I went to this place for a trip back in 2019, February. I loved it so much, I was maybe 11 back then? We had an issue with the staff because most of them spoke French, but they had a translator in every part of the resort, which was very helpful as I am mostly an English speaking Canadian while I am learning in school. The interior is amazing, it looks like a giant mansion. I like how you get separate water parks if you don't want to be in the wave pool. The bubble wall at the lobby along with the bubbles on the floor were a great detail. The staff were very sweet and most of them understood English! The souvenirs were very cheap, I got a sticker for $2.50, a mini flashlight for $4 and some chocolate (multiple) for $7. The rooms were very clean and the beds were big enough for 4 people. The people that go there are also very sweet, I got stung by a bee (my first ever sting) and so many people stopped to help me, even if none of them spoke English. The staff were very considerate, and gave me good care (even a Captain America bandage!) , and gave me some food. Their food is AMAZING, the bacon was perfectly crisp with small bits of crunch, the fries are the perfect size, soft and sweet!

Stayed for 2 nights, I give 1 star for the room, zero stars for service. Had dinner at restaurant Safari, WOW, that defines bad food. Had fish and chips from hell. As for the Bora park, what a disappointement. As a customer of the hotel who bought 2 nights 3 day package, for over a 1000$ ( no food included) in total, you expect some courtesy and service, not here. The rental counter will not allow me a floating jacket for my kid unless I pay cash (which I do not carry) or a piece of id (Iin the room). The hotel front counter was no help. So much for being a hotel customer. Will not be back..

Dont use the aroma spa at this hotel. Hello, I visited the aroma spa on Saturday August 26th from 5pm to “8pm” and the woman at counter working that shift till 8pm offered horrible customer service! 1st of all I’ve been to the spa many many times and made reservations with out the inconvenience of providing a credit card over the phone for a hassle free reservation experience , she refused so I said ok gave CC info. Once getting there I was told we must leave by 7:45pm sorry but your web site and all advertising says till 8pm. And If it’s 7:45 then put 5 to 7:45 on all your advertising. Anyhow besides this, the stay was enjoyable until around 7:32 when same woman started mopping there floor around us while we were trying to enjoy the hot tub inside. Walking back and forth looking at the time seeing if we were leaving. Feeling pressured to leave and not getting the full time we paid for and the stress of being rushed we left the water @ 7:40pm to shower 🚿 and leave. While getting dressed not fully dressed this same ignorant woman from front desk came in to men’s room without knocking or saying hello proceeded in to the change room to clean and block the sinks from being used. then She left and while I was continuing to dress she returned 1 min later again in men’s changing room without notice!!! This is unacceptable and needs to be rectified! It ruined our evening and neglected any relaxation we had that day at the spa!!!

Stayed here 2 nights. The ideas they had are good but the end result not that great. When I checked in my rooms floor garbage right at the elevator was flooded with garbage, who knows when the last time it was emptied. All of the hooks and closet space are at kid level, so if I wanted to hang something my clothing would touch the ground. The carpeting felt like it hasn't been washed in while. Considering they have two water parks you would figure that you would have more space in your room to dry out your towels and bathing suits, nope non existent. I booked this place because it's a one stop place with tons of stuff for a family to do, I didn't feel it.

This hotel as our contingency plan in case we don't find the ice hotel to our liking. Today, we checked in and were greeted by a welcoming lobby that exudes a friendly, family-oriented atmosphere. Our spacious 1-bedroom room on the 4th floor boasts a nice living room, office area, good-sized bathroom, and decent bedroom. The staff has been exceptionally sweet and kind, which has enhanced our experience here. The hotel appears to be an excellent choice for family gatherings, with plenty of winter activities available to keep everyone engaged and content.

We booked 5 nights but left earlier, the Bora Bora parc is closed during weekdays, and is nothing much around to do (we went in April). The room is large enough but not very clean, it was the Easter weekend, so a lot of tourists and the cleaning service suffers. The SPA is nice but the massage or any cosmetic treatment was booked until June. Maintenance people were present when guests are coming to relax. For 5 days nobody changed our towels or trash bins, we had to go and ask for more toilet paper. The Safari restaurant is sub-par, low quality food. From the other one, Le Chalet Sportif, the smell of burnt oil persisted for 2 days in the hallway. The Bora Bora park has day and evening shifts, so if you stay there you will pay almost $80 a day for a single person to go inside. The water is nice but bags with masks are everywhere.

The king room is spacious and clean, very clean bathroom and bath tub, they don't offer cleaning room service, you have to do it yourself no matter how many days you stay, you trade your towels for clean ones. There are no complimentary toiletries, the shampoo and bath gel dispenser is integrated in the tub, bring your own conditioner and shower cap, they do have a hair dryer. The mini fridge is a good size, it's empty on arrival. Single use Kraig coffee machine is available. Good access to jaks at the table to plug in electronics. The cabinets in bedroom have a small closet next to each bed but no hangers, so bring your own if u want to hand things and not just put them in the 4 spacious chest of drawers. 2 tvs, one in living room and one in bedroom, offers Tubi ..etc free apps, smart TV. The spa is fantastic, hot and cold options, steam and dry sauna. Nice super warm indoor outdoor pool. Towels and robe included that u must return upon exiting.

The hotel is far from the town and there are no restaurants nearby and the restaurant inside are the worst! We took breakfast at Safari restaurant and it was the worst breakfast I ever had! There is no room service! The coffee machine in the room didn’t work… The lobby is dirty ! Except the bora parc which is Nice for kids there is no interesting indoor activity! I don’t recommend to stay at hotel, just come for a day pass water parc and that’s it !

Kind size bed with pullout queen room very spacious. And very clean. Hotel staff were friendly. Safari restaurant was⭐️⭐️s. Staff was nice but food was just ok. Water park was clean but the water and air temperature were a little on the cool side.

Great hotel, especially the family room. Very spacious. One big (-) is the lack of a kitchenette in the family room.

Definitely not a 4-star hotel. Rooms are nice and well kept but there’s no daily maintenance service. The restaurants inside the complex are (optimistically) ok. Better to take your food (specially breakfast as there are no options) and look for restaurants around (within 15-25min) to have a nice meal. I paid 290$/night and felt that it should have delivered more but I see rates from $150 which is much more reasonable for what you get.

The rooms are so clean and nice. The whole hotel is so family oriented, and the family loved it. The reception is fantastic and helped make our stay so perfect. Definitely staying longer next time a day isn't enough. You need one for bora and another for Valcartier and really enjoy the stay. Lots in the village for dining and a bit of souvineering.

We have rented the family room with spa. We are in early September and the hotel is not busy. Very nice hotel, very clean. Only down point is there are no microwave in the rooms. Access to spa is from the kids room.

Great place for the family to spend summer in their outdoor waterpark. They also have a very nice indoor water park which you can enjoy all year round. We also love their winter playground. But they only have few choices for food and it is so expensive. So better bring your own food. But no microwave in the room too.

What an amazing experience! Staying at Hotel de Glace was amazing. You get a regular room to keep most of your things. Then spend the night in an igloo! 10/10 would recommend. Staff was amazing, kind, and answered all of our questions. And the food was decent as well.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel staff were very friendly and the room was very spacious. There is one communal microwave near the elevator, which was a bit weird but I will take it! The location of hotel is not ideal - its in the middle of nowhere and the closest amenities (McDonald and stores) are about 10- 15 drive. There are shops in the hotel for basic stuff though. And weirdly there is a gas station right in the hotel complex. My kids loved Bora Park (extra costs). I read a review saying all the lifeguards and attending staff seem very young and indeed they all look like high schoolers. Some of them had expression on their face that they would rather be somewhere else which was opposite of what you find on people enjoying themselves there. My kids went to bed right away at night. The time slot nowadays are only on weekends half day on Friday night, all day Saturday and half day on Sunday morning. There is no all day pass but you need to buy two passes for day and night time slots. I would highly recommend this hotel if you have young kids. For adults, all the good stuff in Quebec City are only a 30 mins drive away. My wife and I enjoyed rhe fine dining experience and all the City can offer for shopping.

First off - the good… very big indoor waterpark with lots to do for all ages and a great outdoor snow tubing park. The front desk staff were professional and competent. The rest of the resort was mediocre at best. The restaurant service and food was not good. The staff were completely overwhelmed in both the sports bar and the Resto Safari. The breakfast at the Resto Safari was terrible. Waited 25 minutes to be seated. When I asked a server whether we could just seat ourselves, she got angry at me and told me to “just wait”. When we did eventually get seated the table was filthy, the food was cold and tasteless and the prices were high. Unfortunately since the resort is located in a small village, the food options are very limited. I ended up driving back to Quebec City to pick up takeout one night to avoid the resort offerings. The rooms were big but sparsely furnished since there is a Murphy bed in the living space so it needs lots of space. Finally it took a long time for the garbage and dirty dishes to be cleaned up in the hallway. Even after they did, the hallway carpet was still filthy and needed vacuuming. Again, the resort has great attractions but for the price, you expect more for food, service and comfort.

Very nice hotel. My only recommendation is to have more on site dining options as the location is a bit far from any restaurants or take out.

Rooms are way to expansive for the quality. Had to fight hordes of flies everywhere. Killed over 15 of them in our room. Only 1 restaurant option ok but not great. Staff unthusiastic. Water park was lots of fun, had a great time there.
