Cozy place with good varieties of beer, although the food is a major downside. Food take ages to be served and when you eventually get your plate, hungry as a beast, the pizzas are worse than the frozen ones you buy at the grocery store. Burgers were cold and cheap, fries barely fried. Enjoy!

Second time visiting: Took 2h to get my lame hamburger. Will not return. First time: No music which was surprisingly relaxing and created a nive environment for good conversations. Food could've been better. A really nice assortment of beer.

As far as student pubs go, this is a nice one. Very good beer repertoire on tap, although they could use some more proper ales and less of the sour stuff. The service works on a voluntary basis so bare with them if you order take extra long time. The kids don't get paid. All in all a good place to grab a pint when in Linköping.

Great selection of beers which changes all the time. The burgers are really great aswell. What can I say, best student pub :)

Run by students for students, the staff works for free and is not professionally trained. This can sometimes mean a rather long wait for food and that the quality varies. The upside is that the prices can be low. So, if you want superb restaurant quality food you will have to go somewhere else and pay for it. But if you want a good selection of beers for an even better price, with the ability to have a non-professional made burger, then Villevalla is the place.

Love the ambiance. Pleasant and quiet enough to talk with friends or play boardgames while having a drink and a bite. The selection of drinks is very interesting. The villevalla hamburger was just ok to bland and it took a long waiting time. The fries were great though.

Great atmosphere and location near Linköping University. There is a great variety of beers, as well as some alternatives for non-beer drinkers. The constant changing of taps and numerous events at VilleValla pub means it gets the highest mark!

Cozy place though quite crowded by the bar when a lot of people are ordering. Food takes a while but it's a place for students and ran by students so it's understandable. Prices are really cheap for what u get. But you need to come with a student of the University or be one yourself.

Waited long enough for my food to nearly pass out from insulin reaction. When I told the bartender this I was rejected with a shrug and, “this is normal,” then watched him go to the back afterwards, which is the precise moment the cooks stopped twiddling their thumbs in the back. Will probably not come back, but hey, youngins enjoy, they have board games…?

Nice place for students. Delicious burgers and a lot of board games to play. Quite a unique experience in my opinion.

Awesome student-run place to grab some drinks, play some board games and relax with friends. Affordable and well located.

I was here with friends from linköping university. The bouncer was sitting inside a bit to the side, so I overlooked him at first because I couldn't tell that he was a bouncer, for which i got a negative attitude from him. Once I got in, the choice of the beer on the board was broad, unfortunately I didn't know the brands so I asked the barman for an advice, to which they helped me nicely. However they didn't state anywhere that they had only small beer, I only got to know that once I asked for it and got told that there's only small beer that day. The beer was average quality for average price, I would say I got exactly what I paid for, for my Czech standarts the foam was nonexistent but I'm aware that in Sweden the foam tradition is not as common. Overall experience 6/10 :)
