My mom and I are Chinese and visiting from New York so we have high standards for Chinese food. We ordered the shrimp with broccoli and wonton soup to go. Portions were very generous (picture is only half of the portion). For Chinese takeout in Quebec city, this place actually exceeded our expectations! The ladies up front only spoke French but the Chinese cook and manager who are both quadrilingual came out to greet us because my mom and I only speak Chinese and English. Both were very hospitable and the cook took his time to explain his menu options since they only have a menu in French. Great experience

This is a popular Chinese buffet, so it can get crowded. The food is good, but there's limited choices for those of you who are vegetarian. The service is good and the waitresses are friendly.

We wanted to go to a much fancier all-you-can eat accross the street and pay a premium, but it was a day of a huge snowstorm and the place was closed. So we decided to give JDB a try. Huge mistake.... :( AYCE menu is the smallest I've ever seen in my life. The food quality was comparable to 3 stars all inclusive Cuban hotels, which is sub subpar. Everything is overfried, still super oily and tasteless. Everything tastes the same. You can surely fill your stomach here, but your taste buds will hate you after it :D And your stomach might too, a bit later. For sure, it is dirt cheap. But honestly, go for a Value Pick menu at McDonald's - at least the quality will be better, as well as taste. 2 stars just because of the price... Otherwise - one.

This place isn’t actually a restaurant anymore. It’s a building that sends out food - Maybee - if your lucky, but Definitely - it won’t be fresh. So why even bother? Lots of restaurants are living in the post pandemic now. If you’re going to pay actual money, get it fresh off the burner…

The fried rice smell and taste like cigarette and the show mein was only cabage and chicken.

Cheapest chinesse buffet in town! Far from fancy but it gets the job done when you have a big appetite but are on a budget. Good for the whole familly. Not many parking spaces available though.

Worst fried rice ever. No vegetables, only traces of chicken, no egg, no flavor. Felt duped. Get a hamburger instead. You'll feel happier.

Honestly the worst food I have ever eaten, in a restaurant. The chicken fried rice? Rice boiled in soy sauce. No chicken. The chow mein? Boiled lettuce (what does it even have to do with chow mein?) The wonton soup was ok. At least it was cheap. But sincerely, without any hyperbole: that is the worst food that I have ever tasted at any restaurant that I have ever been to.

This restaurant used to be a favourite in my neighbourhood but they will not reopen their dining room and have raised the prices at least twice since last summer for take-out and are offering less quality than before. Last order was wrong to start with but it was rectified , arrived home to barely tepid won ton soup that had no sliced green onion in it , missing dry noodles for the chow mein, hard broccoli as well as stems in the almond chicken . I don't plan on getting take-out again - too disappointing for the price.
