The Lady at Reception at The Blue Lagoon Resort recommended Billy Tea so we went with I & glad we did. Our Tour was on the 29/12/2021 & thoroughly enjoyed the day. Our Pick up was at the Trinity Beach Bus stop & the pick up was on time ( if not early which was even better) Our tour operator for the day was Himani ( apologies if that is spelt wrong) Before we could even get on the truck, Covid check in with Vaccine Certificate was verified & Mandatory. Off we headed towards the Daintree Rain Forest. Along the way, Himani gave us very informative & knowledgeable of the region. Our first stop was Mossman for a toilet break & a chance to buy some snacks. From there we headed to the Daintree river ferry. Whilst waiting for the ferry, we were able to get out & have a look at around. Over the river we went & headed to our first stop. Now due to the heavy rainfall occurring ( over 60mm in about 3 hours), Himani explained that some of our activities maybe modified or may not be able to happen due to it. Third stop was the Rain Forest walk. A tad wet but by no means was the information or this aspect of the tour reduced. Himani knows here stuff & we definitely left the area with more knowledge than we arrived with about the rain forest. The scenery & diversity of the fauna & animals. Back on the truck & then we headed to the next part of the tour which was the Bloomfield Track & Emmergen Creek. It was a bit wet for a swim so I just had a bit of a walk in the creek but if it had a bit warmer & not raining it would have been an awesome place for a swim. It's a crocodile safe area so no worries swimming. From there it was back down the Bloomfield track to Cape Tribulation look out & beach. A great place to see the beach & point. Lunch was at "The Beach House" & I had steak & my partner had Battered Spanish Mackerel. Both meals were very nice. As it was a Bit of a walk from the car park to the Restaurant, Himani said there was a golf buggy back to the car park & i got that for my Partner. Himani's consideration for her clients is second to none. From lunch we went to the ice cream place which was awesome. many different flavours available & very nice. Last stop on the tour was the Daintree River Cruise. A great way to end the day.Our boat operator new his stuff about the river & his knowledge of it got us to see two Crocs. Stopped off at the look out for Double Island. We were back at Trinity Beach by 5pm. It was an awesome day. Thank you!!!!!

A fantastic day out with our tour guide Matthew, who picked us up from our accommodation and commentated the whole trip. Carried interesting information about the local area and beaches, jokes were good and made the whole family chuckle, not just the adults! The river trip was fun where we spotted a couple of wild crocs in the mangroves. Matthew had great knowledge and when in the Daintree his interest in the botanicals was infectious, telling us stories about how the indigenous people would have used these plants to their advantage etc and the history behind the forest and all the stories that came with the first settlers arriving. Lunch was tasty at Cape Trib Beach house, watch out for the spiders!! Great to swim in the creek And ice cream was lovely on the way home... and bonus points for having a large VEGAN selection. Would recommend and would do the same trip again!

We had an amazing trip! We did the two day Daintree Rainforest and Great Barrier Reef tour. Our guide for the Rainforest tour was Andy. He was awesome! You could tell that he is very passionate about the history of the region and how fragile the ecosystem is. We enjoyed learning about how unique this area is. We also saw 4 cassowaries in the wild and 1 crocodile! We also enjoyed the small group size.

An interesting tour despite the bad weather. We thought we would go to Cape Tribulation but the announcement was not clear!!! It is written on the site that there are changes, which ones? The guide Daniel didn't give us much time to go to the toilet.

Had a great day out. Our tour guide Mitch, even though fairly new in the company , had a great knowledge of the area and explained all interesting areas clearly. Saw a few crocodiles on the river cruise part. Great lunch at cape tribulation and finishing off with an ice cream was nice. Highly recommend tour for a great day out.

Went on the Daintree / Cape Tribulation day trip, excellent day - Graeme, our driver was very personable and knowledgeable. Saw some wild Casawaries at Cape Trib and crocs on the Daintree up close as well as some beautiful native rainforest scenery. Definitely a day we'll spent and highly recommended

We had the absolute best day! Matt was an excellent guide with heaps of knowledge of the areas visited and a great sense of humour which made the day so enjoyable. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone from either Australia or overseas.

Came to Australia from the US for our honeymoon and we booked the Daintree Cape Tribulation. Just went on the tour today 10/14/23 and had so much fun. Went down the river and saw a crocodile swimming and that’s how you get to the Daintree area. We enjoyed getting to know our guide and all the people on the bus with us. Our guide was so informative and fun! Swimming in the water hole was a plus at the end. It’s a beautiful place.

We went in the day trip to the Daintree and Cape Tribulation yesterday. We had an awesome day! Our guide/driver’s name was Daniel. His knowledge of historical and local facts was amazing. He gave us just enough information without ear bashing us the whole day. The weather was perfect as well. The day was well planned and food at all venues yummy. We met some really nice people from all around the world, so conversations were plenty. Thank you Billy Tea Safaris 😀

Amazing the guides are exceptional and add a real personal touch. Their knowledge is excellent and write astonishing really. My family and I found the trip engaging, thought provoking, exciting and educational from start to finish. I cannot recommend this enough a diggings must for any traveller to these parts. Made better by the people who run it. The 4WD bus is great and comfy, lunch was awesome. Wildlife on display breathtaking.

I highly recommend going with Billy Tea Safaris! My partner and I did a day trip up to the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation and it was the perfect day! We saw juvenile crocodiles on the boat tour of the Daintree river, and were lucky enough to see a wild cassowary as well! The provided lunch was delicious and the weather was perfect on the day so that was a bonus. Our tour guide Yannick was absolutely incredible. He knew so much about the area from the cultural history to all the flora and fauna. Yannick was definitely passionate about showing tourists the Daintree so it was such an incredible experience seeing such beautiful places with someone who had so many interesting facts and information to tell us. The bus ride wasn't boring either! Yannick kept us informed about all the flora and fauna we saw along the way, as well as important cultural information about the traditional custodians of the land - the Kuku Yalanji people. We ended the day with a delicious stop at the Daintree Ice Cream company. I highly recommend the wattleseed ice cream! I would definitely recommend Billy Tea Safaris to anyone - this was a big day but it was a great day of learning and exploring the most beautiful place in Australia. I highly recommend going with Billy Tea!

Wow what a day! From the convenient pick up and drop off service, the spectacular wildlife and our informative and fun guide Gavin, the day was perfect in every way. The day was so well structured that we seemed to fit a lot in without seeming rushed. Some highlights for me being the refreshing swim in Emmagen Creek, my delicious vegan lunch ( yes they cater for us herbivores!), seeing a crocodile and cassowary bird, the scenery all the way and the yummy ice-cream stop on the journey back. Best ice-cream I've ever had! And yes they had vegan ice-cream too! Thanks Gaven for a wonderful day......your passion for the environment and love of what you do made our day even more wonderful! Oh and thanks for the music playlist on the journey home....it suited the theme of the tour! Kellie & Janice

What a day!!!! This tour was amazing, it was well worth the trip. Our tour guide was great and gave us so much information about the area, we learnt so much that we didn't expect. I can't remember his name but it started with a Y, he made the tour great. We got to go to a lot of great places and the swim topped the day

Great value trip, very worthwhile. Cape Tribulation is great! Definitely bring some decent mosquito repellent. Our guide Matt was very knowledgeable, could answer any questions thrown at him, also very funny.

Had an amazing trip, our tour guide Gavin was very passionate about nature and loved explaining and educating everyone on everything. Was a very enjoyable trip and it made the 12 hours feel too short.

I had the opportunity to experience Billy Tea Safaris part of another tour package. The driver was punctual, warm and friendly, was a great guide sharing lot of insights beyond what was part of the tour as well. Nev, the driver did play the role of guide, friend and a mom ensuring everyone are fed on time and satisfactorily. 5 star for Neville (Nev).

We absolutely loved this tour, tour guide Neville was great. It was about the only one would take our two kids under 5 and went the furthest onto Bloomfield track for freshwater creek swim,l. They provided a car seat for our 2 year old which was perfect. The tour was fun and beautiful, kept moving at a good pace to entertain the kids and was structured really well. Lunch was included and we loved the swim in Emmagen Ck and river cruise.
