Two
and
a
half
weeks
in
Hotel
Dieu
and
every
single
person
(excluding
one)
has
been
an
absolute
angel.
I
was
so
nervous
about
the
language
barrier
but
everyone
has
made
an
effort
and
no
one
has
been
annoyed
by
my
lack
of
French
(and
being
in
the
hospital
has
given
me
some
quality
Duolingo
time).
Every
nurse,
doctor,
and
staff
I've
encountered
has
genuinely
cared.
They
make
sure
I'm
comfortable,
they
take
time
explaining
everything
to
me,
and
they
have
worked
extremely
hard
to
find
the
cause
of
my
issues.
No
matter
how
bad
it
got,
including
having
a
stroke
in
hospital,
I've
never
felt
scared.
I
feel
so
confident
that
no
matter
what
happens,
they
will
take
the
best
care
possible
of
me.
The
people
at
Hotel-Dieu
have
gone
through
a
year+
of
misery
primarily
caused
by
the
selfishness
of
others.
And
yet
they
still
smile,
keep
their
patient's
spirits
up,
and
work
extremely
hard
to
help
everyone
in
their
care.
Amazing
doesn't
begin
to
describe
people
with
that
level
of
selflessness.
It's
hard
to
put
into
words
how
grateful
I
am
for
the
people
who
have
looked
after
me
and
made
sure
I'll
have
the
healthiest
future
I
can.
Shout
out
to
the
cooks.
Tofu
chili,
steak,
pork
dumplings.
The
food
here
is
so,
so
ridiculously
good!!
It
makes
a
world
of
difference
to
know
that
no
matter
how
awful
the
day
or
how
sick
I
feel,
I'll
get
something
delicious
and
satisfying
at
the
end
of
it.
