Let's start by saying I realise this is only a 3 star hotel and we stayed in a basic "Classic room" but it really was a bit disappointing. The bedroom itself was ok, small but functional. But we were there three nights and cleaners never came. The worst bit was the bathroom. The shower head wasn't adjustable and sprayed everywhere. There was also no drain in the bathroom. For the first shower we didn't realise this and water flooded the whole bathroom. We used all our towels to mop this up, and assumed the cleaners would replace them. Except the cleaners never came. The building itself was old and creaking and in a bad state. On a positive the hotel really was in a great location so you're sacrificing quality for location

Either a hidden gem or a 1-star, depending on what matters to you. The good: really cute, interesting rooms. Old stairways and big windows open to the street. The terrace and hot tub both overlook the sunset- grab a bottle of wine from the local grocer for an awesome evening! The location is also A+, equidistant from the main downtown strip and beautiful Plains of Abraham. The bad: super steep stairs that are very tough to carry luggage up. Avoid rooms on the 5th floor! Also, our room (510) was literally cut in half because of the slant of the roof. I spent the week alternating between smashing my shin on the exposed bed frame and my head on the low roof. I would have also expected them to make the room (or at least refresh the towels) at least once in our 5-day trip. Maybe ask for this service? For $200/night? 3/5 stars.

Very nice and unique hotel in the downtown of old Quebec Cit locates in the very old building. Room is cozy and clean. Shower is a bit small. No balcony. Parking is always full so I recommend find another parking for $18 three mins away walking time. Great stay and amazing location.

Awful! Ants all over our room, even in our beds! Mold in the bathroom. Wifi barely worked, tv lagged, no hairdryer, parking two blocks away. Very disappointing and very dissatisfied. I do not recommend this hotel.

I stayed there for 4 nights, and my room was on the 5th floor. The hotel’s location is so good - Walking distance to EVERYTHING. With this price, I bet you can’t find a better place in Old Quebec. Btw, they don't have an elevator.

We spent 3 nights at this hotel July 9-11. Our suite was absolutely wonderful! Rm 312. We were so close to everything. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean with the most comfy bed

Some how we were moved to this hotel fro Acadia. It was a good or best thing happened. Without knowing this hotel was two block down from the hotel K dram goblin was filmed and so easy excess to everywhere surrounded by nice restaurants. The room gave us so spacious for four people. The reception guy was so nice and kind. Free coffee and water at front desk.

What a disappointment. Careful - rooms are not as advertised ! Our hotel-location was across the street. Dirty laundry bags in front of our rooms; bathrooms have mould; phone is not working; rooms are so small, we can barely open the suitcase; our window is facing the brick-wall of a driveway; by-passers look into our hotel-room; AC was initially not working; At arrival we received an email: "Please note there is no housekeeping service during your stay." Two good points: location, beds are OK. Is this worth 250 CAD per night ?? No, this is a rip-off, but it could pass as a 1 star !!

Decent. We had a room on the sublevel which was very large, but not particularly decorated. On two nights, we heard scratching in the interior wall behind the beds that we assume was a mouse. Awesome water pressure in the shower. Parking was a plus. The advertised spa was a hot tub on the roof- no idea if they normally offer in room massages that were cancelled due to COVID (along with breakfast), but the advertisements for the hotel are deceiving. Reasonably priced and a decent stay, but not a 3 star or higher hotel.

Hôtel Acadia is a very special place in Old Quebec. The rooms are beautifully decorated with a warm, inviting and romantic flare. We stayed in the same room, on the same date in October, 15 years ago when we were engaged. Room 101 is very special. We will return again!!

This hotel is excellent. My room has all the amenities including air conditioner, fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher , coffee maker, and a private terrace. Price is reasonable and service is very friendly.

We stayed in the L'Hermitage building, which is across the street from Hotel Acadia. Our room was beautiful, with high ceilings and intricate plaster work on the ceiling. The beds were very comfortable. We were on the first floor, facing the street, which was initially worrying, however we had no problem with noise or a feeling of privacy. The location is perfect, in walking distance to key areas in Old Quebec City. The only unfortunate aspect was that the staff did not tell us about the hot tub and terrace until we were leaving. IMPORTANT: There is no elevator and the stairs are steep and narrow.

I can’t believe that this place is charging what they are. We had two choices of rooms: one with an air conditioner that was so loud that you have to unplug it to sleep, or the other that was in the basement with a plastic floor that was peeling with sharp edges that could easily cut a bare foot. The tiny refrigerator still had an ice bag lodged in the freezer compartment that was frozen inside any couldn’t be removed. The carpets were dirty and buckled. Another guest, as he was checking out was complaining of a leak in his room. When we arrived, their parking lot was full and we gad to park in a public parking lot 5 blocks away and lug our suitcases to the hotel. The only good thing about the hotel was the location. However, there were many other hotels also conveniently located… I would only stay here as a very last resort.

Very disappointed in this hotel. Has the little niceties of a nice hotel (tissues folded into roses, towels folded into bows), but not the cleanliness and service of a nice hotel. For nearly $200/night, we expected clean drawers and clean floors... The shower had a rusted caddy in it. (Tiny bathroom by the way... almost hit your head sitting on the toilet). The toilet paper holder was rusted. There was grout missing between tiles in the shower. The showerhead was not moveable (and the shower was very small). The drawers had dirt in the corners. The window seat had enough dust/dirt that I could blow it around with a single breath. Paint was badly scratched off the door frames. All of them. The floors had many particles of dust and debris on them. When climbing into bed or putting on clothes I had to try to rub the dirt/particles off my feet. AND WHEN I ASKED FOR THE FLOOR TO BE SWEPT, THE DESK CLERK SAID NO!!! "That's not the standard of service at hotels right now" he said. At a hotel of this caliber I would expect a simple request like this to be carried out. When I asked for more towels... he HANDED them to me instead of having them put in the room. I was horrified. The sheets were clean... I hope. We had stayed at Les Lofts St Anne for 6 days just prior to this and were much, much happier there!

(Translated by Google) Positive: - Very clean - Located in Old Quebec - Wifi stable and powerful Negative: - No reception or lobby (must go to Acadia Hotel) - No elevator (go up to the 4th with suitcases, it's not interesting) - Centralized water heating without individual control for the room (I slept with the window open in March) - not very comfortable bed - deficient soundproofing - tiny bathroom (Original) Positif: - Très propre - Situé dans le Vieux-Québec - Wifi stable et performant Négatif: - Pas de réception ou de lobby (dois aller à l'hôtel Acadia) - Pas d'ascenseur (monter au 4e avec des valises, c'est pas intéressant) - Chauffage centralisé à l'eau sans contrôle individuel pour la chambre (j'ai dormi avec la fenêtre ouverte en mars) - lit pas très confortable - insonorisation déficiente - salle de bain minuscule

The hotel has a great, central location. However, our room is quite small for the price, the faucet is outside the bathroom and there is no ability to control the climate and the room got very warm. It was OK, but I would consider other choices next time.

Very spacious. Beds were very decent. Staff friendly. Hot water radiators worked great, in fact, so good that we had to crack the window open for a bit to cool things down - no other temperature controller. A bit noisy, creaky stairs and doors, but mainly a few early riser kids upstairs, very tolerable.

Right in the heart of the Old Town, and centrally located to walk to all the tourist destinations in the walled city. You park your car, for a fee, and then you don't need it again until you leave. 5 stars for the location. Customer service was good. They were understaffed, but the employee that served us was working hard. We got our room well past check in at 4. Our room was in the Hotel Acadia. It was on the 5th floor, and you walked up 5 steep flights of stairs. So if you have mobility issues make sure you are on a lower floor. Each room is different. Some have a fireplace or other interesting features. The hotel is in very old, large, attached row houses. So you have to put up with issues that come with old buildings. The stairs are steep and some uneven. The floor in our room was very crooked. I gave only 3 stars because of the overall cleanliness. The room cleanliness was adequate, but the floor in the room was not clean. The public areas were very old, run down, and not clean. It would need to be updated. I'm glad we got a deal online.

We were looking for an old hotel in the heart of Old Town, and Acadia definitely fits the bill. It reminds me of my great aunt house :) Clean and cute, and minutes away from every possible tourist attraction you can imagine. If you're looking for every gadget and comfort of the 21st century, though, find another option :P The hotel *is old* and not modernized! I never mind it, as I enjoy a squeaky narrow staircase, an old armoire, and faucets that look like being brough straight from 19th century.

Worst Hotel Ever!!!!!!!!!! The staff were icy cold and inhumane, the rooms are falling apart, there are no amenities on hand, and the rooms at check in are never ready There is no excuse for a 4pm check in then have to wait an extra 45 minutes after to get into your room at almost 5pm. The place is run by hacks plain and simple, who talk to you like A.I. Alexa. This place deserves a ZERO rating! Avoid this place like the plague!!!!!!!

The room was great but it seemed impossible to get service. When we arrived around check-in time the hotel door was locked and there was no one at the desk. Some customers let us in and we waited for a while and called few time to have someone to check us in. About an hour later we realized we did not have a bottle opener and it took a long time to reach the person after calling from our room, going downstairs and calling again from our cellphones. There is no service after 7pm the desk is just empty I don’t understand how you can check in late. The bottle opener was apparently from a dollar store and we were not able to open our bottle with. It finally broke in 2 pieces I’ve never saw that before. In the morning we wanted to ask for a second keurig cup but there was no one around again. If you go for a walk after 7pm and you loose your key you will sleep outside apparently...

The room Is okay for the price you are paying. Lots of stairs to get to the rooms though for people with mobility issues. The location is probably what is most appealing. Other than that we have had a horrible experience. We had no warm water for the past day and the front desk worker is constantly on the phone, never available to easily ask questions or offer assistance. We had to wait 2 hours past check in time to get our room. The second night we were here, our car along with 7 others were broken into, in the recommended hotel parking lot. We have had to scramble to get our window fixed before we continue onto our next destination. If you can afford to stay somewhere better with secure parking, do it.
