Big plaza, considered the center of town because of the activity and traffic. Many locals hanging out feeding the pidgeons, selling snacks, and tourists taking pictures. Definitely worth the visit with someone who knows the history.

This is the central square of La Paz. It is a wide open space, always busy and crowded with people. The traffic is heavy and the commerce non stop. It is the place where political protests gather. The basilica of San Francisco de Assisi is its most iconic building. It was built between the 16th and 17th century in Andean Baroque style.

Located in the historic center of La Paz, it's a beautiful building, surrounded by other cultural places and local traditional food. The city is really high above sea level, so take it slow, is difficult to do common stuff even walk and breath sometimes, so drink a lot of water and tea. @Aventure.dos

This seems to be the main plaza, there were lots of events going on here every day of our stay in La Paz. Food drink and souvenirs, you can find it all.

It's just a square with constant protesters, at least that is how it was the days I was there. But hey, there's free wifi if you get closer to the market right in front of it.

All tourism industry rises here. One of "Casco Viejo" most known and transited places of Old La Paz. Alongside museums, church and uphill street market leading you to mystic places like "Witches' Market"

besides de church building, there's not much to see, and it can get a little unsafe from the evening onwards

Many jobless people were wandering around, and some of them even kept saying some nonsense like “arigato” to travellers randomly. A bit disgusting.
