A warm welcome awaits anyone coming to visit this lovely historic church in the heart of Old Quebec City. Worship services in English on Sunday morning in English at 11:15 a.m. with congregation of Chalmers-Wesley United Church (at 9 a.m. in French with the congregation of Église Unie Saint-Pierre). The church is open to visitors during the week from the end of June to mid-October ( hours vary). Free Musical Wednesday concerts every Wednesday at noon from the end of June to the end of August (donations welcomed).

Small post-Covid congregation about 30. Traditional service in English. Pastor from Kenya, very nice fellow. We were warmly welcomed and made to feel comfortable.

GO IN AND TALK TO MARK! We stumbled upon a sign leading us to this church on a Friday morning, and it was raining, so we went in mostly to get dry. I was just expecting a quick look around and then to continue on, but then MARK the all-around awesome guide appeared like a genie, so we asked him a question. And from there got an extremely interesting half hour or so of fascinating conversation with Mark, about the building itself and its architecture, Martin Luther, the Reformation, the Anglican Church in Canada. You name it, Mark probably knows it, including the weather report (which he revised, accurately, for us, enabling us to enjoy the rest of our day. Thanks Mark). The best part is that this wholly unexpected discussion, and entry, was totally free. He also has tips on where to go to find more unique, off-the-beaten path places like this church. So....if you're in town and want a delightful and educational experience, go here, and hopefully Mark will be working that day.
