I travel for business to Quebec City 4-5 times a year for a week at a time. I have been staying at the same hotel in ste foy for over 7 years and have been very happy. The loft ste Joseph was a game changer. I’m a very loyal customer, however sometimes changes is a great thing. Note that you will not get the same services you do from a hotel, such as daily cleaning, free coffee and tea, room service, new towels etc. So if that’s what you’re looking for, it’s not the right place for you and you shouldn’t remove a star because of that. What you will find here is an extremely clean loft/apartment. The one I stayed in had two bedrooms, a curtain as opposed to a door which I believe is a law in Quebec, if no windows are in a room you cannot have a fixed door. Again, not a big deal. You get a full kitchen, this one was similar to my house, and large living room as well. The only issue I had, the L shaved sofa was extremely fashionable but lacked comfort by a long shot. Again not a deal breaker but when you get back from work it’s nice to be cozy watching TV. The bathroom was absolutely great, something you’d find in a home but not a hotel. Large bath, fashionable and fully working windowed shower. I found a hidden secret. On the fourth floor, you will find a stairway that leads to a wonderful terrace of which you will have a 200 degree view of Quebec City. During the day you will see mountains and at night a beautiful city scape. I have no idea if the pricing will last forever but right now you can get a loft like the one I just described for the same or less than a standard comfort inn style hotel room. You’d be crazy not to stay here for a night or heck a week like I did! You also have to note that you will find dozens of great pubs, restaurants, grocery store and a liquor commission steps away. You won’t need to use your car. I found a scary but nonetheless parking lot about 4 minute walk away. $10 a day which to me is more than affordable. Hope my review helps you. I will most likely go back soon.

Great space and location. The neighborhood gets a bit strange at night but lots of food options and close toost.important things. Make sure to remember to reserve your parking spot before the trip.

No Central AC!!! Only one small Wall-mounted AC in a 1100 sqft 2 bedroom unit… rooms are hot as hell!!! Had to kept windows all open while sleeping with huge noise from street outside… really disappointed, never going back again.

Pros: The rooms are large and modern and the place is centrally located, parking is relatively cheap, and kitchenette is well appointed. This would be a good option for groups/families requiring more than 1 hotel room, less so for a couple or a solo traveller. If you do stay here, book directly through the company, not a third party site. We booked a night in QC on a whim 5 hours in advance and I used hotwire bc the price was the same as a normal hotel room and I liked the idea of a larger space. I arrived at 4:30 and had not received a confirmation code to access the building and room. It was explained to me that my credit card info was required for the security deposit. I had the cc form sent to me at tht point and it was resolved with several emails within 5 minutes. However, I still had not received my access code and had not been able to make a parking reservation. This took another 20 minutes of speaking to multiple people through the intercom and phone, each of whom did try to help but it took a very long time to provide me the access code and make the parking reservation and I was standing outside the entire time in 30c heat while 9 months pregnant. Cons: There is one air conditioner for the entire unit that has almost 15 ft ceilings and it is just blowing air rather than cooling the unit, which is sweltering today. We can't open the windows at night bc we are on the ground level and the garbage cans are directly under our window. There is no window in the bedroom which is startling but the lack of door must mean that the unit is legally considered to be a studio, hence no need for a bedroom window. ?? The parking lot area is very sketchy. For the amount we paid I would've preferred to be in a small air conditioned room with secure parking rather a large hot room worrying that my back windshield is going to be smashed and baby seat stolen. Bring conditioner for the shower as there isn't any provided.

Loads of space and lovely decor. Nice open concept and freshly updated. Really nice. Only suggestion would be a little better lighting over sink in both the kitchen and bathroom. But we would go back in a heart beat!

Parking is two blocks away so be prepared to carry your bags down a busy street. The air conditioners in both bedrooms did not work. They sent us a message late in the afternoon saying our checking was delayed. With no notice or compensation The bathroom door could only be unlocked from the outside. One bedroom only has a curtain as a door so noise travels from the living room.Aside from all of these points the place was very clean beautiful and spacious.

The lofts are very nice, the only problem is that it's only 1 bathroom, so, a war every night and morning for the bathroom, but everything else, are very nice

We are a family of 10 who rented 2 Lofts during the Winter Carnival last weekend and cannot say enough about how great these lofts were. Extremely spacious, fully equipped with everything imaginable, very modern, comfortable and so close to downtown. We had a few questions and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. One of the best places we have ever stayed as a family. We HIGHLY Recommend them!!!

Great location in a very convenient neighborhood right beside the train station offering many convenient stores and restaurants. 10 -15 minute walk from all of Old Quebec including most touristy sites. Space was huge and worked well for our family. Highly recommended.

Had the two bedroom loft. Room was huge, full kitchen and laundry within the room. Walk to downtown Old Quebec was less than 10 minutes, though it was steep uphill. Great area. St Joseph St has a lot to look at on it's own.

The place is not kept up with. Very childish customer service, they were mad at me for not reporting broken appliances until after I left, turns out it’s been broken for months. They don’t care. It was also crazy hot inside in March, thermostats don’t work.

This place was awesome! Me and my husband booked a loft here for a weekend getaway for his birthday. Being from the country is was so cool to feel like we lived in the city for a few nights. The space is very clean and modern. The original brick walls that are exposed in the loft make for a very unique cozy feel. The only thing we disliked was the parking... it's kinda hard to get to even though it's right behind the building because of all the one way streets. But all in all its a beautiful place and is close to lots of good restaurants and a short walk from old quebec.

Beautiful modern with a touch of history. No art needed as the wall was the art. Great location for walk to Old Quebec and the grocer. View from the roof terrace fantastic. Looses 5 star as we called twice for bedding for fold out bed and never saw or heard from the host during our 4 night stay.

Really nice location with a nice terrace to round off the evening. Right across from a couple of great restaurants. Highly recommended. Deducted a star since some shared rooms don't have doors or a screen.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, the toilet in the hotel is broken, the toilet door cannot be opened and the toilet cannot be used. Calling customer service will never solve the problem, and you will never find the manager of the hotel.

Room was unprepared, with broken kettle and dirty cutlery. We ended up staying to another sub branch named Dorchester, which fortunately was quite better.

I like to call Les Lofts my home away from home. I love their concept, their lay-outs, the decor and the comfortable beds. But my last 2 visits have been disappointing. This particular time, we had no coffee filters and after being promised that someone would bring some by, we didn't go buy any. When we got back (at 11pm) that evening, not only had the person not brought the right thing (they brought a basket instead of coffee filters), but our room door was left unlocked. We were gone from 9 am to 11 pm and had valuables in the unit. Luckily nothing was missing, but it's still very unsettling.... especially since the administation's response was basically shrugging it off. Also, my duvet was ripped, the coffee machine was dirty, the a\c wasn't working well (it was 25C in my room) and there was no hair conditionner (I usually bring my own, but for a 2 night getaway, and knowing they usually have, I didn't bother). All small details that would probably have been left unmentionned, but when you pay about 800$ for 2 nights and come back to an unlocked door that is shrugged off, it just all adds up. 2 stars is for their nonchallence. Hoping they upgrade their standards. For someone looking to stay here, make sure to bring anything you might need. Location is great and unit is spacious, so it's a good choice nonetheless.

Very close to everything you want to see in the city, only used public transport for the waterfall. We had a very clean and pretty apartment. The kitchen is well equipped, with sharp knives and everything you need, so perfect for cooking with grocery's from the metro only 2min away by foot.

Great location close to many shops and restaurant. We stayed for a week and the loft is fully furnished but for a family of four it was a bit limit but still enough to be functional. The loft was spacious, beds and couches was confortable. Parking is right behind the loft, so very convenient. On the downside the neighborhood is a bit sketchy at times but not the Lofts fault. We still felt extremely safe. We will book at the Lofts next time we go back to QC city!!
