    Great tasting chicken with all the spicy Nando’s special sauces. One of my favourite things. Drove 386 kms from Mackay to Rockhampton just to have these juicy and spicy chicken and the fries.

    Absolutely pathetic service, to top it off chicken burnt over cooked dry as. When complained it was ignored, no one came back to address the issue. After good twenty minutes I walked into the restaurant to follow up and their answer was even more condescending. I will never ever return!

    Would only come back if I was dining in. Came to pick up my online order.. when I walked in, nobody acknowledged me. I waited to be acknowledged for a while and still no staff asked me what order I was picking up. After what felt like 20mins I asked a waitress who was serving diners to check my order.. it was sitting on the bench the whole time!!!! If you're not going to check what order I'm picking up when I get there, at least call out the order numbers that are ready and waiting when new customers walk in!!!

    The wait time is extremely ridiculous. We had ordered the same time as another family and yet we recieved the food and hour later than them. Upon waiting, we were even alerted that there was no rice. Overall, the entire family was starving and jokingly said to just move to a different restaurant which I was genuinely considering.

    all orders done online /app ect "card only " no cash "good way to "lose customers" we need cash in our society and many people dont want to order on there phones or apps ect " heading the wrong way with these things nandos"

    The dining room was hotter than the chicken. Staff weren't overly friendly but can't blame them working in that heat all day. Needs better air con. Food was good, even though they were out of my favourite, spicy rice.

    Had a wonderful meal with my family on the weekend. Guys were very friendly and food was served without much delay. Place was clean. Enjoyed the corn too much!!!

    Edited this review. Service has clearly dropped. Placed an order at 3:10 for pick up at 4pm. Go in and the order hasn't even started - the cook tells me that he had to wait for other orders to come in before he could start up the burner. Try explaining that to my really hungry kids. If delays were expected - let customers know so alternatives can be made!! Really sad to see service decline. Ive left me previous comment to show that I didn't always feel like this. Review places 6 months ago. Top Notch Taste and Service. It's clear that they understaffed but they worked amazing well. Hats off to them. The food was great. I did a follow up order the next day because I enjoyed the chicken so much and it was even better. The delivery guy was literally running to my door... and he still apologised after that... I was like mate I' expected you in another hours time cause that's the delivery service im used too. Honestly - from order to first mouthful was under 50 minutes. Now that's service. I'm from the birthplace of Nandos, I've eaten it all my life - the UK, USA, Middle East, NZ and now Aus... and this was the best delivery service ever!!! Keep it up Nandos and retain your delivery Guy!! He was an absolute gem.

    I can't rate the service high enough. I am vegan and my wife is vegan and gluten free. Not easy to get options for this, but the staff went above and beyond to check what met our dietary needs, and I noticed they even cleaned the meat grill down when their vegan dedicated grill was not working. The broccolini was a welcome change when most sides are deep fried at fast food joints. The paella bowl and vegan chicken burger tasted pretty good! Top marks Nandos

    Got a pick up order, took 20 minutes extra which I can understand, it was busy. Trusted that everything was in there only to find out once home that all the chicken from our order was not there.

    The food good but why are the dishes always dirty? Its like they just wipe it off with their hands and rinse it a bit. This issue ive come across with other nandos franchises too, so maybe its just a nandos thing. The tap water we got given had some ✨particles✨ in it,its like they took it from the sink they washed dishes from, so thats pretty great. Wait time always abysmal, but I don't mind. Please do better.

    Very disappointed with the service. First they got our order wrong, when I took it back up to let them know they forgot the chicken (the main ingredient??) the young blonde thing working turned around to me and told me all me and my partner had to do was swap plates. Proceeded to explain that that wasn’t the case. The young man working was so friendly though and asked to have this fixed. The same blonde girl then brought the food over, didn’t say a word and just put the plates down. Terrible service and a terrible attitude. All for our meals to STILL be made incorrectly.

    Saturday 8 April 2023 Cannot recommend meal cost $55+ both burgers were cold, both sat on bench awaiting delivery to table for no less than 5 minutes with fly buzzing around. Obviously insufficient wait staff as place was very busy. Had to go to counter to remind waitress re drinks ordered and were delivered to table. Spoke to waitress re cold meal and although she apologised she was quite rude and while discussing my issue continued clearing other tables. Sweet potato chips were hot but overall our dining experience here was poor and will not be repeated.

    I thought I'd try again as I love nandos but always have issues here. This time they took my meal to the wrong table, I saw the other customer eat a couple of chips, cough over all of the food, then complain it was the wrong meal. The staff member took the food, sprinkled a few more chips on, then delivered it to my table. I said no way, he coughed all over that. She said I've replaced the chips? She walked off and made me another one, no apologies- nothing. Are your staff trained in food service at all???

    Food was yummy <3 Service was good (I was told to write that down cause the girl next to me is crushing HARD on the waiter dude). Anyways, there were plenty of vegan/vegetarian options and the meat stuff is apparently really good too. Definitely gonna eat here more. Would recommend you all to do the same.

    A favourite stop when going through Rocky. Meals are a taste of South Africa, where it originated. Yes a Portugese started there. Very clean and had a spot to wash your hands.

    Still discriminating against people even though most people ignore government mandates because anyone with half a decent sense of morality knows its wrong and should be refusing. I'm vaxed but my friend wasn't. Its disgusting how she was treated. I don't live in Rocky and every time I go I visit this Nandos. They have lost my business. Nobody bothers to check vax status anymore in my town... we know better.

    Nando's has been our choice for delicious grilled native chicken. The price is ridiculously cheap yet the servings are delightful, mouth watering and aromatic. We always order our typical Quarter Chicken (Mild spice) in a meal with the Fried rice which is always perfectly cooked while my misus always have the Churasco Bbq and a side of fries. The place is very ambient and has that South American feel to it especially with the Espaniol music which gives the vibe of samba, bossa nova, a bit of Spanish jazz and classical guitar. The facility is pretty much complete except we have not used the Comfort room yet. The staff members are very accomodating and hospitable and would always greet you with the nicest smile. So if you crave grilled chicken or just wanted a nice meal, Nando's has a wide range of meals to offer both for dine in and take away.

    Website said updated 2 weeks ago stated closes at 10pm arrived at 750pm was told they we're closed in a very inappropriate tone with terrible attitude. Definitely won't be back with pathetic staff customer courtesy. Would have been a lot better if they spoke nicer and said we are closed sorry.

    Half-Filled food and missing ingredients in a meal. Refusal to take responsibility. Worst experience we've ever had. Gluten free people beware, gluten free ingredients stored next to ingredients that contain gluten even if it says otherwise on website. Will never return.

    Ordered Peri-Peri Chicken and Spicey Rice meal. Chicken was mild spice and rice was spicey. So tasty and economical. Fully recommend
