Definitely the best boutique shop & tea house I've ever been. It's a lovely place that sells products by artists from different Asian countries and has a variety of good tea and snacks unique to China & Japan. We couldn't stop ourselves from spending a long time here. Of course, we also took a mooncake and a tea break. I really liked everything! And the staff were so nice that you want to sit and chat for hours. If you happen to be in Uppsala, visit here!

Authentic, unique and sensational experience. There is too much to say about why this place is my favourite location in upsalla. I don’t believe it gets enough love as it should be. The atmosphere is calm, meditative and comforting. The staff are by far the nicest staff members I have ever talked to in a customer job and are so very knowledgable and good at their job. Even taking the time to explain ( in English ) tea ceremonies and how to brew my tea properly. The quality of tea is sensational and made for a very enjoyable experience. The quality and flavour of the food is not like any other “Asian” food I have eaten abroad before. The products being sold are unique and well curated. This experience is entirely authentic and it is clear that a lot of thought went into making this place so brilliant. This is a small business unlike any other.

Amazing place! You should really come and visit! It's an adventure to get to learn how to brew the tea itself. There is also a choice between Chinese and Japanese snacks. Like the traditional moon cake 🥮! Very exquisite!

It was a cafe that the owner opened with strong passion to tell the true culture, tradition, beauty of Chinese culture. The owner is really great. If you talk or ask questions to her, she will kindly answer and explain many things for you.

Best teahouse I've been to in Sweden by far. Great selections of teas that are well presented, the staff educates new guests about gong-fu brewing in an easy to understand educational style that makes it fun. The baked goods were also excellent. The presentation of the place, teaware especially was exquisite, with many beautiful sets of teaware. They also sell a well selected assortment of teaware, ceramics and other craft items, all of it looks well selected and high quality. A must visit for teaheads!

You can not find a place like this anywhere else it Sweden. Yocha Studio offers varieties of tea, from white tea to ripe puerh. Served with Chinese traditional tea wares and brew style: Gong fu cha (cha means tea). For “fika”, they have freshly homemade asian style dessert like moon cake (many flavours to choose from, my favourite is custard snow mooncake and matcha and red bean mooncake), mochi (the best mochi I ever tasted AND I have tasted a lot of mochis!) and nougat bars. If you love asian interior design, well they also sell a lot of gorgeous tea set, dishes, bowls etc. check it out on their website! My favourite drink from yocha: Golden yunnan bud organic tea pairs with custars mooncake. The tea is golden in colour when brewed, has sweet and earthy, sandy scent. When pairs with custard mooncake, the tea taste stands out even more, it got smoother and also taste and smell like honey. Another must try is their matcha latte (or why not try their ceremonial grade matcha in Koicha form?). Matcha latte from other café can’t even compared with Yocha’s - it’s simply the best matcha matcha latte in Sweden. Something I enjoy a lot is chatting with the staff, they are friendly, knowledgeable, calm and always welcome you with big smile. To sum it all up (if you are still reading this long review) - a must visit! Especially if you are a tea lover, don’t miss this place.

Not only was the service fantastic, but the food was also top notch. We had the lunch menu, that consisted of a variety of traditional chinese dishes. Loved all the products that were available for sale, as well. It's refreshing to see such a well-executed concept. An easy five-star recommend.

YOCHA studios was an absolutely unforgettable experience. The owner gave incredibly detailed and passionate instructions, you could really tell how much she cared about sharing the ritual of Kung Fu Tea with her customers. The tea was very delicious and the ceremony was very relaxing and very enjoyable. I will definitely be making the trip from Stockholm again to experience this place :)

Wow wow wow, wish I could go here regularly. I went two days in a row, once for sweets, once for the lunch menu. Surprisingly, my favorite thing was actually the cabbage salad.

Unique place for having tea and coffee. Very much recommended to visit. They have kind of exhibitions and then you can order your drink. Very much affordable price. You might have to wait while ordering and then again wait for your order to arrive. I believe when they are busy service are bit delayed.

Amazing place with a great variety of teas, sweet treats, and even ramen (all of egg were excellent). It's obvious they have paid a lot of attention to the aesthetics and functionality of even the small items in the cafe. Lovely folks working there as well. If I lived in Uppsala I'd come here all the time!

This tea shop is an absolutely delightful experience. A great selection of different teas, and the staff are wonderful. They came to the table and showed us how to brew each tea properly in the traditional manner. Will definitely visit again.

I absolutely love Yocha! The personnel there is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Whenever someone came to visit me in Uppsala I would always bring them to Yocha for the tea ceremony and the heavenly mochi cakes. Mochi are so soft and delicious they just melt in your mouth. They also offer a curated selection of items from China and Japan such as beautiful earrings and some ceramics. Now that I've moved out of Uppsala I miss Yocha.

We were so lucky to happen upon YOCHA when visiting Uppsala. It’s such a beautiful cafe with amazing food, desserts and tea. The service is amazing and they kindly walk you through each step and give information on each item if it’s your first time. The value is just incredible with such high quality items, I cannot recommend enough!

Wonderful café. They serve authentic and tasty tea and pastries. They demonstrate a gongfu tea ceremony and inform about the tea and culture surrounding it. The staff is really polite and friendly. They also sell really nice tea-related and east Asian products.
