I found lapcheong (Chinese Pork Sausage) in their Nasi Goreng Nenas, so i can say this restaurant doesn't serves halal food (NON HALAL). Their Penang Char Kwoay Teow was not as nice as before Covid-19 Pandemic, it just taste like flat rice cake with sweet soy sauce. Nasi Goreng Nenas has smoky hint which is nice, the Rendang Chicken is the winner here, i can say that it taste quite authentic. Roti prata was lacking the crunchiness, it taste like pancake. Tom yum was lacking the sourness but i can tolerate because this restaurant specialty are Malay food not Thai food. And also a petition to bring back the Nasi Lemak on the menu list.

They have good selection of Southeast Asian cuisine at a reasonable price Really good food. Love the creamy taste of Malayan Beef Curry with Potatoes, tender beef. The juicy and tasty Deep Fried Pandan Chicken is a must try. Nice and accommodating staff. Service could still be improved. Their A/C badly needs repair too.

Food is so delicious . Been to banana years ago and taste hasn’t changed. A bit pricier now than before but taste worth it 👌

Do not eat there food is awful. No standard. Nothing to do with malaysian or thai food. Never again. Salad swimimming inside the sauce. Roti canai uncooked. Worst food ever.

Oh boy I love Banana Leaf! The choices for food are great as always but the few times I've been here is just for quick lunch so I never got to enjoy and savor the food. However, all my experience here has been great. I highly recommend Hainanese Chicken if you haven't tried that yet. It's savory and tender and with the addition sauces on the side 😌👌perfect! 10/10 would come back for another time.

Plenty of food choices. Quality service. And good location. It's near the greenbelt cinemas.

South East Asia cuisine (Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, India, Vietnam, Indonesia). I am Indonesian, I order Nasi Lemak, Chiken Satay, and Vegetables Spring Rolls. The taste is not really authentic, but it’s still acceptable.

One of the best southeast Asian cuisine restaurant in the Metro. Each dish is packed with Asian spices and flavors. From appertizers, salad, main dishes, drinks and desserts, It's like a trip around Asia. Price is affordable. They'll provide a banana leaf where you'll eat your meal. I love how they sustained the banana leaf as plate over the years. My favorites in this place are Curry Chicken Wings, Pandan Chicken, Tilapia with Himalayan Cream Sauce, Pomelo Salad, Roti Canai, Penang Char Kway Teow, Beef Rendang, and all their rice! I've never eaten something I don't like here. 4 stars because when I recently visited the Greenbelt branch, their air-conditioning system is down. Good thing it's already breezy, so the al freso dining is just perfect.

Very bad food. Can’t believe they don’t know to how to cook roti canai or pad Thai. Matter of fact don’t know to cook

They specialize in south east Asian food! Love the chicken pandan and their roti and their fried rice. It gets quite busy during the weekends

I was excited to be eating Malaysian good again after leaving Singapore for 2 yrs. Unfortunately, banana leaf did not live to my expectations. I ordered 2 rotis and chicken potato curry. Both were chef recommendations on their menu. The roti was hard. I don’t know how it passed the restaurant’s standard. The chicken curry for me lacks magic. The spice is lacking. Maybe they tone it down to meet Filipino tastebuds. They don’t offer teh tarik which is weird. The restaurant vicinity is not bad. It’s clean and cooling inside. The staff were nice. The food made it a terrible experience.

We had a chicken curry but the chicken was uncooked. Then The appetizers was served last instead of giving us the starter first before main course.... And Pandan iced tea too sweet....Service is good just disappointed about food

Rice is not cooked well, we ordered for Thai tea and the crew gave us a pandan juice. Sad that the food quality isn't as good as before. Their AC is also not working. Pompano fish was good, green curry chicken is okay but the chicken is dry inside.

Writing a review after a long break and this is indeed a great way to start again. Went for a late dinner here and I was not disappointed. The Nasi Goreng was a winner and the grilled Squid was perfectly done too. Definitely recommended. The roti supreme was okay but a bit too pricey for what was offered. The black curry lamb could have been better, but that's my opinion. It was not a curry and it was deep fried lamb pieces with a thick and almost dry gravy. Too rich and heavy for my palate. I couldnt enjoy it as much as I wanted to. Apart from that we got a little serving of curry sauce which was good with the roti and the nasi goreng. The iced lemongrass and iced vietnamese coffee were just alright. We paid a little iver PHP1500. All and all a not so bad kinda experience. The service was a bit sluggish but it might have been so cuz of the closing time. Will I go there again? Maybe, for the Nasi Goreng and the Squid. Should you go there? Definitely deserves a try.

The resto requires customers to do contract tracing and they need to do temperature checks. There's enough seating for diners but makes seating limited. You can easily order take out as well. Food is still great. Service is quick and attentive. We'll definitely go back to dine here again.

I’ve been here a few times already. They served southeast asian foods which is so rich of spices and it really good. The service is standard, sometimes when is crowded we must to keep follow up our order. The ambiance is good also.

It's almost always a pleasure to dine here as the Penang-style char kway teow is delectably savoury and loaded with prawns, beansprouts, and fish cake. But the roti canai - rich, buttery, and served hot off the griddle - is the standout. Get a bowl of curry sauce to go with it; no regrets. Service can be a little slow especially if there are large groups dining in,but worth the wait.
