The expectations were not matching at all the reality. This place only have good the nature, all the rest is awful. The house is decadent, not cared, old furniture, it seems second hand, the quality of all the items of the house was extremely poor, disgusting to wear even. The quality of the house cleaning service was bad in all the terms: actual cleaning not done properly at all, and the schedule not respected by the cleaners. The service desk or reception was really bad too on dealing with clients, specially in the lack of education and customer service basic rules. Picking the phone only after 20 or 30 minutes… solving an issue: ages!! The infrastructure is not existing almost, only a small shop with very basics, only 1 tiny restaurant which offers the same of the same, personnel not trained, the comfort in the restaurant was none too. And of ECO is again only the magnificent nature cause to do whatever you need a car… the resort is not at all self sufficient to serve the clients. I could continue with more frustrations of this holidays experience, like the lack of beach equipment like chairs, umbrellas, … in the beach for the clients of the resort, the awful bedsheets, the poor internet connection, the lack of comfort in the overall. Will never come back and will advise friends and family not to try!

Peaceful resort with amazing beach! I've stayed in a 3 bedroom villa with private pool and all family loved it.

I have not yet stayed in the hotel. I already wanted to tell how frustrated my experience with the Pestrana Troia resort is so far. I engaged in a discussion on availability and price and quickly never had any answers at all for no obvious reasons. Sent three chasers and had to call twice in 10 days to finally have the fair and a straight forward « no » to my question (not so special demand at all). No kind excuses over the phone neither in the email I received, it was basically my fault, I should have probably waited another month while my flight tickets were already booked. Definitely not the best experience of my life, I was expecting much much more from such a resort. Hopefully the stay will be much better.

We had a wonderful and peaceful stay at the resort. Our room was beautiful, well kept, quiet, and comfortable. We loved how quiet everything was - you basically have the beach and pool to yourself and each condo has it's own private pool. It felt very exclusive! We also loved the Moana beach bar - staff was friendly and fun. We didn't stay long enough to utilize, but they have tennis courts, an awesome larger shared pool, soccer field, great biking/walking path, and lots of other activities for adults and kids alike. A few things that we would have liked to know ahead of time: bring all of your own groceries and coffee. They have great kitchen tools in the condos, but there is absolutely nothing as far as coffee or tea goes, and it's not easy (must drive) to get any snacks or food. Also recommend bringing your own beach towels. They only have shower towels. I highly recommend going into Comporta for dinner at least once. It was a charming little city and great food. Would absolutely recommend this place to stay though for a long weekend.

Stayed here 2 years ago and I still think of the estate every now and then. Beautiful surroundings and good architecture (some finishings are bit questionable but still far better than most large resorts). Do yourself a favor and go out on the beach for the sunset. It will blow your mind

The rooms were overpriced compared to a 4 star hotel as it appears to be (it has to be notified that this is not an hotel but a residence for families). Bad quality food. Children shouting everywhere won’t let you relax for a moment! The beach is nice and is the only thing I save of this place.

Very nice resort but make sure you are aware what you are booking. - Infrastructure is very limited: just a small shop near the reception ( opens at 9am ) for bread. So: Sorry Early birds! Sauna was out of service during our stay. - Beaches: A dream!

Very nice relaxing compound resort, eco village, everyone is very friendly, easy access, very safe for kids, we rented bikes and kids went all the time alone, very convenient.. yet nothing much to do .. 5min drive u can find a minimarket 30min drive to Alcacer do sol for a supermarket ( Lidl, intermarche and minipreço) Restaurants are a bit expensive and not too many around, so you need to get ur groceries with you to cook or drive to Intermarche, their barbecue chicken was excellent. The rooms were comfortable in the 3beds apartments, each en suite, tiny private pool, it was ok, the kids went to the social big pool also good.. no seats bear the beach, more further u can find private beach club. Moana restaurant is inside the eco village , very good view and food. We only did not have anyone for the Room/apartment cleaning .. so the apartment is a bit over priced.

One of the most awful experiences in my life. The room was full of ants, two of us had to sleep on the couches for two nights. One of the chairs broke because they were of bad quality (just by sittong on it). The lock to the door wasn’t working for over a day and we had to enter through the window. One of the handles was mounted upside down making it ipossible to close one of the rooms. Nonetheless we did complain but didn’t ask for a refund, three days later they asked us 90€ for the broken chair (which in my opinion was also dangerous for purselves). While complaining they treated us with no respect at all, the service in general is not what you expect from a 4 stars residence. Also important to add is that none of the employees spoke a word of english. I honestly warn anyone to go to this place. Total lack of profesionalism and respect towards their clients. Also we are thinking about suing the place. Be aware.

The location is one of the best paradises 1h distance from a European capital, where you can swim with dolphins and have the best seafood in Europe. The beach is disappearing year after year, so better enjoy this paradise while we have it. The hotel is eco friendly… still, this great brand Pestana should have a better organized staff. Cleaning is done 1x per week, checking & checkout luggage assistance is poor.

Wow!! We went here to visit a friend who has a house at the Echo resort. It was definitely worth the long trip from Lisbon. The beach was absolutely perfect and we could not find one piece of trash. Totally different from where I live in Los Angeles, California! Highly recommend it here. Hopefully you will also know someone who lives here to get invited.!! 👍🏻👍🏻 we went by public transportation from lisbon and took us about 90 minutes.

The problem we had here was that it was advertised and sold to us as a hotel room with four star facilities which it is not. It’s a family holiday village subletting private spaces with personal objects ( IKEA furniture, kids bikes ) at four star hotel prices. The beach is amazing but that’s pretty much the only good thing to remember.

Travel group: 2 adults and 2 children (1 and 3 years old) This is an absolute beautiful place. The villa was spacious with a very complete kitchen. It was very quite. The swimming pools are clean, the beach is amazing both on the property as nearby. Staff is also very friendly.
