I don’t give out reviews. Half the time, most people won’t read them and the majority of the time it’s just a wasted effort so I just move on. However, to save even a single person from my experience would be worth the effort of this review. This service is horrendous. Their food that’s out, it’s dry. It’s cold. It’s like they’re serving awful food knowing people can’t possibly finish off their plate so they hit them with an unsuspecting “left over” charge. After living here for four months, and my fiancé and I traveling and enjoying a multitude of restaurants in the Metro Manila — this is hands down beyond one of the worst places I’ve ever had to endure. Disgusting food, terrible customer service and deceptive, too. We go to buffets from time to time, we know of the clean plate policy being pretty standard but here, there was no verbal notice nor was there even a sign indicating it.. Conveniently for them. To top this off, we mentioned it to staff and essentially received no response back. Terrible service. Terrible food. Hilariously enough, they will stuff the 400 pesos down your throat too, like their terrible food. Please. Save your money. Don’t give them the service. I never will again. Just go to Tong Yang on the ground floor. Significantly better staff — happier, more welcoming and warm in their effort to provide top notch service to its patrons. Not to mention superior food, two soup options and guess what? Unlimited beer, too. I’ve been to Tong Yang over 5 times now, and I’ve yet to leave feeling dissatisfied. I imagine anyone else will feel as I did, content with their food! Just.. avoid this place.

The price is quite affordable compared to other buffet restos, just be ready for a brawl when you want to dine here. You either lose your patience over the person ahead of you for dumping all the food on their plate OR you feel anger rising in you because the bestsellers on the buffet table are not quickly replenished. After tasting their fare you would think how much of your money (and time!) have gone to waste. Sadly, this place did not age too well

YUCKY MIX --- I'd give this place half a star if it was an option.. and that is simply because they serve sushi. Nothing worth coming back to in this place. It would seem like the staff had training on how exactly NOT to treat customers right! We were 16 in our group, and they had the gall to charge us P400 for leftover which would not have been the case if their cooking equipment was properly working. Very unsanitary too, no wonder they dont want cameras in their buffet table. This experience ruined my natural liking for sushi restos. Never again.

We said with the wife to try a new restaurant for today, Very bad experience except for the sushi nothing else was tasteful on the contrary, tasteless. Plus they charged us another 400 pesos because we left leftovers... The funny part is the prices outside didn't mention anything about it. Never again there. are better choices.

Its good and quite cheap rather than viking but it falls too short on menus that they can give unkike vikings, thats why its linda cheap. Good place to hangout with friends and good quality of food, so far i like this place. Recommended!

Totally disappointed, it was different from what we have before. Today, we decided to celebrate in Yakimix due to our previous experience of good quality of food and service, we didn't expect it to be degraded by its quality when it comes to their food and services. Before, the food was of the highest quality and freshness you can get and it will make you fall in love with it, but now, their cooked food, some are bland, some are tough to chew , some are soo salty, one dish is totally spoiled and is already giving a hint of foul odor but still they insisted that it wasn't and it is due to the mushrooms and still serve it, I've been cooking with mushroom for years and I know the food is spoiled because of it or not, some food that you need to cook is not fresh anymore and have a slimy texture but still being serve. The only enjoyable thing to eat there is the desserts. The staff also has an attitude, you tell them the problem discreetly but they'll just give you a fake smile and then when you turn back , they'll murmur something about you like you did a terrible crime against them, a typical Karen attitude, unfortunately for them that I saw them doing that. All in all, it fell from 5 stars to a negative 1 star in my opinion.

They keep raising their prices, but without improving their attitude. Sashimi was available for the first 2 guests, has not been refilled for more than 1 hour already. Same for the grilling shrimps. Only the name card, no shrimps. 700plus for lumpia and pancit is too much.

If I can give them a 0 star on this platform I will definitely do it. The staff and the food is horrible. We reach at 6pm and the food refilling is like 9-10pm. The staff look like they don’t give a care at assisting you nor refilling the food. Don’t even expect salmon sashimi or prawn cause is always unavailable based on everyone’s review here. Any other lousy restaurants will at least greet you good bye after the meal, here u can walk past 4 staff and non will even say a word thank you to you. I don’t even understand how did this restaurant survive.

Yakimix is open again for vaccinated people. Still has good food selection. The staff are super kind too. Update: March 2023 Food selection had diminishing, The sashimi section took time to refill, i had to wait for 10-15mins plus the items were a bit colder than chilled, the meat selection is just ok, the cooked foods also took time to refill, the tonkatsu was a bit salty for me and lastly the Italian meatballs were uncooked inside(demn)!!! Staff were as nice as ever. Hope they improve further.

Big place. If you like to grill meat, then this is the place for you. Not a lot of food choices compared to others but with their price it is still ok. Love their pork belly. I also like their DIY halohalo.

It's ok. A typical Yakimix resto. Like its other branches, there are plenty of foods to choose from.

Food taste ok but the prime selections like beef and sashimi are always out of stock. Its obvious that this is done on purpose, as there are numerous other reviews that cite the same problem. Then when you look at the other cheaper dishes such as fried rice and sweet n sour pork, they can always keep those low tier foods hot and replenished. Very obvious that they just want tpyou to get full on junk so that they can save money. Never going back to this place again.

Takes a long while to refill dishes, floors are sticky, some staff need a lot of training especially on courtesy. Right from the attendant who seats guests, the waiting staff and most of all the manager who thinks he can just shrug off customer complaints. Ventilation is poor. One of the staff admitted that they turn off AC units even while there are still guests, probably to make them leave earlier.

There's a variety of food choices though at that time, some were not my favorites. We availed the birthday promo, my son was surprised with the birthday song.

Good food, great ambiance. However, birthday treats are so noisy and disruptive for other customers and the staff did this several times when we were there.

Have been to other yakimix and this is the one that will make me not ever come back. Limited selection. Overcooked chicken feet. Over breaded crab sticks. Pineapples on yang chow. Then the chocolate mouss and. Cheese cake? 🤮 texture - marshmallow like. I hope they fix their food.

Still one of my fave buffets. Not too fancy. Dami selection. You get to have fun grilling meat. Helpful staff.

For the price per head, food selection not wide enough but most dishes are mediocre to quite good. Poor dessert choices. Tables are too crammy in layout. Place has poor noise control and everyone is almost shouting across tables to talk. Many birthday celebrants and raucous singing and shouting every now and then, quite disruptive unless you are a loud party goer yourself. Have some concerns about virus spreading easily within restaurant.

first and last time to dine at yakimix. def not worth the 800+ at all. place has buffet schedule and we hadn't done our research beforehand so were late, our fault. but is that reason enough for the staff to throw temper tantrums while clearing our table when we haven't finished eating? 🤷 they deserve some recognition for being consistent though because accompanying the nonexistent customer service is subpar food. most of the cooked food was served cold (minus food that are usually served cold), tofu was bland (how do you mess up tofu?) but what stood out the most was one deep fried chicken dish that had blood in it. also worth mentioning is the malfunctioning grill. we were told that some grills were busted but ours were not up to the task too as raw food took a long time to cook. the grill seems dirty like it hasn't been cleaned for weeks and they're just replacing the parchment paper 🤮 don't waste your time on this place. + 1 star for fried mantou (the only food that's appetizing)

That was a very nice experience. Though their shrimps are always running out a bit fast, but i think they can work that out, hopefully. But umm yeah, very nice experience we would love to come back. 💯

Not a lot of choices nowadays maybe because dining in is only restricted at 30% capacity. The tuna sashimi was not available during my visit and the replenishment of sushi and sashimi was not regularly done. Also, limited cooked and raw food for grilling. Service was okay even if the store was understaffed.

They serve delicious food, their staff is very accommodating and hospitable, the ambiance is nice and friendly. I will surely recommend it with my friends and family.

This yakimix has insufficient food choices compared to the other yakimix ive been. Halo2x station doesnt have purple icecream or atleast vanilla icecream. Food was boring.

This place had cockroachs running all over the food.When we told the staff pulled the food then later put it back when they didn't thinks we were looking. They should have put fresh food out and thrown that food away.

You can choose whatever you want from a lot of selections. Seafoods, meat, salad, dessert, drinks etc. Also, their smokeless grill is superb!

This buffet resto is recommended for the hungry tummy out there. Unlimited main dishes, desserts and drinks. You can cook your choice of meat as well. Although they have a limited varieties of cuisines, you can still enjoy the mouth watering dishes they offer. The ambiance is great as well.
