Lovely place with great food. Was able to walk in on a Monday night for dinner and it wasn't too busy. I got the butter chicken with rice and cheese and garlic naan. The butter chicken was absolutely delicious, so creamy and the chicken was tender. The rice was fluffy and the naan was just the best to dip with the curry. I ordered the rice as the curry itself doesn't come with it. Service was attentive and interior design is beautiful, such a nice vibe. I'd love to come back and try their other dishes.

Beautiful Indian dinner tonight for a family dinner. Being a Tuesday night, the dining room was quiet but there was still a pleasant atmosphere. The staff were very nice and provided guidance and suggestions for our meal. I’m a big butter chicken fan and this was one of the best. The sauce was very thick and creamy with just a touch of spice. Will be back again!

Authentic, Flavoursome with great hospitality- Its the real deal! It is rare that you go to a restaurant and like everything you eat. Had heard good things and went to check it out for dinner last night and were very impressed. We ordered the starter tasting plate followed by the prawn curry, slow cooked lamb korma and beef rendang. The food was really well prepared, sumptuous and sophisticated. I cannot wait to tell friends and family about this great find! Planning my next visit already.

We had a fantastic evening here. Food was authentic, flavourful and delicious. Every dish we ordered tasted different and was not full of sugar! Would recommend chicken tikka, sambal prawns, fish cakes, eggplant pachadi and Madras pepper chicken. Definitely the best tasting dishes of these cuisines that I have eaten in a long time. Service was very good too. Restaurant owners were great at accommodating and advising. Looking forward to visiting again.

The curries were great. However, the prawns were a bit overly cooked and hard. And the chicken and lamb weren’t fresh

Great place for casual malaysian & indian food. Super attentive staff, unique cocktails and food packed with flavour, all in a cool neon-lit bar vibe. The onion bhaji and nonya fish curry pairing is a must try!

If you are walking there be prepared to wrangle motorway intersections and lap dancing clubs. But it is worth it. The space is cool - although quiet for a Friday night. The staff were struggling a bit with the numbers so just as well. But the food - that was good. The medley of starters has great oysters and rolls; but slightly greasy fish cakes and bajis. Papadums were fun - mango chutney a little too jammy. The tarka daal was excellent and the prawns in red curry outstanding. Decent drinks. Friendly. A good evening!

The place is just close to where we live. Usually i just watch it from our terrace. Its my first time to dine in at copper and stone. We hD coconut mojito and my sister had pomegranate cocktail. It taste okay, , i think the server put a lot of ice on my mojito it that after a few sips my drink is gone. Presentation is nice but too much coconut and ice. .. We ordered thiz 9 course option on their menu. It says its the best option between the two choices. It comes wigb appetizer, main course and dessert. But i am not so impressed with my choice. The food are all good but not great. The main course are all dipped in different but similar sauces. Except fof the fish that is dipped in like tomato sauce. I wish the main course came in varrieties. . I can trade it all with buffalo wings and chips. And im a happy gal. . Sorry guys but i think you need to improve your 9 course menu. Its too classic and boring. Think outside the box.... If not for the young server who is smiling and freindly i wont hesitate to give you 3 stars.

Here's a restaurant for all those diners who love their Butter Chiken. My partner and I randomly came across this restaurant and honestly, we are so glad that we did. Their Butter Chiken is made from quality ingredients; a thick paste textured curry with juicy chiken slices that is packed with heaps of flavours. The staff are always energetic, lovely and remember our order every time we visit. We strongly recommend to order their Garlic Naan to dip with their Butter Chiken and their Red Duck Curry is a must try!

If you like authentic Malaysian food in Brisbane, or actually want to know what it takes like, go here. After being disappointed with quite a few, this one was the real deal. It's kind of interesting, because it's a medley of Malay, Indian and Thai dishes. We had the onion bhaji for entree, and it was light but flavourful. For our mains we had Assam fish, and beef kecap, which incidentally was nothing like kecap manis at all! The Assam fish was something between a yellow curry and a Penang curry. Tumeric, ginger, coconut cream, ocra, and curry leaves were the main flavours and textures. It was rich and delicious. We had it with coconut rice, which was cooked with a sprig of lemongrass in it too. The beef kecap was between a massaman curry and a rendang. It too was superb. The flavours were rich and silky, and the beef very tender. We thank chef Ali for cooking us such a beautiful and authentic Malaysian meal. Very easy to recommend, especially if you like authentic food that is not adapted for local palates.

DEELISH. Food is off the charts yummy. Well worth going for. Location is great, vibe is excellent and good drinks list. 4 stars because the bathrooms are REALLY far away and the some of the staff aren't overly friendly but otherwise will definitely keep eating here.

Fantastic customer service, food & all round dinning experience. Management were nice enough to accommodate us for a couple's banquet, even though they normally do for minimum 4 people.

Obviously it's good, we keep coming back! Service is very good, and the meals are very generous. The duck curry was saucy and scrumptious, the Thai Chili chicken was crispy and flavourful. The only down side was the naan bread was disappointing this time. I loved it the last time we were there, but today it was not very good at all.

10/10 dining experience! We got the Thai whole fried fish and butter chicken and let me just say they were both out the gate delicious. Butter chicken is the BEST I’ve had. Highly recommend both dishes as they were bursting with flavour. The service was top notch also!!!

We had a great experience! Despite coming on a Friday night and not having a booking, my 3 friends and I were immediately greeted, seated (we were given a choice of seats) and given table water immediately. The server was very attentive and came over immediately when we were ready to order (he had obviously been keeping an eye out which we appreciate). Food came out so quickly, and was delicious. I cannot rave enough about the naan - the garlic and cheese naan was SO aromatic and fresh. The butter chicken was hearty and FULL of meat, red duck curry had juicy thick pieces of duck, the pad Thai was fresh and the migoreng had tons of flavour. My coconut chilli mojito was infused with a coconut flavour and was something interesting to try. My only criticism would be the coconut rice could have been more moist / flavourful and the serving was a little small. All in all, very happy and we will be back again.

Their menu offers a selection of popular Indian, Malaysian and Thai dishes that are prepared meticulously to the best of quality. It’s quality over quantity here. We tried out a couple of their curries and Smoked Lamb Cutlets along with their Garlic Naan and were really impressed! The chefs have nailed the spice level, making the curries so full of flavour and we particularly love that they roast their meats in a tandoori oven, giving them that distinct charred flavour. Same goes for the naan, which is beautifully charred slightly on the outside and cooked perfectly on the inside. The menus are priced at great value for the quality you’re getting, so it’s not a surprise to say that we had a wonderful time and can’t wait to go back for more sampling of their menu and drinks

Amazing!! The food was absolutely stunning. We order spring rolls at every restaurant we go to and these were by far the best we'd ever had. Incredible. The Naan was also the best we'd had. We had the goat roghan josh and pepper chicken - both were delicious. Highly recommend.

Very tasty meal.. I had pork belly which was plain yummy and filling. Partner had.lamb Korana which he said was authentic and very good.. No need for desert. Service prompt and friendly. Unusual to have cuisine described as combo of Indian, Malaysian and Thai which relates to background of owners and chef, then add an Australian pub name.. still certainly worth visiting. Very enjoyable

We went here right on COVID and I didn’t want to give anyone a negative review under those circumstances. Had the Roti and naan with chicken and cashew and 2 other prawn dishes (I’m a bit vague sorry as can’t remember the name of the dishes) and a bottle of rose’. It was ok and the prawns were definitely imported frozen ones at the time and had a funny texture. I see now they have Shark Bay prawns on menu so that’s a plus. The waitress that served us back then looked like she had just come out of the clubs with a very short outfit on and really had no idea of food or wine. The flavours were ok but nothing that was a knockout though and the portions very small.

Every dish is good to great. So far I've tried the following- Excellent: whole crispy fish, choo chee prawns, butter chicken, rendang, garlic cheese naan, murtabak. Very good: lamb korma, nasi lemak. I loved the cheese garlic naan bread, which we had with the butter chicken. Its one of the best butter chickens I've ever had, it has good depth of flavour and I will definitely be back for that alone. We also had the crispy whole fish (barramundi) with tamarind sauce - very good taste, not too spicy. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal and will be back. My favourite restaurant in Brisbane so far - consistent good food. Compliments to chef Ali! I was a little concerned that this would be one of those fusion restaurants - because its advertised as a Indian- Thai- malay restaurant. But now I cant wait to go back and try the lamb Korma and nonya fish, Assam fish, satays, Rojak etc...

  • 5/5 Feeney F. 3 years ago on Google
We shared the mushroom pizza (which was generous for two), risotto and salad. Everything was finger-licking tasty! I'd love to come back and try every pizza because damnnnnn, they looked FINE! The manager was friendly and attentive, and I love the woodfired oven and the banter amongst the happy kitchen staff.

Came here tonight for my mother's birthday. She actually came here 4 days ago and enjoyed it so much that she wanted to come back. The staff are lovely. Great service. Very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is modern and has a nice feel. The food was very nice. The outstanding dishes were the fried whole fish and the choo Chee Prawns. The butter chicken and lamb korma were mild yet flavourful. The only dish that I was not a fan of was the crab curry.. I felt there was an overpowering taste of cardamom - the others at my table agreed... But some people may like the different style. The naan was quite good. We brought in our own dessert - birthday "cakes" for my mum and the staff were accommodating to let us do that. All in all a very pleasant meal and would definitely recommend and go back!

Randomly walked in to check it out and might I say it was a pleasant experience. The service was fast, the food was tastefully accurate and the ambiance was great (tad noisy but that was just the large family sitting behind). Disable friendly/pram friendly entrance was a welcome sight. Have provided my feedback on some menu improvements marking items that can be perceived as a dry dish. I hope to visit there soon enough to enjoy what I thought was a premium date night experience.

A little disappointed. Was highly recommended by a friend and rating looked good. Started on arrival. Took a while to be greeted. Hard to distinguish patrons that are dining versus using the bar. Initial service was nice but then had multiple people come to take our drink order. It appeared the staff didn't have defined roles and got confusing as the night went on. When the main came out, our rice and naan was brought out and by the time the curry arrived they were cold. Not the best experience. After I paid the bill there were 2 more couples waiting to come on who clearly had not be greeted and acknowledged. Sorry. Wont be back.

What a nice surprise this restaurant. We came craving for some Thai food and were surprised with the kind staff, quick attention, and, above all, the nice flavors of their dishes. The barramundi curri is a must, the garlic Naan is right to deep in this creamy curry and the pad Thai is so delicious . We'll definitely come back for more!!

The reviews here are 100% true. Got takeaway with EatClub voucher, which made the meal terrific value. Hostess was very friendly and food was already waiting for me when I arrived. Best massaman curry I tried in Brisbane, no joke - extremely flavorful and full of big chunks of beef which were fall-apart tender. Char siu pork salad was like an orgasm in my mouth - very well combined various fresh ingredients with different gradients of texture and flavor complimented by delicious dressing. The owner also threw in two free bottles of kombucha, which I haven’t tried yet. Will definitely be back many more times to try the entire menu! Might dine in next time though to enjoy the service and ambiance.

Stopped in for a cheeky weekday lunch with the hubs. We ordered the margarita pizza with extra basil and the duck ragu which was highly recommended by friends. I have to say, the food did not disappoint! The pizza wasn't overly heavy and the ragu was creamy and delicious. The only downside was all the construction happening outside but hopefully that will be finished soon. We will be back!

I love prawn so much, that's why prawn something is always my first choice on a new menu. There were another two parts of this pizza amazed me, except my favorite prawns. First, the crust was thin but so chewy that keeps everything in your mouth longer, then you could taste them more in the detail. The umami and chewy but not tough prawns danced in your mouth, sweet and sour cherry tomatoes refreshed your taste. And then also the second point, I had no idea how delicious rocket was before this try. It riched the pizza and tasted earth flavour. You know what I saw? I was fishing with refreshing juice on a sunny afternnon just finished rainning, the smell of air was fresh and earthy, prawns kept jumping up and down on the ocean. I was so satisfied, so was my stomach with one by one piece of so tasty pizza.

Waiter was a little pushy to start but polite still. Mains served were incorrect and waiter gave flimsy excuse saying an old menu must have been mixed up with the new ones. We had ten people on our table and we all had the same menu. If the menu, or in our case menus were wrong the waiter should have picked this up when we ordered. In total 4 pasta dishes were incorrect. I had the gold banded snapper special and it was not as described on the menu. All up the food was delicious and filling but the service let the place down. Honesty is always the best policy and when people try to cover up mistakes it leads to reviews like this one. Hope they do better with service coming out of Covid or they will go under pretty quickly. We might try them again if they are around in 12 months time.

A shout out to Alex for making us feel so welcome. Great indoor and outdoor seating options. Definitely a gem within Fish Lane.

Highly recommending Pappardelle al Ragù d'Anatra pasta. Truly the best pasta in town! Will definitely come back again! The pizza was a bit too salty, but 5+ star for its pasta

Well !....We just enjoyed THE most delightful meal we have had in ages! Every dish. Satay chicken (soft and succulent) Dim Sims (yummo) Soft, flaky fabulous naan...(OMG) Butter Chicken (Indian hot) ...lipsmackinglygood. Red Duck curry.... I skipped the rice and scooped it with my spoon. I really look forward to restaurants resuming authentic, good quality food and service like this establishment does. Thank you so much Stone and Copper - we very much look forward to returning. 🙌☺️

The place is surprisingly classy and staff are efficient and professional. The food was divine! A mixture of spices and herbs that delight the palate. I have dined at some of the best and this is up there with the best. 10 out of 10.

It’s just the BEST Butter Chicken you will ever have! I have tried many other places and none of them compares to this. It is my favourite by far. Please never change the recipe. Great costumer service as well.

Dined here a few times now and always the quality of the food has been very good plus friendly service. Like the way it's a combination of Indian and Thai food, so quite a few options to cover most tastes. The shared tasting plate is a good option if you want to try a few different starters, we especially enjoy the Onion Bhaji's here. For main, we find the Beef Rendang is very tasty, meat melts in your mouth and the sauce works well. The bread is also very good here, especially the Garlic Naan.

Beyond impressed with everything. Service was perfect, Ethan was extremely friendly and made the menu easy to navigate while also making us feel valued. The menu is not complicated, and includes enough variety to please everyone. We had the bahjis and dim sims for starters, the mint chili sauce for the bahjis was divine and the dim sims were, in a word, perfection. We ate them so fast, I forgot to take a photo! Our main dishes, offered us by far the most flavoursome duck curry I have ever eaten. The Thai fried rice with chicken was also extremely delicious. The meal sizes were also very generous. Two delightful cocktails rounded out a perfect dining experience. We will surely be returning to Stone and Copper soon, and will make sure to bring friends and family. 10/10 can and will recommend to anyone looking for genuinely authentic Thai, Malaysian, or Indian cuisine. Thank you! Edit: 29th October. Still as perfect as ever, everything above still applies. Sad to see it's more quiet on a Saturday, but that means more available tables. Definitely the place to go before a night out. Cannot recommend higher. Xanta was our server tonight "like santa but with and X" bubbly and efficiently remembered the whole order flawlessly. Sadly forgot to take photos tonight but trust me it looks as good as it tastes. Thankyou Stone and Copper see you again soon.

Everything we had was amazing though I was not a huge fan of the chicken satay. The butter chicken is the best I've had in Brisbane and the beef rendang was superb. Customer service was great and it was a relaxed atmosphere where we could talk and hear each other which was very welcomed. Thank you Stone and Copper. I will definitely be back.

I recently visited “Stone $ Copper” restaurant and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with beautiful decor and comfortable seating. The menu offered a wide variety of options… The service was top-notch as well. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, ensuring that our dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. She made great recommendations. Overall, I highly recommend "Stone & Copper" to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a welcoming environment. I can't wait to visit again!

There was nowhere to dine on Valentines Day at 8.30pm due to kitchens closing or being fully booked, but stone and corner welcomed us even though the kitchen closed 15 min after we arrived. The staff were super friendly, the food came out super fast, and the food was delicious, as were the cocktails. Prices are very reasonable here, and portions are excellent value. The garlic naan is to die for. It was so fluffy and moist and delicious!! The butter chicken was delicious, with a really good portion of chicken, unlike some places where you get 5 pieces of chicken in the bowl. The eggplant was also very nice but was pretty tomato paste based. We had enough food that we have two small portions to enjoy for tomorrow lunch. We live nearby, and we will definitely be back. Awesome thing about this place is they have a mix of Asian food. Thai, Malaysian and Indian.

I recently visited this restaurant, a place I’ve often noticed on my drives. It boasts a charming ambiance and was pleasantly bustling on a Friday night. The service was commendable - attentive and efficient. I particularly appreciated the bar’s flexibility in creating drinks beyond the menu, a refreshing approach. The restaurant’s pricing is somewhat premium, which reflects the general trend of rising costs in the dining industry. Regarding the aesthetics of the food, the presentation was visually appealing for the vegetarian options. However, the vegetarian curry, didn’t quite meet my expectations in flavor. It was very heavy on the spices and the kofta was not soft and pillowy. The most positive thing I can say was that it was mild as per my request. One of my dining companions opted for the meat curry and had mixed feelings about it. Given the late hour, we weren’t keen on seeking another restaurant in Brisbane, where most kitchens close by 9 pm lol From across the table, I noticed the curry’s strong aroma, which was somewhat overpowering, and a bit on the nose. For my next visit, I plan to inquire more about the curry options to make a choice that better suits my palate. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant and look forward to dining here again to explore more of their offerings.
