This fall is close to Quebec city and there is a $8 fee for residents outside of the province. Parking is available relatively close to the fall and it takes you 15mins to get to the fall.

If you’re visiting Quebec City and you want to do a little day trip this place is a must. Not too far of a drive and the experience and views are spectacular. I highly recommend paying this place a visit 💯

The second largest waterfall (after Niagara Falls) in Canada! However, the water is brownish and it doesn’t look very appealing compared to clear water. Also, you need to pay for the entrance fee which is about 8cad per person if you are not Quebec resident. It has bridge connecting two sides of waterfall and you can pay and enjoy the zip line which will slide right before the waterfall. Amazed by the Mother Nature, but not impressed by the entrance fee.

If you are planning to visit Quebec, add Montmorency Falls Suspension bridge to your list. The view, lanscape and scenery are breathtaking. There is a cable car to lift you on the top. But if you are afraid of riding something like that you can just drive all the way to the top. There is an entrance fee.

Went to Montmorency Falls outside of Quebec City. This place is setup perfectly - lots of parking or you can come by bus. It has a cable-car to run to the top and bottom. You have a Zip Line, a Suspension Bridge, and stairs! You can spend lots of time exploring the falls and learn the history of the area. A photographer's dream location and a neat place to visit!

Get there early! We got there right at nine and got to enjoy it without too many crowds. By the time we left at 10 it was crazy busy. One hour is plenty if you just walk the bridge and go down in the gondola and walk the boardwalk below. If you want to walk up or down the stairs add an hour! There is parking up above or a lot below with lots of parking.

What an awesome place to visit! It has a gondola at the base to take you up or down if you don’t want to make the full trek. Once at the top you can walk across the bridge to see the waterfall. There is a staircase on the other side with some stunning views of the falls!

I was travelling alone and have visited many waterfalls before so although the organisation, viewing deck and activities are all there, the waterfall itself isn’t that stunning. But you can do the zip line and take the cable car.. from Quebec you take the bus 800 directly there. It takes 40 min and is super easy. Park entrance was roughly 8.5 dollars and the cable car return ticket 18 (but I decided it wasn’t worth for me).

The Montmorency Zipline in Quebec is undoubtedly one of the top tourist attractions in the area. It offers an exhilarating experience coupled with breathtaking views of the beautiful waterfalls. This zipline adventure provides visitors with an opportunity to witness the stunning scenery from a unique perspective. If you're seeking a thrilling and unforgettable experience, this attraction is a must-visit. The combination of the zipline adventure and the magnificent waterfalls creates a truly remarkable and memorable outing. Don't miss the chance to visit this incredible place and enjoy the awe-inspiring views it has to offer.

A lovely place to visit right outside Quebec City. There are two ways to tour the park. One is from the foot of the mountain, there is a parking area near the bottom after coming off the highway. From there you can either take the carts up or you can choose to walk up the much dreaded staircase to heaven on the cliff (see pictures). You can also drive to the top of the mountain which is the main entrance point, but be sure to arrive early as the parking lot can fill up very quickly. This is a large park with lots of scenic locations for photos or just visual relaxation.

My view of the place is it’s a nice touristy hyped place, the falls is impressive but made overly touristy. There is fees for entry, skyway ride and literally for everything.

Great view of the city and parking was so convenient and less expensive compared to Downtown Toronto . Checked off the bucket list ✅

So many ways to enjoy the great waterfalls just outside of Quebec City. Start at the top at Manoir Montmorency. See the falls from the suspension bridge. Head down the stairs and see the falls from the front. Take the zip line across the falls. Or rock climb the fault wall. You can get back up to the top on the cable car. A large park to wander in. Check out the RetiredAndTravelling blog for all about the Montmorency Falls.

Montmorency Falls proved to be nothing short of spectacular. The park's ambiance made it an ideal spot for a leisurely picnic, and the falls themselves were reminiscent of a miniature Niagara, awe-inspiring in their grandeur. The pristine cleanliness of the toilets was a pleasant surprise, and the availability of small snack booths added to the convenience of the visit. The overall organization of the park made for a delightful and orderly experience, leaving us thoroughly impressed with this natural gem.

Fun way to spend a couple of hours in QC! Go early in the morning though (opens at 9am) to beat the crowds. Entrance fees are about 8pp plus tax. The suspension bridge and panoramic walk bridges are scenic, and the gift shop is worth checking out in the manor, very reasonably priced! There’s not too much to do (plan to spend about 1.5 hours there), but the park is in the process of expanding.

Worth the trip! A long bus ride, but it was nice to get away from the busier parts of the city. Lots of places to fill a water bottle and buy a snack.

I loved the experience. Vere god big falls. Amazing views from all the look out points. We got see rainbows it was amazing. By paying at one location you can access all the parking lot. Just get a slip from the person on the gate also keep your receipt with you. So that you don’t have to pay again in other parking spots.

A beautiful hike over and around the falls! The water might not look the bluest but the views are still majestic. We opted not to use the gondola but instead to hike both up and down the trail - be prepared for a moderate leg workout if you do the same. There are some picnic tables and a playground on the lower side. Would definitely recommend visiting if you're near Quebec City!

This fall was a delight. Was a part of our one day tour and we are glad we got to witness this beautiful natural phenomenon. Go near the falls and experience the mist falling on your skin . Totally worth it. There are also stairs which take you on the top of the falls to the bridge as well . So if you have time , feel free to explore that as well. Pretty sure the views from the top are majestic as well.

If you’re in Quebec City, you can’t miss this place! Such a beautiful attraction that’s situated within city reach! The falls is stunning. When visiting, you can climb down the stairs in order to get a better of the falls or you can also head to the suspension bridge so you can the top part of the falls.

  • 4/5 Alex K. 2 years ago on Google
Only If you really cannot climb stairs, take the gondola. Otherwise just cross the bridge and take the stairs up the hill and enjoy the view of the falls.

Beautiful falls. It's smaller than Niagara Falls, but still not a bad idea to visit if you're in Quebec City. Recommended to come in the evening, if you visit during the summer, at least the weather is cooling down a bit.

Beautiful park sign stunning views of the city and waterfall. Very well maintained walkways. There is a nice restaurant on premises and a cable car.

Good place to spend a lazy morning. Unfortunately the zip lining was not available this summer because of construction work. But you could still take the cable car ride and go over the suspension bridge. They also have a nice restaurant near the head of the falls with great views and good food
