One
bad
apple
shouldn't
spoil
the
bunch.
I
recently
had
a
disappointing
experience
at
the
Alcyone
Hotel
in
Brisbane
when
I
returned
to
curiously
query
a
charge
on
my
bill.
While
I
had
a
great
stay
at
the
hotel
in
December,
this
time
around,
upon
my
return
I
encountered
the
manager,
Chris,
whose
attitude
was
disrespectful
and
unprofessional.
He
seemed
disillusioned
when
I
brought
up
my
concerns.
I
wasn't
seeking
any
compensation
for
the
issue
at
first,
but
rather,
I
had
a
serious
problem
with
his
attitude
and
his
need
to
assert
his
mediocre
authority.
It
was
clear
to
me
that
Chris
didn't
understand
the
real
issue
at
hand.
It
wasn't
about
the
charge
on
my
bill,
but
rather
by
the
end,
it
was
about
his
unprofessional
and
disrespectful
behavior.
His
dismissive
attitude
and
how
his
condescending
tone
made
me
feel
undervalued
and
uncomfortable,
especially
infront
of
other
guests.
It
was
disappointing
to
see
someone
in
a
managerial
position
display
such
poor
customer
service
skills,
and
it
was
clear
that
Chris
was
more
interested
in
asserting
his
authority
than
resolving
my
concerns.
It's
worring
that
he
was
more
focused
on
refusing
any
remedy
rather
than
addressing
the
underlying
issue.
Despite
the
fact
that
the
hotel
itself
is
great,
Chris's
poor
customer
service
skills
and
dismissive
attitude
left
a
lasting
negative
impression
on
my
experience,
of
which.
I
was
disappointed
by
the
way
he
spoke
to
me,
which
was
awkwardly
unprofessional,
His
lack
of
empathy
and
unwillingness
to
listen
only
added
to
my
frustration.
It
was
disheartening
to
see
such
unprofessional
behavior
from
someone
who
could
be
seen
as
a
role
model
in
the
workplace,
especially
when
the
hotel
has
a
reputation
for
excellent
service.
While
I
had
a
great
stay
at
the
Alcyone
Hotel
in
December,
my
experience
with
Chris
made
me
feel
unwelcome
and
undervalued
as
a
guest.
In
the
end,
I
hope
that
the
hotel
management
takes
my
feedback
seriously
and
addresses
the
issue
with
Chris's
customer
service
skills
and
attitude.
While
I
understand
that
every
business
can
have
its
challenges,
the
Alcyone
Hotel
has
a
great
reputation,
and
I
would
hate
to
see
that
tarnished
by
one
individual's
unprofessional
behavior.
I
would
like
to
see
the
hotel
do
more
to
ensure
that
its
guests
are
treated
with
respect
and
professionalism,
before,
during
and
after
their
stay.
