Peace and love; these two words exactly define this place for me. I can't explain how freaking I love this place. Ask me why, I would say I don't know but trust me go to that place at late night and stand on the side and just stare, the fresh air hitting you face, the sky reflecting in the water and the bright moon, wow it's just beautiful. I had done many birthdays of my friends. Ask me about smell, I say, c'mon people built parks around these type of places and go for jog in early morning. One last word, it's the only place I love more in Hyderabad.

No proper place to stand and njoy the place. Completely occupied by the vendors. And smells bad. Usually fish sale happens there daily and Non Veg during weekend

Earlier this tank undisturbed and fully spread between Pragathi Nagar without any road over it. With progression of Pragathi Nagar Village, increasing traffic from almost JNTU to Bachupally via Pragathi Nagar as well as towards adjacent Nizampet via highways adjacent to JNTU as well as Bachupally village and internal roads between Pragathi Nagar and Nizampet a BT Road has been laid over the tank. Due to development of Pragathi Nagar and Nizampet villages sewarage load has been increasd over the tank. Now, after merging of Pragathi Nagar and Bachupally Villages into Nizampet and converting it into Nizampet Municipality the sewarage line has been separated from the tank, beautification and walking tracks are under construction. The works will be completed in near future.
