Namaste Yoga in Montreal, located on René-Lévesque Boulevard E, a few steps from our Airbnb, deserves a rave review. The owner was sweet and friendly. Although she is not very experienced, we were happy that she was trying to teach yoga to someone from the birthplace of yoga! Bravo for this remarkable effort! Her dedication and passion for yoga is palpable, and it's a joy to see someone so committed to sharing this valuable practice. Despite her lack of experience, she created a warm and welcoming atmosphere for practitioners of all levels. We are grateful to have been able to participate in her classes and to be inspired by her determination to promote yoga in Montreal. Ma favourite yoga studio ever, and i've tried many in town. I like that they give classes in the morning and at lunch time. Their classes are very diverse and you'll be sure to find one to suit your style.

Magnifique! I was traveling for work from the US, and I emailed the night before to see if I could just drop in - I did not have a “Mind/Body account”. They emailed back right away and welcomed me to the studio the next day! I arrived 10 minutes early, filled out my email and name, and they gave me my first class free - even though I don’t live in the area. Amazing. That has never happened before when I do yoga while traveling. The class is, of course, fully in French, the official language of Quebec, and since I do not speak French, the instructor was very kind to check on me periodically to confirm I felt comfortable and knew what was going on. The class was absolutely wonderful and restorative. I learned a lot, even with the language naïveté! I would HIGHLY recommend. Incredibly nice people and a wonderful class - even have free tea waiting for you. SO lovely. I will go back for sure!! Best way to end a stressful work trip.

I was able to take advantage of a first free trial class and discover acro-yoga with a caring teacher who was very precise in her explanations. Hot herbal tea available at the entrance to the studio. It’s a small, dimly lit place (half basement), but it’s a great discovery!

Very nice studio! Adapts very well to virtual mode and the teachers are pleasant, diverse and allow you to adapt your practice. It is possible to do lessons at the same time at home, it's motivating!
