfortunately we waited over 1.5 hours for our food after ordering. We were complemented with a free drink, but waiting this long can spoil an evening. The restaurant was not busy at the time so it’s assumed the order was forgotten about.

I have to say I was less then impressed with this place. Where do I begin?! Service was atrocious as I watched two servers and what I assumed was a manager taking drinks around and the bar area. Next our server ignored us at the beginning and then noticed I didn’t like the food- well I ordered duck wings maple and rosemary style and the Tuna Poke nachos. There was no rosemary in the sauce or on them and they were over cooked- any experienced cook should be able to cook duck wings and these were severely over cooked and fairly dry. The nachos were over cooked and I pulled two piles of over cooked almost burnt nachos off the plate. The only saving grace was the drinks were cold and the bartender looked like he knew what he was doing.

Very nice place to eat. Had to wait almost two hours for my food. But the chef was very nice and quick when he noticed that. Still had an amazing time there. Food was excellent. I love places that put customers satisfaction first. Definitely will be back for more

The food here is very good. The service was ok nothing special. I had a lobster roll and it was exquisite. Served on a red bun that looked like a lobster claw My wife had Hawaiian stirred fried rice that came in a half hollowed out pineapple 🍍. I would definitely return here.

The restaurant is located at a real busy spot, but they make it work, even outdoor seating. The interior is really nice designed. The food was really good and we loved every dish we ordered. The service was clearly overwhelmed by the many guests. They forgot my wife's order, and upon asking, they just said it would come in a minute. I do prefer honesty as it took 15 minutes, so they clearly forgot. Overall, it was very nice besides the mishap.

Great vibes and service! Music was not too loud and the patio was nice and breezy. In particular the beef tartare over bone marrow was a nice touch. Would highly recommend

Wonderful find! Stopped in on a Monday evening in July, around 8pm, after being turned away from ten other restaurants who were fully booked. We were seated on the patio and felt welcomed and comfortable. We ordered the Livernois Coquille (classic French Coquille St Jacques) and the Korean Short Rib. Both were excellent and we would order them again. Portions were large enough to satisfy and not over the top. What you would expect from a French bistro for a hearty meal. The Coquille had a light seafood taste, the ingredients were distinct to enjoy and brought together baked in a lovely sauce and au gratin. The Korean short rib was a surprise, not a typical Korean cut, rather a big piece of boneless rib flavoured with Korean influences. A melt in your mouth, perfectly cooked, braised beef rib experience. One of the best beef ribs I’ve had in years!

Such great food, the patio is in prime Quebec, the interior is superbly decorated and creates a really nice vibe. First restaurant I’ve been to with multiple bathrooms all being gender neutral with a shared sink area. The escargot was really great, poutine came cold at first but without even complaining to the staff another hot poutine was brought with the comment that the chef believed the poutine may not be warm enough, so we had a second free poutine to make up for that cold first one, that has to be the best customer service and chefs mannerism I may have ever experienced! So highly recommend.

If you like Gin, this is the place to go. Stopped here a couple of times while walking around. We sat in the bar both times. It was quiet other than the staff coming in and out for bar orders for dinner tables.

Run!… Don’t walk… to Maison Livernois for their Limoncello Gelato! Order two and thank me later. This dessert is to die for. The rest of our meal was very good too, but the dessert is phenomenal! Great ambiance and good service too.

The food was great, it just took a while to come. The duck wings, brie and spicy shrimp were amazing. The drink quinnoia was delicious! I would go here again. The bill was about $403 for 5 people.
