Thanks to the receptionist of Hôtel Cofortel, I found this wonderful place during the thanksgiving weekend. At this golden autumn moment , every scene here looks like a beautiful painting of nature. In addition, that day, I was so lucky to catch a foggy landscape that every photographer dreamed of capturing. I had a really great early morning there.

Cross-country ski rental is amazing, equipment is new & top notch and trails are flat - perfect for beginners. For $9 (resident price) including equipment rental, it's hard to beat! you're supposed to buy tickets online; they don't accept payment onsite. Facilities are ample and clean. Can't wait to test it out some more this summer!

One of the best Lakes in the City. You can do the boating and fishing also. Approx 8 to 10 $ for 1 hour Pedal boat. Year 2020 August. 😁

You can come alone, with family or with friends and enjoy beautiful landscape and lakes without having to drive outside of Quebec city. No fees, you can have nice picnic and relax!

The walking paths were wide and well cleaned. Also, ice fishing had started which brought a new air to the site

It's perfect for 'leaving' Quebec without going far. To do both in summer and in winter. Possibility of snowshoeing or cross-country skiing with the possibility of renting on site. We walk in the countryside without leaving the city.

We love this place as much in summer as in winter. You can go walking there in all seasons. The cross-country ski trail is perfect for beginners. What I really like about this place is being able to observe birds, squirrels, Swiss, etc.

Perfect place for walking, hiking, paddling, canoeing, kayaking and other activities during summer. Also, I know they have a complete package for winter activities as well. You can enjoy a day from morning to evening or a half day. The behaviour of staff is great and they’re helpful.

Good place for BBQ and take some fresh air. They've a lot of funny things to do near the lakes in the summer. If you have kids you can let them play inside one of the lakes, it's quite safe.

Really great for a outdoor exercise! Did snowshoeing for an hour and a half, and it was great!

Base Plein Air Sainte-Foy offers great outdoor activities and a BBQ spot, but it's important to note that the cleanliness of the park could be improved. During my visit, I noticed animal droppings scattered around, which was a bit disappointing. It would be beneficial if the staff could pay more attention to this aspect and ensure a cleaner environment for visitors. A well-maintained park enhances the overall experience and allows everyone to fully enjoy the outdoor activities without any concerns. Despite this issue, Base Plein Air Sainte-Foy still has its merits with its hiking trails and BBQ area. With some improvements in cleanliness, it has the potential to become an even more enjoyable destination for outdoor enthusiasts.

I went cross-country skiing and the trails were zero maintained. The cross-country ski trails were barely visible and completely destroyed. The people at the service were nice and helpful but that's about the only positive thing about my experience... Extremely disappointed.

Lovely spot on the lake with kayaking, water paddling, paddle boats and an area to bathe. Only complaint was the swimming area was a bit small and there were so many people there. But it's a beautiful spot
