Fun bar with a weird and wonderful set of "rules". Enjoyed the wine and vodka, but felt the food was a bit gimmicky, and most dishes with smothered in really heavy mayonnaise. Still, there were some great courses involved in the menu and worth a visit for something different

I can not express my disappointment with this place, and I'll detail everything! I've heard a lot about Punk Royale, and it always intrigued me to visit. The price was super expensive, 1800kr per person with alcohol midweek and 2300kr per person on weekends. First, you need to provide credit card details during registration, and if you want to cancel, be prepared to pay 1000kr per person for cancellation within 3 days! And it doesn't matter the reason for the cancellation. When we arrived, our reservation was at 20:45, and they asked us not to be even 5 minutes late. We arrived 15 minutes early and waited in the cold for over 20 minutes outside in -7C until we were allowed to get in, and all the people were freezing. There were over 40 people outside, I believe. Then they divided us into two groups of guests, each entering a different room. The waitress comes to you, offering champagne/beer, which *surprise*, is not included in the high price we paid before. The waiter pushes you to order and if you say no she keep asking maybe 5 times until you say yes, and  btw even though you've paid for alcohol included in the price, she doesn't mention the small champagne glass costing 200kr!!! Besides the exorbitant price you're already paying. Everything feels chaotic at first. Some of the tables get more portions, some less, and the waitress forgets what she brought and to which table. we got much less food than the others. The music is extremely loud, the space is small, without ventilation, filled with smoke every few minutes that you can't even see the person who sitt in front of you. They bring you quantities of wine impossible to finish, and the portions are not impressive. My partner and I just wanted to leave and wait for this experience to end. We left very disappointed; it's truly a waste of money. If you're 18 years old and love loud music, noise, and chaos, you might like it. I am one day after this experience, my ears still hurt from the music, and I am still feel the cold of waiting outside so long until they let us in.

Awesome experience! When you get there, just go with it! Add whatever the host suggests, like the roe and vodka shot for starter, drink package and spin the wheel. There were 10 servings which all tasted amazing!

the best experience in Stockholm! if you wanna be impressed and entertained as well as, of course, tease your taste buds, then this is the place to go! even and especially if you’re a spoiled eater - there you‘ll experience mind-blowing combinations of tastes accompanied by unique serving. and yeah, don’t drink any alc before and maybe you don’t need any aperitif too, unless you wanna get wasted 😏

No phones!!! What a place. What an overall experience. These guys got it figured out. Waiters with no filter, personalised service, vodka & caviar - it just works. Top it off with luxurious cooking without being pretentious. Incredible flavours and a nice beverage pairing, which comes in adequate volumes for the vibe of the place. Go with the late seating ;)

So what can one say? Punk Royale is fizzing with inventive food and eccentric (or at least performative) staff. It’s certainly an experience but perhaps not as punk as it likes to think it is. The staff sell the dream as only a revolving door of 20 somethings can. They truly live in the moment which is Intoxicating, and yet no one could really pretend this madcap atmosphere could keep anyone working there for more than a few months. We are talking techno paired with caviar (et al) paired with plentiful wine and a smoke machine plus a few times being hand fed (seriously), all served faster than a bullet train. That’s not to say the food isn’t exceptional, it really is. Heavy on the fish but a fresh and surprising tasting menu. However, it whirls past so fast, I almost forgot to focus on what I was actually having. In some ways that’s ok, but I wonder given the almost £200 per person price tag whether finding the punk in taking time might not be so old fashioned after all…

There's a reason why there are so few pictures from Punk Royale and that is because they start the serving by locking away your phone. But don't let that scare you because what you will have coming is a memorable experience of excellent food served in a rapid pace with lots of surprises and provocative ways to serve and enjoy a dinner with drinks. Staff is super friendly and accomodating, but you should also let yourself relax and just trust the process. You'll never forget visiting Punk Royale, and there's no need to be afraid of it. Can't recommend it enough.

While I’m not a big fun of the punk-idea restaurant, I enjoyed it! Great food-drinks pairing, some great ideas on their dishes and a unique experience.

An extremely cool food experience at Punk Royale Cafe (10 courses). Fast paced and hard not to get caught up in the party vibe. It’s no molecular cuisine or anything but an odd mix of tastes that work well together, textures, sarcasm and punk. I’m probably saying all of this to reassure myself that it was worth the money. Vegan or allergic? - don’t bother.

Buy the ticket, take the ride! An absolute assault on the senses, be it audiovisual or gastronomic. I dare say that even if you've got a stick ** **** *** you can find this non traditional venue entertaining. If you like to live, laugh and love this place will blow your mind. Awesome food, awesome staff, awesome atmosphere, awesome everything Don't like fish? Don't worry, these guys and gals will make it edible even for hard core anti-fish people like myself

The food is unreal, every bite is divine. Loads of alcohol. A really memorable experience, I do think the music could be better as it is pretty loud. I’d like a bit more punk. Staff were great. If you are looking for an unmatched experience- this is the place.

A total unique place that must be experienced! Good food served in simple and creative ways. A place suitable for dining with friends, not colleagues.

An experience like no other. The food and drinks anyone would love. The service and music were perfect for someone who loves reminiscing on being a teenager in the 00s. Think Nirvana, Blink, Paramore et al. Incredible meal

Punk Royale does two seatings a night, and we signed up for the 6:00 meal—and, while the food entertainment was unique (along the lines of a 2 hour drinking game)—it feels rather odd to pay $800 for a meal only to get kicked out so the next seating can take over. I also think I might have gotten food poisoning from something in the kitchen as I spend the next few days rather sick—I don’t think it was just a hang over. I think the concept is good, but it’s a terrible value for the time spent.

An experience you must definitely try in your life! We had a really good time and laughed a lot. It’s a crazy ambiance and the food is really good. But be warned, there is a lot of alcohol flooding around, so you should definitely not come here with your car 😂

What a cool experience!!! Careful, the 20 courses of food comes with a lot of alcohol! Your phone gets locked away, which is a good thing. Hand over your phone and enjoy the experience.

It was a very unique experience, don't expect a normal restaurant, a lot of drinking and sea food involved

Punky feelings all throughout, loved it. I'd recommend you not to dig too much into what the experience entails, but simply accept it.

A fanstastic / fun dining experience like no other, truly unique. I will definitely go back for some more funky Punky fun. Great work Punk Royale team. Cheers to you!

Super fun experience. Definitely not for everyone (they will likely feed you from a spoon at some point), but if you want really good and different food with alcohol pairings in a fun, gritty alternative environment with a fantastic playlist, you should definitely go here! FYI you have to put your phones in a lockbox when you sit down, so no pictures!

Much can be said about this place, but in short, it’s the most fun dining experience I’ve ever had, prompting multiple return visits without ever being disappointed. It's a full-on culinary rollercoaster presenting the guest with the Punk Royale dilemma—go on an empty stomach and risk getting hammered from the drinks included in the package, or go on a pre-filled stomach to combat alcohol poisoning and suffer from filling up on all the food halfway through your sitting. It's not for the faint of heart, but overall, a fantastic adventure.

Had the most fun experience in here - went in around 8:30pm and came out around 12. For 3.5 hours food comes non stop. At least 4-5 rounds of drinks also plenty of good options for non alcoholic drinkers. Staff are fun and caring - I love what this place is doing, typically you go to a Michelin restaurant and come out feeling hungry, pay plenty of money for the environment, fancy silverware and service instead of food. This place is exactly opposite - we were so full and the food was amazing. Caviar, foie gra, lobster, beef tartar, plenty of oysters/fish/shrimp, full of creativity in the food presentation/taste/paring. The whole room was singing “dancing queen” towards the end. Wow, to say I’m amazed is a total under statement. Thank you for the most fun, world class dining experience ever!

I think I’ve never been to such a restaurant. The experience is unique and so is the food. Fine dining get a completely different meaning once you’ve been here. The staff is great and funny. I will for sure be back!
