    Oh. My. Goodness. What an absolutely fabulous place. We were staying in the hotel and got to enjoy dinner as a package. We did not expect the quality and enjoyability that we experienced. Food was phenomenal, absolutely beautiful, the wine options were a perfect fit, and the service was next level. We were lucky to have Yvonne the manager as our host and she made us feel so welcomed without being intrusive. Marcus the chef did an amazing job and even went above and beyond with some special touches. Couldn't have had a better dinner experience in our opinion.

    We had a great time celebrating my birthday here for dinner. The pork was melt in your mouth. Joe was an amazing server and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. Would 100% recommend and dine again.

    Wow, last night was the best and memorable one. The service and accomodation was superb. Over the top. This review is mainly to give thanks to Yvonne who made us all feel welcome and attended to. Your service is really highly appreciated. Thank you very much. We had a great time, food was very well presented and delicious. Kudos to the chef. . Thank you also to Tayla, Karina and Harsha. These names we wont forget because you made sure that our orders arrive at perfect timing . We are grateful for all your sweet gestures it made us feel comforable and relax. The reastaurant was peaceful despite the many customers you had. Before i forgot let me say again thank to Harsha who have a keen eye and made sure that our wine glasses are always filled (lol). To Yvonne , Tayla, Karina , Harsha and the Chef. Thank you. The best food, service and best place in Brisbane to dine .

    After reading all the amazing reviews, I thought I'd visit this place too. It's the restaurant of The Point Hotel at Kangaroo Point. Entrance is not that visible from the road, there is a winding staircase that takes you to the restaurant. Unfortunately, I got here at 4pm and only the lunch menu was available. Like all hotels, it was quite pretty inside with great service. The waitress was lovely, although she assumed I wouldn't be having any drinks. Maybe because it was 4pm, dunno. Dishes: * Calamari: Very nice crispy coating of pepper and some chilli flakes. On the salty side, wouldn't have minded having a cocktail with this. Calamari was very tender but slightly underdone for my taste. * Prawns: amazing batter of panko and coconut. It was too sweet for my liking. I think it's a Brisbane thing to add sugar in everything. The mayo was nice. * Broccoli: This was lightly oiled and grilled. I quite liked it, it tasted like a big vege steak. All 3 dishes were oily, so a bit hard to eat. My selection was probably not the best, although I thought the broccoli would be healthy to offset the other 2 dishes. I had actually wanted to go back again to sample dessert + cocktail but ran out of time tonight. What a shame. I wish I had gone there for dinner, I'm sure it would have been amazing.     This place is great! The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. The service is delightful. Yvonne, Marcus and their staff truly care about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing - the duck and lamb are tender and juicy, desserts melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best night we had for a while. Highly recommended!

    Delicious food, impeccable service (thank you Joe!) and a welcoming atmosphere made our 12th wedding anniversary a memorable experience. The icing on the cake…complimentary bubbles and an anniversary dessert plate! We will definitely be back.

    We ordered the seafood pasta that was missing any real taste, very bland dish and beef burger and 40 minutes after ordering the waitress came to us and said the burger will be well done not medium because they are still defrosting the burger! Very strange behaviour and not fresh ingredients. We had 2 starters which was okay, a salad and squid. I don’t understand how this place is more than 4 stars

    The only reason this restaurant has received 4 and not 5 stars is due to their very lacking vegetarian options. The entree has 1 veg option and the main has 1 - That's it. Worst of all, management would not allow options from the room service menu be served to us at the restaurant (the room service menu had better, more vegetarian options). The staff are amazing. Every where you go in this hotel, be in front office/bar/housekeeping, the staff are super friendly and just so professional. Our server Amy Green was exceptional tonight. She was extremely attentive and just made our evening an amazing one. It is hardworkers like these that bring back customers, so Thank you AMY!! The Creme Brulee is to die for and one I'll be no doubt be having dreams about😍😍😍

    The menu is tantalising . Food was well presented and delicious. Service was outstanding with amazing attention to detail and I was very impressed. The wine list was limited and way to expensive for a casual dinner .

    It have been one of the memorable experience dining in with Lambert and celebrating our anniversary. The food is great and the manager and waitress very accomodating. Big shout out to the Chef, the food is just noting short of exquisite! The lamb and Scallops is perfectly cooked. Will definitely recommend to everyone want to enjoy their special occasion!

    I always love going to Lambert’s. They are consistent, reliable and open seven days a week. Staff are fantastic and always strive to make you happy. Meals are served promptly and are always tasty. My friend with allergies never has an issue. I am local so can walk there which is a bonus.

    I celebrated my 40th birthday dinner here last night and honestly, it was made very special.l, by the company I had with me, and the outstanding service, meals and drinks we shared on the night. The waiting staff were truly exceptional and a BIG THANK YOU, to Joe when we were paying our bill. Joe was amazingly efficient, thoughtful and made me feel special with my birthday celebration, in his kindness and the service he provided for the night. Thanks again for that. Thank you to the excellent chefs also, as your food was exquisite and went down like a treat !! Thank you also for the complimentary amuse-bouche and complimentary dessert also, from the chefs, as it definitely was a lovely highlight to the night. I can highly recommend anyone visit here, as it's my favourite restaurant in Brisbane and my 4th time here in the past 4+ years, as I once was a guest at the lovely hotel. Great job everyone and I hope you all have a lovely Christmas.

    We came to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary and the the team treated us like royalty. A very special night, the food was delicious and the atmosphere delightful. We will be back.

    Good ambience and great food. Staff is very polite and friendly. Service is very good. Food served here is of highest quality and well prepared. Menu is limited. Drinks ate served at the restaurant as well as at the bat. Clean and hygiene. A must visit.

    The Point burger was surprisingly amazing. I wasn't expecting the burger to be this good here, I have tried so many other burger joints which have been quite unimpressive. The patty was juicy, fresh and melted in my mouth and overall the taste was subtle and very good.

    We booked here for our Anniversary dinner last night. My goal was a romantic dinner for two and Lamberts Restaurant did not disappoint. We drove, which in hindsight should have avoided as we struggled to get a street park on a Saturday evening. We parked a few streets away and the walk was welcomed… especially after our meals. I ordered the barramundi and my husband ordered fish of the day which was snapper. We were both impressed with the meals. The average cost for your main is $40. The service was amazing and staff were attentive which you expect when fine dining. The cocktails were lovely and wine list extensive. We had a wonderful, romantic dinner and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I highly recommend a visit.

    We had a great dinner here celebrating my partners birthday and other milestones. Service was high quality and attentive with no issues. The best thing about the food would be the combination of various flavours and sauces of each dish. Would highly recommend tasting each component of a dish separately, then combining all components as they complement each other exquisitely. The only tiny downside which was extremely minor would be the quality of the high-end steak. Could have been a bit better for the price tag. But this is comparing to other high-end steak restaurants so the minor drop in quality is understandable as Lamberts isn't steak-centric. Honestly though, the difference was marginal and it didn't take away at all from the whole night and service which is 5 stars.

    We had the set dinner menu from the Luxury Escapes package and found everything to be wonderful - food, drinks and service. The waiters were interested in conversing with the diners and checking whether everything was to satisfaction. Great choices on every course and the included wine was delightful.

    Thank you to the staff for making my surprise romantic evening so lovely! The food was spectacular (although I was full quick and didn't finish my main) and the staff were so attentive. As requested, we were also seated at a semi private window table overlooking the pool that made it extra special. Thank you!

    Well, what can I say. I think people would rather have good quality food, then all this artificial makeup. Websites look brilliant, reality is different. Don't get me wrong, we chose to go there, we would never blame anyone else. We will just not go back, full stop

    A really great night. Felt totally looked after by the Lamberts crew. Impeccable service and excellent food, really excellent. Not one fault. A hidden gem worth visiting regularly. If you're nearby you should do yourself a favour and indulge yourself. An outstanding establishment.

    What a wonderful experience. Food was amazing and the service was by far the best I’ve experienced in a long time. Lena our waitress was incredible and delightful. The maître de was charming and very helpful in every aspect. Will definitely be going there again. 😊 I think I’ve found my new go to place 😊

    We dined at Lambert's towards the end of my pregnancy. Hubby and I felt the wait staff were very attentive to our every need. The food was delicious combined with great ambience that was warm, yet quiet enough to hold a conversation. A great date night venue. We even received a follow-up email after dining at the restaurant inviting us back to dine again. Highly recommended for those wanting a great dining experience!

    The food was exceptional. The staff at Lamberts are some of the best I’ve ever experienced and completely surpass other Brisbane restaurants. The 3+ Angus was sublime, the ambiance was private and cosy. I cannot stress enough how excellent the staff were. After my fiancé left her bag under the table the waiter ran out the front of the building to return it to her. This is a simple example of the exceptional service the restaurant provides. If a friend or colleague asks me where they should go to eat I will recommend Lamberts and be confident in my decision.

    What an absolutely amazing place, great food, great service, we were served by Yvonne and imi who were absolutely lovely, it was a last minute decision to go to lamberts after our proposal and I'm glad we picked this restaurant, we will definitely be back, thankyou for the free dessert ☺️

    We had been told that this is the best restaurant in Brisbane. When we first came in that seemed hard to believe. When we left we had been converted. These people know what they are doing and do it beautifully. We had the scallops, duck and lamb. All of them perfect. We even had dessert- also superb. The service was friendly and professional. We loved Lamberts. Good old fashioned quality.

    Such a hidden gem. The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable. They guided us through the menu and assisted with selecting menu items to accommodate dietary requirements.     "A really special evening" My wife and I attended Lamberts for our 11th anniversary and had the pork belly to start which was delightful. We also were gifted a fried haloumi tasting platter which was sumptuous. For the mains we had a steak and Duck a l'orange. Both were cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth. As it was a special occasion we had the creme brulee (+ raspberry sorbet): it was next level. I struggled to recall when I had been so impressed by a dessert (I consider myself a connoisseur). Imogen and the chef's also sent out some brownies and a taster of the caramel sauce I was tempted by with a lovely 'happy anniversary' note. Thank you Lambert's, this made it a really special evening. Thank you Imogen, you set a very warm atmosphere for our dining.

    It's one of the best restaurants in Brisbane I've tried. We went on a monday evening and didn't regret it. From the beginning, when the host of the night is welcoming you to the end, everything is perfect. Great host, very clear, professional, and friendly. The food is literally amazing and exceptional, between French and Australian cuisine. The duck a l'orange is perfectly cooked. And we finished the best way possible which is a glass of cognac ! Thank you !

    5 star service for a young n pretty waitress Imogen, friendly n smiles made us feel welcome n comfortable. She is a role model for all young people. Meals are quite expensive. Garlic bread with sour dough was too chewy to eat. Especially beer $22 a pine of Asahi. Had dinner and breakfasts. All other waitresses are friendly too.

    Recenty l had the pleasure of dining at the very beautiful Lamberts restaurant located at The Point Brisbane Hotel in Kangaroo Point. Lamberts serves up Modern Australian cuisine and prides itself in quality and presentation and it was evident in every single course that we got. l also had the opportunity to try a Glacier toothfish aka Patagonian toothfish for the first time and l loved it. It’s good to know that the fish is sustainable and Australian so it was a definite winner with me. Beautiful presentation and cooked to perfection and you can tell it was given the respect it deserves. My whole experience at Lamberts was exceptional. Our host Byron was so sweet and so professional. He took such good care of us and my kids. Btw the kids meals at Lamberts is epic. It was basically a adult sized meal. My kids loved it and so did we. Will definitely be back.     Great service, not over the top. Good wine selection. Both had the seafood fettuccine which was excellent. Substantial and filling, but best of all very tasty. Plain green salad sufficient for 2. Too full for desert. Including drinks, bill was $98. Not cheap, but worth every cent. Standard maintained Will go again

    Great service! We came in for a spontaneous dinner with a small child. While the main room was over-airconditioned for our taste, we've been offered a great spot on a small terrace facing the pool. It was relaxed, warm and we absolutely loved the food.

    We had a night at the Point - for dinner we were at Lamberts. Great service and really friendly - thanks to the man from Amsterdam ;) taste was delicious and prices are moderate. Not overcrowded - you can enjoy your meal! Definitely recommended👍🏻

    Spent a couple of days at The Point Hotel for our wedding anniversary and took advanatge of the Lambert restaurant therein. Whilst the decor needs a little bit of a face lift that can't be said for the excellent professional manner in which Yvonne manages this little venue, something that's quite rare these days we feel! The menu is no overly extensive but would cater for all beautifully executed with excellent portions. There is a good variety of wines on the restaurant list and the feeling of welcome wreaks from this place so there's no rushing in and rushing out. It's a little gem that can only grow in stature from our experience this week.

    Had dinner at Lamberts restaurant on Friday evening. We were extremely happy with our entree, main and dessert. 10/10 for us. Delicious well presented food that arrived hot and in good time. We were very impressed with the chef and his team. Can't wait to dine there again. Floor staff were also smiley and friendly.

    Have been walking past this place for a while and when I finally tried it for lunch, I wasn't disappointed. The menu isn't extensive, but the dining room is pleasant, the service attentive and the food was well-prepared. It was also good value for money. I'll be back.

    What a hidden gem! Absolutely delicious food, and sparkling service from our waiter. We had the coconut prawns: light and airy with a great texture. Duo of dips with Turkish: dukkah was excellent and bread generously drizzled with oil. The duck curry was the standout: spicy, sweet, tangy, delicious. The salmon and veges were perfectly balanced. I hope I get the chance to go again!

    Excellent, been dining here whenever I am in Brisbane and it never disappoints. The food is always superb, staff and service are great.

    Early morning hotel breakfast option. They offer a buffet for around 32 AUD, but I needed something easy on my jetlagged stomach. Ordered à la carte. The 10$ eggs your way with sourdough toast was perfect for this purpose, light, with a hint of cream, tasty and served hot. The green tea prevents me from awarding five stars. Ordering green tea I expected green tea. What I was given was jasmine green. Though not the end of the world, I would have preferred to be warned that that was their choice of green. Or maybe it was just a mistake... as they have regular sensha green in the rooms!
