I ended up here because a member of my family had an accident. It's been literally 8 hours since we got here and we still haven't seen a doctor. The receptionist is very rude and nobody seems to care about the patients. They didn't give any type of pill to kill the pain to my familiar, she has a broken ankle and we are still waiting. If you don't speak French, do not bother to come here.

Every time I had to call for an appointment, the reception staff was extremely rude like it bothers them immensely to have to do their job. The just sound like they want to get rid of you asap and if you dare not understand the first time when they give you important information while speaking way too fast you can feel them roll their eyes at you They give such ae vice because you have no choice when you call there and they know it so why bother be respectful right? Awful

Save yourself and do not come here. They don’t care about any patient here specially if you don’t speak French. 8 hours waiting in the emergency and still no doctor.

We took our one year old son to the emergency clinic portion of the hospital. After paying $650 at admissions, we got to see a doctor. Before he would look at our boy, he said the $650 we paid did not include his fee. $200, cash. Odd.

Fantastic staff, especially helping with the birth and care of our baby. The hospital could use some major renovations like air conditioning in some parts... but great nurses and doctors helped balance that out. Several staff helped helped us through the stressful day by explaining things to us in English, which I was grateful for since I am still learning French and there we a lot of technical words flying around.

Very clean hospital. The corridors are a bit confusing but as soon as you get to know where you are and have to go, it becomes easy to be healed.

I think my last review was deleted, it's no longer there. In March 2022 I was hospitalized following a fall. Pneumonia, the doctor asked the opinion of a pulmonologist, this doctor came to see me and confirmed that I had cancer in the left lung, on the same side where I had fallen. I told him this is ayma fall, no no you have cancer. Being sick and weak, he made me walk from one place to another to have a PET scan at the Hôtel Dieu, then a Covid test, and a bronchoscopy, horror. Instead of waiting to see what the antibiotics would do. All for nothing because this mass was due to my fall and my pneumonia. I told them, but they didn't listen to me. I was used as a guinea pig, no apology from this doctor and I have just learned that these two doctors are interns. Almost a year later, and I'm having big problems, I have to try to treat myself because my doctor is on maternity leave. The health system is sick and this hospital is deleted from my address book. I was really poorly cared for by this institution. I could tell you more but I know nothing is going to change. The best thing to do is to endure our problems.

To reception staff in outpatient care. 2024/02/01. Could you respect people. Don't forget to be rude and stupid. Especially towards older people who are already stressed to be there. I don't think you'd want to be treated like that yourself.

Impeccable service in the emergency room except that there is a big lack by certain paramedics who probably have a lack of experience.

A wonderful hospital and in my experience it was a success. The tests were carried out without any problems, thank you very much. Observation. Some nurses have to take care of the cleanliness of their clothes because they look scary due to how much dirt is on their pants and shirts.

I was not properly informed of test results, of two masses growing in me, and the doctors here lied and said they did. I was to have an unrelated surgery they said would be this month and did not yet get a date. If you are not yet fluent in French, go somewhere else. When I came to the ER here months ago, I let the rudeness of the ultrasound technician telling me my pain wasn’t real and treating me with complete disdain for not being able to speak French properly go… I am a kind person and don’t involve myself with people’s hatred and ridiculousness… but to find out months later the doctors failed to inform me of two masses they found by chance through looking on my carnet santé is beyond me. I was so grateful for these people when I had a kidney stone and little did I know how negligent they were. It’s very clear that if you are not yet fluent in French, your life does not matter here. I am terrified to live near this hospital and hope that I will never need life-saving services from them because I know my life and wellbeing matter less to them. I can’t sleep at night because of this. Please try to record what you can when speaking to medical professionals because when you are wronged and try to look after your rights (as many medical professionals urged me to do in this situation that was clear malpractice) they lie and there’s nothing anyone can do for you. Be careful! Be vigilant! I wish I were, I should not have been so trusting.

Nice hospital. I went here, the personnel and the security guards are very friendly, professional and helpful, the foods are very good, i considered this place very well maintained and this place has lots of kinds of health care. But my little dislike, in my first visit here last spring, the patient visiting are suspended at this time. But i went here this november, i can enter here.

I gave birth at the SFA hospital. The staff was present and attentive. The nurses were all kind and professional and one especially named Simone who assisted me throughout until my delivery. She really helped me a lot, was patient, proactive, and helped me to bear/overcome the pain with lots of tips and comfort. She missed the birth because her nap was over but she came back the next day to see us in our room. I will be forever grateful to him. Thank you Simone 😊.
