I like the trails, it's really cool, especially the moss, love it so much, and you can find quite bunch of different mushrooms, and maybe lucky to meet the cute bird :) It is great view on the top, can see lots mountains in layers! Suggest to park your car in middle of the mountain, and hike to the top by forest trail, come back from the road, so your knees won't get too much burden.

Before heading to the center/entrance, a guy was guiding traffic to parking on the side and I did see a lots of car parking there. Being told the parking was full. There will be a school bus to carry you to the center. The procedure doesn’t make any sense to me, and I chose to go head and found there has tons of space for parking out the center. Also how can the people want to go to some trails without driving as the school bus only drop off at the center. The trails have lots of fun, some are good for the family and you can find the details on the map. I was expecting to look more colours this time, maybe need wait for another 2 weeks. Outlook was amazing!

On Victoria Day, we went to Secteur Franceville and nobody was present at the gate to check tickets (you can just drive in and start hiking). We have the yearly passes so that worked out. It was very clean (bathrooms, eating benches etc). All trails start from the same spot so you enter, park, start to walk and then break out into your trail options! Stunning lookouts. Well worth it. You can even see the observatory from this Secteur.

Mont-Megantic is a beautiful and huge park with so much to explore! Staff people are knowledgeable and ready to educate us! Program are good and the facilities are excellent. There are several different areas in this huge park -- so plan carefully in advance.

Fantastic ECHO cabins for winter use. Good hiking trails and not too far from Montreal for a weekend getaway.

Great place for a family weekend getaway. There are many hiking trails, the opportunity to climb the mountains by bike or car. There is an observatory on the territory of the park, I recommend buying tickets in advance. It is also RECOMMENDED to take with you an increased supply of food and water. At the top of the mountains, you can feed the birds that will sit on your hand. De and were delighted. Blueberry berries are ideal for birds.

another gem Quebec has to offer, beautiful spot in the summer to stargaze. The observatory tends to have events for this, so make sure to plan around it! There’s several trails, one that takes you to the observatory itself, try to arrive early for that one as the loop takes a significant amount of time. Otherwise there are other loops to different viewpoints, that offer amazing views of the surroundings. Must visit park in Quebec!

There are trails for everybody, from easy to more difficult ones, from a walk in a park to up 6-8 hours/ 10-15 km long with ups and downs, with forest or great views while on the peaks. There is also a camping site and an observatory that could be accessed by car for an extra fee. A little far from MTL, you wouldn't want to go there every weekend, 2-3 hours depending on traffic. Bring water and snacks with you, refill your tank no later than Sherbrooke. There will not be too many gas stations after that.

Had booked camping for 2 nights in the Neptune cabin. Check-in time is 5pm and check-out is 12 pm. We reached around 6pm and was pitch dark. Had no difficulty getting to our cabin as we already received an email mentioning not to follow the GPS route and were given clear instructions. Got to the cabin and was really impressed with the design and how efficiently the space was utilized to plan a kitchen cum dining, bedroom and a bath. The place including the bathroom was spotlessly clean when we walked in. The kitchen is well equipped with all the essentials utensils and equipment along with enough cleaning supplies. The cabin also had some wood for lighting with fire starter and matchboxes. There is provision for an indoor fireplace as well as outdoor. We hoped to have a clear sky and enjoy some star gazing, however, it was cloudy and snowing throughout our stay. There are pamphlets kept off the hiking trails (French only was there). However, at the information center, there was a very helpful person who guided us on various paths. We did a small hike and totally enjoyed our trails. It was a lovely cozy time in the cabin and we felt very relaxed.

Just adding my review as an FYI so people know that the park entrance has a visitor center where you can pay for the park access/pass to enter the mountain. There's also another building that has shower and toilet access. They have nearby campings that are several km from the parking. Final note is that the mountain does close at night (like 6:30pm or sunset). I believe you need reservations for that access.

Hidden gem just over the US-Canada border of northern New Hampshire & northwest Maine. Well worth the ride, rolling countryside and scenic vistas abound. Night sky viewing is spectacular as the districts around there Park have strict light pollution laws that are protective of the night sky. Wish parks, towns & municipalities in the US could be this well managed. Would go back in a heartbeat!

A wonderful view of the night sky from this dark sky preserve. So glad that we booked a cabin for the night because it was quite cold in a tent the following day. The necessities were provided, from wood to fire starter and two comfortable muskoka chairs!

Why have such a beautiful place to see but not touch. What do mean the access to this lake is limited we found two places. 1. You have to pay. 2. City Park Limited parking and very small beach area. Why not make the lake available to all?!

Excellent place for backcountry camping and hiking, or just sitting back and enjoying the captivating scenery.

Get there early! Before 9 am and you'll have a decent parking space. We stayed at a refuge (mont saint Joseph) and it was perfect! Privacy is a little difficult at the refuge until sunset because it's on a trail with a lot of traffic.
