The park is full of history Good place for history students You can spend hours if you have any interest in history I was wondering the best time to visit this park might be in end of September as the park will be full of colors They closed down public washroom 🚻 which is really depressing Park is huge Must go with alot of coins for parking

It is a nice park with view over the parliament. It is nice place to stroll and the fortifications & cannon make you feel somewhat like Europe. Not a must see Quebec City sight, but if you have a spare hour it is worth spending it in Esplanade Park.

Went here during night, so the statues make the park a little dark, but if part of the area, "History". A lot of history to enjoy during day! And also to take nice photos. Hope come back soon during the day to update my review. And Yes, I recomend this place!

The food has lowered its standard, the onion rings were not edible it was nasty. The place lacks cleaning. The trash needs to be empty

The horse ride is 90$. That's ok because it is a good ride and you can learn a lot and ask a lot of questions...BUT they DEMAND at least a 20$ tip. So it gets off to a rough start. Maybe it's better now that you know up front.

I was trying to find a spot to rest in the middle of the village, and I found this parc. It's not as awesome as other parcs in the sourrounding, but it was ok. I liked the infrastructure of the buildings across the street. Very close, there is a laundry and some pretty interesting monuments. In the photo you will see the monument to colonialism, I did not catch it but there is a graffiti where someone wrote a complaint about it, regarding the englis colonialism... well, this is history live because this new trend of vandalise monuments is very recent. Anyways you can go visit the fortified village which is near to this point. But attention, you have to pay to get in.

This is absolutely beautiful. I recommend it to everyone to go to Quebec City at least once in their life. I am still smitten and I have fond moments from my time spent here.

My daughter had a blast at this park! It's a truly serene and nature-friendly environment. The entire area is well-kept and exudes a peaceful atmosphere.

Nice playground, new climbing for kids, wooden bench for parents to sit and toilets. If you are a tourist and visiting old Quebec with kids this will be a great rest stop for them

Maybe not a reflection of the park itself, but we tried to park there today. We wanted to walk around old quebec. The parking machine wasn't working. There were signs warning of being towed if you didn't pay. Even the qr code wouldn't take us to a page that could help. It's hard enough for English speaking tourists to figure this stuff out. We are only here for one night then heading out east, so we didn't want to take the chance of being towed. Thanks for nothing! Lol

Small park where you can rest and sit on public benches. There is a public bathroom available.

We took the kids to the Festival d'ete / Place de la famille du lait that took place here. The kids had a blast with all the activities. The science booth where they interact with the kids was amazing, the lady remembered my nephew's name, she run into us 3 times, and she called him by name the three times. It is always very well organized, fun activities. The changed venues this year and somehow I liked it here better. Good job all, we will return next year.
