A nice jaunt on the Saint Lawrence. Rather touristy but you get great views of the whole of Quebec City and Chateau Frontenac from the river and the staff is friendly. FYI you don’t get as close to the waterfall as the promotional photos might make you believe (see un-zoomed photo). Another good option (if you don’t care about the audio commentary) is take the ferry to Levis and take photos of Quebec city from that side.

We had an amazing experience. We got to see alot of whales . Trip went smooth. People were respectful and staff was very helpful. It was hard to social distance with so many people onboard. Bring a warm coat, it gets really cold on water. We took the grand fleuve from tadoussac. It you are driving from Quebec city then please give yourself an hour or two extra time. It gets really busy and you can get stuck in a long line up for people getting on the ferry.

Do not take their cruise because our journey was ruined!! We drove 300+ km from Quebec city to take the cruise on Friday but the ship was broken. They promised to call back to offer refund but we waited until Wednesday without receiving response at all. We had to call them, but the manager told us not only zero compensation for our time and economic loss, but also no refund could be given. The company is not responsible or trustworthy. Take our lesson.

Get the VIP package! It's worth it! It's a comfortable space, with drinks, a snack box and a private view platform. The crew was helpful and knowledgeable about the animals we saw. Would definitely recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the AML Cruise in Quebec, and I must say it was an absolutely unforgettable adventure. This tour took us on a journey to discover the breathtaking Montmorency Falls, explore the charming Quebec City, and witness the magnificent bridge that spans the St. Lawrence River. From start to finish, this tour was a fantastic blend of natural beauty, history, and world-class service. One of the standout features of the AML Cruise was undoubtedly their "red carpet" service. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that they truly know how to make their customers feel like stars. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every guest had a memorable experience. From a warm welcome to personalized assistance, it was clear that they were dedicated to creating a memorable and comfortable experience for all. The tour itself was well-organized and informative, with knowledgeable guides who shared fascinating insights into the history and culture of the region. The Montmorency Falls were absolutely stunning, and being able to get up close to the cascading waterfalls was an experience I'll never forget. Quebec City, with its charming streets, rich history, and European ambiance, was a delight to explore, and the AML Cruise provided ample time to soak in the sights and flavors of this beautiful city. The boat ride was another highlight of the tour. The professional service on board was impeccable. The crew members were courteous, attentive, and always ready to assist. The breathtaking views of the St. Lawrence River and the Quebec City skyline from the water added an extra layer of magic to the experience. While the majority of the staff were exceptional, there was a minor hiccup with the front desk lady. She seemed a bit crude in her interactions with guests. However, this was a small blemish on an otherwise outstanding experience. The professionalism and warmth exhibited by the rest of the team more than made up for it. In conclusion, my AML Cruise to Montmorency Falls, Quebec City, and the bridge was an exceptional adventure filled with beauty, history, and top-notch service. The "red carpet" treatment truly made me feel like a star, and the dedication of the staff to ensuring a memorable experience was evident throughout the tour. Despite the minor issue with the front desk, I wholeheartedly recommend AML Cruise for anyone seeking a remarkable and enriching experience in Quebec. This tour is a shining example of how to showcase the best of a destination while treating guests with the utmost care and attention.

This review is based on the extremely poor level of Customer Service received by Croisieres AML. I do not recommend making any sort or reservation. I made a reservation a month and a half away. I called within 24 hours of making the reservation to change it. This was the response I got from Croisieres AML Customer Service: “Our sales are final, non-transferable, and non-refundable. Since it is financed by the governement, we cannot change the date either.” This is not customer service. A reservation system that is not even the slightest bit flexible is useless and shouldn’t be offered. I will never deal with this company again. I recommend avoiding Croisieres AML at all cost, or it might be a very expensive mistake, as you will be left with a reservation you can’t use.

We did a sightseeing afternoon ride. We were able to get a decent seat inside the boat with a good view. The boat has enough inside area that you could go if it is raining. Theres a bar, gift shop, and bathrooms onboard. They offered snacks (popcorn, ice cream, nachos) and drinks (mimosa, wine, whiskey, beer, etc.). The tour essential sails to the falls and back. It is very scenic and nice. The speakers were kind of loud with the host speaking. They speak French and English during the tour to explain the areas.

It was a very bad experience. What happened made me won't go to this place again. We booked the trip at 4pm on Friday, and after going through all the formalities and waiting for more than half an hour, we were told that the zodiac was broken. The staff said the person in charge was off duty, so they couldn't make any decisions and only gave us two options: 1. Rescheduled for the next day. 2. Leave contact details (they promise someone will contact us on Monday with a satisfactory solution). Since we have to return to Toronto the next day, we can only choose to leave our number. After waiting for two days, no one contacted us. We called in on Wednesday, and their staff asked us to reschedule the cruise. After speaking with the manager, she said that she could only allow us to postpone to the next year. If I want to apply for a refund, I have to contact other departments, but she can't guarantee the refund. When I asked to speak with their Customer Service or higher authorities, she told me Customer Service are off for the day(it was 3pm when I called in) and she is the only one in charge. I was so disappointed. I am not the only one in such a situation, as a company that provides services, they did not have a positive attitude to solve the problem. They don't treat their customers fairly!

5 stars all the way. Terrific value. Our 90 minute tour along the St Lawrence River couldn't have been better. We enjoyed great weather and lovely scenery. Our guide, David, showered us with tons of information and really helped us understand all that Quebec City was about. Thanks again for a great guided tour. Andrew

We did the Signature Dinner Cruise. Spendy, but well worth the price. Ask for a port side (left side) window seat when you make the reservation. The boat heads north after departure, so this will put you on the west side, facing the sunset, and it is SPECTACULAR. The food and service was amazing. You can get up and walk around the whole boat. They have a live musician during dinner and they have dancing on the lower level with a DJ. Tips are included.

I experienced river shuttle with AML group from Quebec to saint anne de beaupre. I wanted to thank them because of their customer service. Although we arrived 5 mins late and missed the shuttle, they transferred our tickets for next opportunity. Appreciate it. The trip itself was magnificent, experienced Quebec-beaupre through road before, but this time via this shuttle was a unique experience.

Best cruises. Best service. I booked for the quebec tour and the service was amazing. The food and drinks are available on the cruise. Will suggest to bring own food and drinks and hop on since it's little expensive on boat and also enjoy the view.

We came all the way from Toronto to do a whale watching cruise in Tadoussac on the zodiac boat which costs 234$+ 18$ parking . The ship captain was a very very young female who probably was unable to show us not even a single whale. Very rude and non interactive staff. Uncomfortable seats on the boat, with not even a sight of any whale. When asked at the counter that no whale was seen, they gave us another option of either going again on the same day( which is not feasible because we drove 3.5 hours from quebec city back n forth) or just take a day cruise in big ship at quebec city, or montreal. Very disappointed with these money grabbers who guarantee whale watching on their website whereas in actual we n 10 other passengers on that zodiac boat DID NOT see any whales or sea mammals. Atleast they should have provided us tickets for the next season. Really sad and disappointed. Will never book with them again

Do NOT use this tour group! We were not told how to get to board and had to wander around till we found it. The boat was over sold. The bus was a disaster! The bus driver was tried to leave people behind and turned on the heat when it was 90 on the bus. We paid for Canyon trip but they didn't give us tickets for it! It was poorly run and I cannot recommend. Oh and they ran out of lunches...

Great whale watching cruise! Saw 4 different types of whales and the narrator was great and very informative.

This experience was awesome, the afternoon ride allows you to see more whales. Arrive early because there will be a line up and you may have to park up the hill so wear comfy shoes. Parking is $5.

Amazing.. Got to watch atleast 15 whales. They didn't came all the way out because of our boat timing but it was still worth it. I went on 4 PM boat The 1 PM is much recommended as the boat captain said there were many whales that time, and they came out But any boat you go its worth it.

Warm greeting by the helpful staff who kept our safety at the top of their list of priorities, especially when it rained and the deck at the bow became dangerous. Great, informative tour from the very pleasant guide. Would definitely recommend this round-trip tour from Old Quebec to the Montmorency Falls.

overall a positive experience but basically ruined by the end of the tour. We were the last boat to start the tour and the first to go back to dock, for no apparent reason. we could see the other boats in the distance around a group of whales breaching and jumping as we left - something we hadn't seen yet on the tour - and everyone just watching them disappear while the other boats enjoyed - heartbreaking. what an awful end to an otherwise excellent experience.

The best cruise I have ever had. Great ship, and great customer service and an amazing guide. Best views of Quebec city and Montmorrency Falls. All staff were helpful, nice and smiling. It is a must-do cruise if visiting Quebec. Would definitely go back again
