This was the most delicious Japanese food I’ve ever had. And I have been to Japan and this is so authentic and scrumptious. I had the mixed poke bowl and that made me so happy. My partner had the mixed bento box and I was pretty jealous of that meal too. I want to go back and try everything on the menu. And I would never pick karaage chicken but that was soooo yummy! So soft and tender, it was light and not oily at all. This place is so underrated, I would highly recommend the visit! You should support this local business. Outside area is great and also had indoor dining! Plenty of free on street parking. Overall great lunch experience!

If I could I would give this place 10 stars for food. We discovered it by pure coincidence as it was close to Moffat Beach where we went for a swim. I had teriyaki salmon bento and it was the most delicious Japanese food by far !! we are here on holiday and in Sydney, where we live, we have Japanese food often but this was really amazing hearty food. Don’t be fooled by location or exterior it is definitely worth visiting

Great atmosphere, the food is of great quality and the portions are very fair. The whole set up and Vibe of the ZeeCaf is great. The hidden gen of Caloundra when it comes to Japanese food. We will defintaly be back.

Great food, lovely place with good vibes & lot of attention to detail, friendly service & just overall very happy after our meal there. We had sushi rolls & a stir-fry. Ended up ordering some more food just to take it home with us for later, that's how delicious it was! Highly recommended for dine-in or takeaway 💯

Excellent food, beautiful staff, can eat outside or take away. Great mixture of Japanese and Australian foods. Drinks available too. Must try Japanese Mayo. Excellent presentation. Clean too. Japanese language lessons all one needs is a little kimono.💞

Such yummy fresh tasty food, the JFC tiger rolls are amazing. You are always welcomed by the most sweetest of ladies! Sushi is also really good. Go check it out, doesn't look much from outside but the meals 😋

If you are in the Sunshine Coast, be sure to visit this tiny Cafe & Restaurant hidden away from the crowd. Have had my share of Japanese cuisine, what they offered is the best so far, loved everything we had! Highly recommended!

As others have said, what a little gem. We didn't expect this until you read the reviews. Food was so tasty and staff lovely. It was a perfect night to sit outside. The only problem I had was choosing what I was going to eat as I wanted to try three menu options 😅. I had JFC meal with rice and Soba Noodles (OMG fabulous) and my wife had a mixed poke bowl.

Delicious food, friendly service, generous portions and super FRESH! The chicken was made to perfection, fries were perfectly done and crispy DEFINITELY RECOMMEND! Large fries is a portion for an army btw, so think twice 😜

Great food, cosy atmosphere and kind and welcoming staff. We got a salmon poke bowl and a chicken karaage Bento Box and both tasted amazing. My poke bowl was so refreshing and had such a delightful combination of flavours. The staff were attentive and checked in often, plus the lady at the front till had such a welcoming aura to her. Love it. Will be coming back for more!

Great food, staff were terrific and very helpful and accommodating. It was the best place to eat by a mile after spending one week in Caloundra. A real hidden gem.

Beautiful little spot. The food was OUTSTANDING. I had the 'JFC Sandwich' (Japanese Fried Chicken). It was amazing! The chicken was succulent and tender, the batter was out of this world. The whole thing was huge as well and very filling. Well definitely be back!

Japanese food to die for. It takes time to prepare, it's all from scratch, but well worth a wait. The Buckwheat Soba salad is AMAZING. Ordered the Bento plate and Teishoku

Beyond cute, from the moment you walk in, it's clear this is a authentic hidden gem, impeccable service and attention to detail above and beyond. Well worth a visit (or more!). Can't wait to try more (including all the unique drinks).

This place is a hidden gem. Cosy, delicious food and service is excellent. Even down to the presentation. Will definitely be putting this place at the top of our list to revisit.

Ordered $70+ worth of food. Two mixed sashimi bento boxes and sake. TLDR: ambience is great, mains are entree-sized, food doesn't taste fresh, had cramps and violent diarrhea within hours. Sake- It was good perhaps because it was not their own product. Food serve and taste - Bento doesn't come with miso soup. You need to pay $6 extra on top of $28.8. The variety in bento box was good but they need to double the amount that they are serving, to be commensurate with the price. The serving size was miniscule, like an entree that should not cost more than $15. Charging almost $30 for that size of bento is clear dishonesty. We definitely felt scammed. The pics on their Google search are taken in way that falsely makes the servings look huge. Food didn't taste right or fresh either. We left super hungry with weird tummy discomfort. Later in the night, I had abdominal cramps followed by multiple bouts of diarrhea. Ambience- They have done a great job simulating classic Japanese style cafe with old style decor. Brought back memories of my Japan trips. The staff is very pleasant. They asked us about the food and we gave the feedback. Overall, such a disappointment 😞

Fantastic place, very reasonably priced. Best matcha and poke bowel I’ve come across in a long time, both on the sunny coast and in Brisbane. Fantastic salmon sashimi bento box too, cannot recommend enough.

The karaage chicken Bento Box was delicious, and the service was very good. Highly recommend trying.
