Great food and service with perfect portion size. Loved all the foods except the Ribs which was a bit dry and the potatoes were not seasoned properly.

Absolutely delicious. I had their tartare of the day and it was fresh and delightful! Highly recommend!

What an incredible experience. The staff was absolutely amazing. I've been to restaurants all over the country, and never was I so pleased with the staff. The food, well the food was incredible. I got the Allegro pasta, and by far, the best meal/pasta I've eaten in my whole life. The flavours were like nothing I've ever eaten before. I would travel back here, just for this restaurant. It was a beautiful experience, with friendly and caring staff, and as mentioned above, the food was a delicacy.

The experience at Allegro started off shakey. Took awhile for our party of 4 to get 4 cups of water (we had 2 for 40 minutes). They seem short staffed, but the waiter remained positive and friendly throughout the night. Duck Confit was served hot and very delicious served with lots of greens! Good sized portion, the right amount of fat, and very tasty. Salmon tartar was also great. Steak and Frites was good served on the side with their House Sauce. Steak itself was nothing to rave about but cooked exactly to my liking (med-rare). Fries crispy.

Friendly staff. Thank you K! Good choices of cocktail made with quality alcohol. Fried calamari was ok with good tomato sauce. We both had pasta and the seasoning was unequal, mine needed a bit more salt while my wife's had too much. The portions were generous and I appreciated that i had the choice between the creamy and the tomato sauce. Overall was satisfied with the quality and the taste.

Nice place with really fancy decorations and good service. I ordered the chicken parmigiana with migneron cheese and it was DELICIOUS! Definitely will stop by again on my next visit to Charlevoix.

Extremely mediocre food. Had the calamari as an app, which came out with hair in the sauce. Whatever, mistakes happen. The second attempt at the dish had no hair, which is a plus, but alas was made up of the tiniest bits of calamari batter, and we only got a couple bite sized pieces of actual meat. We had high hopes for the mains, which unfortunately were dashed yet again. The “medium rare” steak had the consistency of shoe leather - beyond well done - and tasted like ash. Perhaps someone forgot it on the grill? The fries at least are hard to screw up, right? Wrong. It’s as if the whole restaurant ran out of salt - though they were quite crispy. The lobster ravioli was “fine”. Definitely better than frozen ravioli from Costco, but not the best we’ve had. For sure better than the steak, and this keeps it from being a one star review. To top it all off the drinks we were served were warm with no ice in them. Having read some of the other reviews, I fully anticipate a salty response from the owner. But it doesn’t matter because we’re not coming back here again. Maybe they can use some of that salt to season the fries though.

Sept 29, 2022. This Italian restaurant was great. My husband and I were received by a pleasant server as we arrived. We were seated by the window overlooking the river and watched the sunset. Katie was our server for the evening, the service remained pleasant, prompt and attentive. She recommended the litchi drink which was on par. We had fried calimari as an entrée, which was tasty, the Allegro pasta which was wonderful and cooked al dente and a lava cake, which was my favorite. They have various pasta dishes and pizza choices in addition to steak and salmon tartar. I praise the workers at Allegro for making my evening a memorable one. Merci Katie.

Although it was busy, we did have a reservation and the service was good. They were out of the lamb shank (maybe order ahead next time), but the ribs and Cesar were good.

We were lucky to find this place. Everything is good. I mean everything. Even the salad and I dont like salad. The waiter is an angel, she is supportive and kind and loves what she does. The pizza omg. Dont miss it. The volcano one. Boy oh boy. The pasta, there is one with 2 cannoli's and veal inside. Bro try it. Coming back here.

Nice restaurant with good house music, good atmosphere and friendly service. Seemed like it could have been a family run business as kids working there. Nice food, recommend.
