Stayed at Pearl Garden twice in 2019 during my Philippine holiday; early Jan (Standard Room on 5th floor) and again mid-Jan (Deluxe on 9th floor) before returning to Australia. The hotel has recently been undergoing renovations with stylish/sleek fitouts. The restaurant was recently closed for it's facelift and breakfast dining had been moved temporarily to the 10th floor which is pleasant and handy for guests. The reception is yet to be touched but is definitely on the cards. It didn't bother me as this indicates the hotel sees the guest comfort as it's utmost priority. I really enjoyed staying at the hotel. The aircon was modern and quiet and we found both rooms to be very clean and comfortable. The deluxe is markedly larger than the standard but both are well-sized for 2 people with large suitcases each. The hotel quality is definitely consistent. I really liked the fact that there was an in-room safe, something you'd generally find in higher star hotels. Located on a one-way street it is a short walk to Robinsons shopping centre and eateries i.e. the original Aristocrat, Café Adriatico and Casa Armas. However if you want to go to MOA, Manila Hotel or anywhere else for that matter, it's a convenient location and Security will assist with flagging a safe taxi for you. I give this hotel top marks for the price-point and rating. It's truly a gem. I definitely recommend it and would certainly stay here again if returning to manila and wanted a central stay.

I've been here for a week and am staying another week. I have stayed at the 5 Star Sheraton which is kitty corner away. The Sheraton is a high end Hotel in this district. The staff is attentive , courteous and helpful. The biggest difference I see is that Pearl Gardens lobby is not as grand. The staff here at Pearl is every bit as couteous and attentive. I appreciate that the rooms are much better appointed than I expected. I have seen reviews that the breakfast is cold. As breakfast is buffet style, I do expect some entrees would cool, however, the menu selection is good. I do recommend this property.

The hotel is brand new after a lot of renovation. The exterior and interior is super awesome much more than my expectation. It's not a low end hotel as you may think in Malate. It locates on a strategic location where you can get everything just in walking distance. Especially, I enjoyed breakfast there since before the renovation. The supervisor and staffs (even training worker) are very accommodating and make you super comfortable. A very nice hotel to recommend if you are near.

"Highly recommend Pearl Garden Hotel! From the moment we walked in we were greeted with warm and friendly service. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and make our stay comfortable. The rooms were spacious and clean with comfortable beds and modern amenities. The hotel's location was convenient with easy access to nearby attractions and transportation. We will definitely be staying at Pearl Garden Hotel again on our next visit to this city!"

It's a great hotel. The staff is good too. I honestly would say this is the best hotel to stay in because there is many stores and mally nearby, but it would be nice for the hotel to have more amenities and free clothing pressing services.

Spent March 31 to April 2nd here. Hotel is quiet and luxurious. Bit pricey. Hotel breakfast was not included; located on the 2nd floor, we were told it was owned by a different company. Breakfast was 500 per head and the serving selection was poor. Walking distance was Rizal Park with beautiful gardens, Ocean Park and nearby the hotel were several unique restaurants. Wifi worked well but the hotel had no pool or gym. Overall it was a going stay and would recommend it as a 3-Star Hotel.

Good room and equipments, cable TV, and electric kettle. The only problem is the free WIFI, the connection here is really slow, usually disconnects you from your connection. Better improve.

This hotel was a favorite before the pandemic. During the pandemic, they changed the interior and reopened. The overwhelming advantage over other similarly priced hotels is the quality of the beds and duvets. This is one of my top priority hotels to book when visiting the Malate area.

The refurbished rooms are good. A kettle is provided, but no cups and no tea or coffee supplied. The aircon in our room was noisy. The breakfast was cold.

Very nice hotel with excellent and helpful staff ..only downside was noise at night coming from busy street down below ,reason for 4 instead of 5 stars
