Good location if you are looking for a viewpoint over the city of La Paz. However as a nature reserve it falls quiet short as it is quite small and a lot of things seemed to have dried out I hope they will be able to bring the place back to what it was. Also you have to be aware that you won't be able to buy anything there or go to the toilet at it is quiet remote.

Mostly protected area, although not very comfortable or accessible, no public transport

Nice place to have a picnic. Clean and nice scenery. Less than 10 minutes from San miguel. Only down part is no bathrooms on site, at least when we visited the place.

Great quite place for prayer and meditation early in the morning. Also great for picnics with family.
