While
I
did
not
expect
miracles
given
I
was
in
the
heart
of
the
tourist
area,
I
was
intrigued
with
the
menu.
As
a
single
diner,
I
don’t
expect
the
best
table,
but
the
table
I
was
given
actually
moved
every
time
anyone
walked
by…
mildly
annoying,
but
got
entertaining
as
the
evening
progressed.
Reminded
me
of
being
put
in
the
non-smoking
seat
in
an
airplane.
The
gin
selection
is
unreal
and
I
did
very
much
enjoy
the
house
gin.
I
wanted
the
carpaccio
but
it
was
already
sold
out;
a
good
sign.
The
waitress
suggested
the
brie.
It
was
swimming
in
maple
syrup
but
the
overall
flavour
was
pleasant.
For
my
main,
I
was
trying
to
decide
between
the
coquille
or
the
short
ribs.
The
short
ribs
was
recommended
and
I
ordered:
It
was
okay
at
best
with
the
sauce
being
far
too
sweet;
nothing
the
korean
sauce
it
was
described
as.
The
sugar
level
made
it
almost
inedible.
But
most
disappointing
was
the
cold
and
watery
mash
potatoes.
I
took
photos
as
I
was
sure
no
one
would
believe
me.
The
lightly
sautéd
veggies
were
probably
my
favourite
part
the
meal…
and
the
very
pleasant
waitress.
Given
the
shear
number
of
restaurants
in
this
area,
I
don’t
plan
on
going
back.
Not
horrible,
but
when
you
order
their
signature
plates,
you
expect
perfection…
at
least
great
potatoes!
Especially
given
the
price.
But
I
would
definitely
buy
their
gin
to
take
home.
