Incredible experience! The dinner was a 9 course meal, consisting of a soup+bread to start, followed by 3 appetizers, 3 main dishes, and 3 desserts. We also chose the wine pairing option, which went well with each course. Our waiter, Christopher, was amazing, and guided us to our table slowly. He explained everything thoroughly, making sure we were all set and guiding us along the way. The food was incredible, and it was a blast trying to figure out what we were eating! It really encourages you to use your smell and all of your taste buds to decipher what you were eating! We did pretty well guessing most of the items, but there were definitely some that we were way off. It got us to try new things that we may not have tried before. Afterwards, we were guided back out to the main lobby, where the chef explained everything to us in great detail. Overall a wonderful experience, and highly recommend if you get the chance!

Interesting experience. Eating in the total dark is a unique experience. At least one lifetime experience. Better in small group of 4. Also, if there is something you defenetly don't want to eat, let the server know since the whole experience is to know what you ate only after you have eaten it.

On May 8th, a friend and I decided to go on a foodie adventure. This restaurant in Québec City, Ô6e Sens, invites patrons to come in and let their non-sight senses guide them in a journey of culinary exploration. Whenever the servers came to our table they would announce that they were there before anything else. This was really nice because it never felt like you were being sneaked up on. After a while, we actually got really good at knowing where our servers were just based on the sound of their footsteps! And they were all so patient with us. Every little thing was explained, they used sound and touch to let us know where our utensils, napkins, water and food were, and when we didn’t follow their instructions properly they remained completely professional and very courteous. OH! Something completely unexpected happened when, after our main course, our server asked us if we wanted some surprise shots. We didn’t know what he was talking about, so he explained the concept. Basically, there’s a bunch of shots with weird names and you just sort of pick one and hope for the best. The names were: Creamy, After Eight, Cerveau (Brain), Salaud (Bastard) and Spicy. We chose Creamy and Cerveau, because why the heck not. I’m not going to tell you anything about them, other than this: When this is offered to you, DO IT. It was so much fun! Neither of us had any idea what to expect, and no way of knowing what was in it until after we drank it. It’s basically a minigame within the larger game concept of this restaurant. What can I say about the food without giving too much away? It was delicious, but I also got to try things I wouldn’t have otherwise. Nothing gross, their intention isn’t to trick you, but because I couldn’t see it before tasting it, I didn’t limit myself and say: no, I don’t think I’ll try that. It was very freeing. Plus it was a fun challenge to try to identify which spice was the star of the show. I think I got 2/6 right. Yikes. The chef came out and showed us everything that we had eaten, along with a few fun facts on how certain things were made. It was really funny to see how wrong we had been, and really encouraging when we had guessed something correctly! This was a fantastic experience, and I will definitely be returning in 6-8 weeks when they’ve changed up their menu again. It was such a fun and tasty adventure as it was, and we were absolutely blown away by the phenomenal service offered by our servers and the chef. Everyone went out of their way to make this a positive experience and that was the proverbial cherry on top.

Dinner was fabulous! Very unique experience for our 20th Anniversary dinner. Our server Florinda was phenomenal. She even sang a song for us. Highly recommend everyone try this at least once. We would definitely go back again. It would be fun with another couple.

This is probably my favorite restaurant in Quebec. The experience of only being able to touch and taste your food, paired with the exceptional service ( our waitress Florinda was more than amazing) is simply amazing. Portions are great and well paced. Everyone is so kind and funny and the menu changes often so you can come once or twice a year and get to taste new things. There's nothing like it in this city and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who isn't afraid of the dark !

My friend and I really enjoyed our experience at this restaurant. It was truly one of a kind. Once you enter the room, you don’t see a single thing, I thought it would be a room with low-dimmed lights but it was pitch black, which made the experience much more unique. I appreciated the fact that the waiters were blind people, you don’t see that anywhere else. Last but not least, the food was good overall but the quality of it was not exceptional. You’re really paying for the experience and not so much for the quality of the food. The cocktails were bomb though. And the attention was A++++. Would definitely recommend to friends and family, and I would also like to come back someday!

[Spoiler Alert] It’s my 4th time there and my first time being disappointed. 1 out of 3 of the appetizers, 1 out of 3 of the main dishes and all the deserts were subpar for the 6e sens and the price tag. I don’t go to this kind of establishment for a beet salad, vanilla ice cream, crème brûlée or a beaver tail. I also miss their monthly themes. The concept and the staff remain great, I’m just sad to see that the new chefs may not be up to par with the chef who quit last Spring.

Great experience discovering food from only taste, aroma and texture. Our server, Bridgette, was fantastic.

Such a great experience! The food is delicious and the waiters very kind. Everything is perfect for a dinner with a friend or a bunch of friends. It is good to know that the dining room is completely in the dark and the waiters are blind. During the dinner you're trying to find out what you're eating and after they show you what it was. I sincerely recommend this to everyone that have the opportunity to go there! Also a great thing is that the adjust the menu that they're giving if there are some food restrictions. Incredible experience!!

Amazing. It was definitely something I would call a 5 star experience. You are in absolute darkness and cannot see your hands in front of your face. That means no one can see you either and you can just forget everything and relax and enjoy the food. It's more expensive than most meals but I took my fiance there for her birthday and she loved it. Highly recommend for special occasions. Also all of the waiters and waitresses are blind, which is kind of nice.

The best experience I had in the Capital City. Eating in the dark was surely the best to appreciate the food. The customer service was really the best. The social experience was overwhelming.
