Beautiful view from the corner of the island. Little bit of history is also explained about the island. When i went (end of fall season) it was not crowded at all. Plenty of parking available at the site. Restrooms are also available (clean). Beautiful scenery from top, middle and at the end of the tower. All the information/details are explained in both languages (English and French) If anyone go for a drive to the island for the first time, this a "must go"

Nice place for a short stop on the north of the island. Walk up the observatory to the top and get a wonderful of the whole area. You can get some great pictures. There’s a nice little playground if you have kids. And when I was there, there was a food truck that looked like it had decent food (hamburgers etc). Best of all, it also has a decent toilet.

It's a free attraction and if you're making a loop around the island it's worth a quick stop to climb the observation tower. The 360 ° views are stunning. Make sure to have your camera or phone, the climb up the stairs are worth the views.

Lovely wooden tower allowing beautiful view of the Orleans Island and St-Lawrence river. The small park also has washroom facility and picnic tables. It’s completely free but a donation box is attached at the entrance of the tower. Highly recommend!

The watch tower is a quick stop to watch the island and waters. The place has good toilets. Consider wearing a good jacket and watch out your hat as it gets quite windy and cold at that height. Great photography location. Also has plenty of parking. No tickets required!

Fantastic and a very calming place to go; all the way to the end of the island. It has beautiful picturesque views that can be seen from the observation tower. Keep in mind it has a bunch of stairs so might not be perfect for elderly; it has ample parking and clean washrooms etc. so works as a perfect stop after a long drive. Highly recommended in your Quebec City itinerary. All times work as it hasn’t been much crowded.

Wooden tower to get a better view of the island the the river. Did not expect the colorful trees, totally surprising.

If you're in the area then it's worth stopping for the views, but don't go too far out of your way for it. A nice view of the river.

It was too windy but nice!

Unique and free location with 3 levels in tower to stop and look out. Highlight is the top tower with full map of area that shows names of mountains and islands. I didn’t realize the number of islands around this location (appreciate including English with French information). Such a lovely setup to see the entire island that I had to make a donation so others can continue to enjoy it.

i went out weekday morning, it had no ppl there, it is a great place to see the town and MOnt st Anne, not big place, no need too much time

Fun, quick stop. The wood structure is impressive being so tall it sways slightly in the wind. Leave a donation so the tiny village next door can keep it from swaying too much! Kids loved running up to the top.

A great tower view viewpoints of both sides of the island. Excellent toilet facilities and a park area with swings. It was pretty busy but everyone was pretty accommodating for photos, selfies, etc. A must do if you’re in the area.

Nice place to get a good look at the landscape! You need to be able to do quite a few stairs though. The view is still good if you can make it only half way up.

Excellent viewpoint of the St Lawrence, and back over Ile-de-Orleans. You can also see Mt St Anne. There is a nice map at the top pointing out the landmarks. Signs at the bottom are only in French.

Nice pit stop along the route around Ile d'Orleans. Good climb with a beautiful view up the St Lawrence. Bathrooms and vending machines conveniently on site.
