Beach was clean. Clean sand, and the water is very clear. Lots of fun activities for kids..Only down fall is? I found that it is expensive. 38$ for 1 adult and 3 kids.

As always, book your spot online. We're family of 4 (2 kids aged 5 & 7 years old) payed $35 including parking. I like the nice "beach vibe" here maybe because of the wooden palapas along the shores. A lot of picnic tables in the shaded area near the parking. Some few picnic tables near the shores. Bring your own beach umbrella if you don't want to share a tree shades or wooden palapas with anyone. The side of the beach are reserved for the day camp, it's divided by the floating lines. 3 lifeguards station post along the shores. Giving only 4⭐ because the first 7 feet from the shores are full of rocks, it's hard to walk bare foot. You have to go on the middle of the water (around waist) to be able to feel the fine sand under the water. I find that the water in the shallow part was blackish colour & lots of floating leaves that's why I seldom saw small kids playing in the shallow parts. It's either toddlers playing on the sand or in the middle part of the water. We brought our own floaties, no problem. Restaurant was closed when we went. Washrooms so-so but there was a staff cleaning regularly. There's a splash pad too near the parking area, playground, giant inflatable slides ($$), kayak ($$) & volleyball.

It was great experience and I enjoyed, Well maintained , clean , And the thinks I didn’t like was when I booked online it was saying No ticket will be sold at the door once maximum capacity is reached. But 1st July was they really let the people in more then the maximum if I am not wrong….! With respect, people who’s using toilets please try to be clean or don’t be too nasty because they do have toilet flash working but why not using. Thank you.

A relatively large beach, I visited it for the first time with security measures due to the pandemic and I was surprised to see how dirty its bathrooms were, the picnic area was also quite neglected in this regard. On the other hand, it has parks for children, water games, it has a walkway next to it. of the canal, super pleasant to walk, and even a tennis court, also some curious "miniatures of different buildings such as a lighthouse, a mill and a chapel among others, there are also some thatched awnings on the beach, you can see geese, and the typical seagulls, you can do activities such as pedal boats and kayaks, there are also beach volleyball courts and it also has a restaurant.

Very very crowded and noisy, water was not clean with some dead fish in it. The whole "coastline" is full with poo. Expensive and very draconian term for refund or change of dates (basically not existing). Still got one star for good lifeguard services. One big disappointment, never going back.

Nice beach to enjoy time with family and kids , water is clear but really too cold, there a few rocks when getting in , but after that is fine all sand . Beach has all things to enjoy a good time , park, clean bathrooms (early in the day) , volleyball courts , little cantina , lots of picnic tables for bbq and a place to rest kayaks and paddle boards. I recommend to arrive really early after 13h it starts getting crowded

This beach is about 40 minutes from Montreal on the saint Lawrence river. The beach is nice but crowded. There's plenty of picnic table and you can bring a small propane or charcoal grill. Lifeguards are watching that you swim in the bouey area. There's an ice cream kiosk and paddle boat rental. A nice feature is the wipeout course on the lake as an extra activity. There's also a playground and volleyball court. Mix of sun and shade. Restrooms are clean and There is an outdoor shower. Arrive early before 10 if you want a nice spot. Buy your tickets online in advance.

This place is okay to have a picnic and to swim as well though it’s too crowded on weekends! Parking spots can be a hassle so you might end up parking far away ! Overall it’s not a bad place !

Not a bad beach but it’s very family oriented so if you’re looking for a spot without a lot of kids this isn’t it! Beach is fairly clean and the water is nice. Make sure to book online due to covid. No chance of getting in if you just show up the day of.

Nice but the water has dead fish in it, all in bones. Wondering if something happened recently nearby for all these fish bones to show up, had to take out my baby from the water.

A little different from when I was a kid.. but still fun as I remember! Just missing handicap parking… for 12$ per car it was worth getting out of the City!

Nice clean beach with plenty picnics tables, clean toilets and cafetaria. There are 6 volley ball courts and large play grounds for kids. You are allowed to BBQ, swimming or rent kayak & pedal boat.

As someone from the east coast i missed the crowded beaches with smooth sand and honestly this is the closest thing to that in quebec near montreal. Water goes out real far and the houses beside the beach with boats parked in front are so cool. Theres floatable parks for kids and many volleyball courts. Will go back

The pros: Clean (very clean) - The sand is not dusty despite that its a dark sand. You won't find cigarette butts anywhere. There are garbage bins and recycling ♻️ bins all along the beach entrance. There are ash receptacles dedicated to BBQ remains. Affordable - Family of 4 is $30 for the day. Residents have a great discount. Activities on site are also very affordable. Activities - kayak, paddle boarding, peddle boats, volleyball courts, playground for little ones with slides and monkey bars etc, and a floating parcour you can sign up for. It's $8 for one hour. **must register ahead** I recommend doing so at arrival if you want to choose your time slot. You can even rent a BBQ on site. Amenities - 2 bathroom facilities* one on each end of the beach, huge picnic area with enough tables for a full beach on a Saturday, free parking on site (also pretty extensive without leaving you when a trek back), a dedicated area for Daycamp kids, shade huts on the beach (no cabanas). The water is clean and like many beaches, you have to go pretty far in before it gets deep. At the buoy line, most adults are chest deep. Even with Covid restrictions on capacity, weekends and construction vacation was quite busy. Max capacity is ~ 2K but I still recommend buying your entry online. The site tells you how many entries are left at the time of booking so it gives you a good idea how busy it will be. One small con: some areas do have a rocky entrance in the water. The best place to be is on the left side (if you're facing the water). Personally, I find it to be the best beach in that area.

Great beach, lots of activities, good food, lifeguards, plenty of picnic tables, not expensive and good vibe. Lots of people bring their own music and even dance on the boardwalk.

This beach offers an array of amenities that make it a great destination for a day of fun in the sun. Firstly, the abundance of parking space ensures you won't spend precious beach time searching for a spot. For those seeking relaxation, numerous benches are scattered along the shoreline, providing an ideal spot to unwind, read a book, or simply take in the stunning views. Active beachgoers will appreciate the couple of volleyball courts available for friendly matches and a bit of exercise. After a day of sun and sand, the shower rooms come in handy to rinse off and freshen up before heading home. When hunger strikes, there's a convenient light snacks place nearby to grab a quick bite, keeping you energized throughout your beach day. The unique grey sand gives this beach a distinctive look, setting it apart from others in the area. However, the water can sometimes appear a bit muddy, which may not be ideal for those looking for crystal-clear waters. But worry not, there's plenty of space for sunbathing and building sandcastles. You'll find ample room to spread out, ensuring a relaxing experience even on crowded days. In conclusion, while the water might not always be crystal clear, the beach's convenient amenities, including parking, benches, volleyball courts, showers, and snacks, make it a fantastic spot for a day of sun, sand, and relaxation.

Amazing for my kids .. is well maintained and all the services : tables, bathroom, kids pool, kids playground, ice cream bar, boats and paddles for rent, etc... It's very complete. Just a latina appreciation, I don't like the sand and the water... Too much little rocks in the dirty water .. but I enjoyed it

On the one hand, it's a nice place to enjoy the river and have a great time with family or friends; bathrooms close and plenty of people taking care of the people in the water. On the other hand, the real beach area is quite short/small so it's better to arrive early or forget about having a good spot. But overall, a good place to go!

The beach is lovely. Nice sand, nice food booths, lots of motor boats polluting the water, but I guess that's the trend here. I'm mainly writing this because one of the staff members had a very questionable attitude. He got super angry towards an elderly man for not understanding what he was saying. He was even aggressive towards his colleague, who was telling him to calm down. Later, when they closed the beach, he used the megaphone to tell everyone to hurry up and leave. We replied that we needed a bit more time to deflate our paddle boards and replied with a provocation telling us he warned us. Seriously, I thought he was going to get violent. It felt super unsafe to be around this angry guy. Not the vibes we were expecting from a beach.

It is public beach. It was very crowded. Buying tickets in advance is recommended. Good place for barbecue. Has different playgrounds for adults and for kids. The problems we noticed today, due to crowd the water was dirty & not that much clean. A lot of bugs & mosquitoes!!! The toilet near us was fully crowded especially the women section! It's recommended to responsible persons to expand the toilets and paying attention to it's cleanliness and hygiene!!! The section in toilet for changing clothes was horrible & those who constructed were inexperienced & out of their mind!!! They didn't add anything ONLY on clothes hanger & nothing else! When the floor is wet how someone change clothes?!? They had to consider some renovations for public safety & needs!

Supper nice spot for multi-sports! Like beach volleyball and football! Big area for barbecue in the shades with wood benches! Adults and kids activities plus water splash area while entering/leaving! The bad part is that there is no showers and it has small bathroom area. Better to reserve in advance especially in the weekend.

Good amenities, as seen in photos. Beach has soft sand and a gentle slope in the swimming area so the water does not go over your head. Several lifeguards are on duty at all time. Many picnic tables and garbage bins which are regularly emptied so they did not overflow. Bbqs available for rent. We went on a very sunny hot day, which unfortunately meant that the beach was very crowded. We were also disappointed that kayaks and pedal boats were not being rented due to "wind" although it was in fact very calm. Overall, a well run operation providing an opportunity to enjoy being by the water with friends, within just a 40 min drive from Montreal.

Nice beach with lots of picnic tables. It gets extremely crowded on the beach there are lots of lifeguards so it is quite safe.

Very pretty and clean. Lots of tables and shaded areas, a great place to come with a group. You will need bug spray. BRING YOUR OWN FOOD. There is absolutely nothing to eat here even though the website says there are food trucks.

It has always been a great beach to have good time with family and friends. We went on 1st July though it rained in the morning by afternoons were great before it started raining again in the evening.

Pretty clean beach with picnic tables, there’s kayak, paddle rentals and there is a lot of life guards on the beach. Bathrooms are not that clean, and it was busy on a weekday so it probably gets pretty busy on weekends too
