(Translated by Google) Except for the history behind the legend and mysticism, the place is a complete disappointment. The cost of admission to the Tiwanaku archaeological park is supremely high for what it can actually offer. The site is abandoned between vegetation and total neglect. It also offers nothing in sight. What the place historically offers, can be learned in books or online. I do not recommend visiting it. No recomiendo visitarlo.

(Translated by Google) It is an archaeological site of the Tiwanaku culture ... the door of the sun welcomes you to the Winter Soltice, where the rays of the year enter marking the beginning and celebration of the Aymara year. (Translated by Google) You can appreciate the ruins of the Incas, you need people to give a good maintenance and restoration to the place and all the structures since there is wear due to time and neglect, also make people aware of not throwing their garbage or prohibiting the I enter with backpacks and food, especially our own people who lack education.

(Translated by Google) It is fascinating to know that part of the history of humanity is in this mysterious area full of lithic constructions, which despite not being completely discovered, let us imagine an impossible civilization from millennia ago.

The ruins of this pyramid can only suggest the grandness it once used to have. It has seven platforms that were built at different times in history. It is 194m x 194m on the base and 15.7 m high. Only parts have been excavated and there is no new excavation in sight. In some areas you can still find the plaster that once covered it. Besides the amazing achievement that the ancient Tiwanakens display here, you have a beautiful view over the plains.

Maybe, one day, we will enjoy the whole glory of this place. Some locals told us they are uncovering (unearthing) the archaeological place, but others disagree and are disappointed about how the place is being administrated and researched.

Too expensive for no reconstruction work. The stones were just everywhere it was hard to imagine the glory it once had. The museum also had little and very poor translation of content in English. Therefore I wouldn’t recommend this place.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful place. Within the route to the entire archaeological complex, is one of the places where the journey begins. Climb to the top of a hill from where there is a beautiful view of the complex. All the way is signposted. It is interesting because under the visible construction there is another construction that is still being excavated. In the future, if you place lighting, a night tour would be spectacular. (Original) Bello lugar.

👍👍 Wish I could visit this site everyday. The energy here is spectacular! The stone work is out of this world. What an interesting, yet mysterious culture.
