A beautiful location which is a convenient ferry ride away from the centre. The rooms are spacious, but paying extra for the sea view also brings the noise of the car park, and early morning ride-on lawnmowers. Perfect in the evening, very imperfect in the morning. Our room. Had a broken toilet seat and mould growing on the bathroom door but good decor. The 'double bed' is two large singles with a double mattress topper. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. The food is good quality but the dining room is far too small for the number of guests staying and as a result you can wait a while for a table, which may just be a coffee table and so you eat from your lap. They send regular WhatsApp messages and then the replies to queries are not helpful. It's perfectly fine here but not the luxury that the award from 2015 touted on the website would imply.

This hotel is best for staycation~ they have a boat port right in front of their restaurant but can take around 5 minutes of walk to the bus stop. Breakfast buffet is consistent with the food options which is good ✨ I met a furry friend strolling along the garden. That alone makes me give the place a 💯 (I think the cat owns the hotel 😆)

Don't bother. Dangerous electrical wiring. Questionable construction methods, risk to young and old. Failed to provide the room I booked. When challenged, called security thus I asked for the police. Was told to leave after one night. Had to pay for my full stay, still have not received my refund. Exploited me in terms of correcting all the construction problems, did not even thank me. Absolutely, no sincerity. Typical of the Marriott Group. I prefer the Four Seasons, Madrid. Nonetheless, for excellent cuisine, try the HEE in Nuuk, Greenland...some of the best seafood and vegetarian food on the planet, given the remote location.

Nice location by the sea. Quite and secluded. Rooms okay but nothing special. We had a nice sea view. Breakfast was located a short walk away in another building. Nobody greeted us and all the staff seemed to be sleep walking. Nobody spoke or smiled the whole time we were there. We passed a member of staff stood at the door as we left and not as much as a smile, never mind a goodbye. It must have been a wild staff party the night before.

Stayed in room 258. From the reception, we had to take two different elevators to get to our room. The breakfast was served in a separate building. This may not be the best place for people with disabilities/strollers. Room: Spacious room. Ok bed. It was a bit cold in the room even though we had the temperature on max. Nice with a balcony. There was some view over the waters, but a lot of trees were in the way. The bathroom had heated floor which was nice. There was some tiny bugs in the bathroom. Byredo shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and hand wash. Noisy in the morning (9-11am) due to lawn mowers. Hotel: According to the description on their home page, they had sauna and a small pier for swimming. The problem is that, there are many big boats passing by - which stirs up the water, which is not great for swimming. They had lounge/bar at the reception instead of having minibar in the room. Not much on the menu. Service: The cleaning staff was very friendly and greeted every time passing by. Rest of the staff - not that friendly. Our receptionist and a lady at the breakfast had nonchalant attitude. Location: Very accessible from Stockholm City, using SL Pendelbåt from Nybroplan. A good place if you want to enjoy nature, but also want various cafés/restaurants/stores. Not a good place if you want to enjoy the nature and calm surroundings. Breakfast: All the typical breakfast items were available. They had ok quality, but nothing that stood out. The food was placed in a very small area - room for only few people at a time. The coffee was placed on a completly different place.

Visited from the US. Room was lovely. Staff were super helpful. Bar was great. Scenery and nearby hiking was wonderful. Daily breakfast was awesome. And proximity to a ferry into town was just amazing. Absolutely perfect. I hope I can go back someday.

Absolutely great place! A getaway from the hustle and bustle of Stockholm city yet so easy to go to and from the center. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable with all the amenities you need. Staff was accommodating. Especially loved the morning yoga with Tommi and the 200kr food voucher per guest which made the whole stay a great value!

Lovely location 30 mins boat ride from the centre. Beautiful historic buildings with modern rooms. Lovely sauna. We were lucky enough to get a room with full water view and we felt like we were on a ship (also due to the design). The shower products and linen are great quality. There are friendly and helpful staff always available. Breakfast was fresh and a wide selection. My two minor criticisms are that the sharing on the TV was broken, and there is no kettle in the room - when you're so relaxed you really can't be bothered to go downstairs to get hot drinks!

Beautiful place. We had a wonderful but unfortunately too short stay. We have to come back to enjoy the place and the view. Very nice and dutiful personal.

A lovely hotel in Nakka, based on being aboard a ship I think. Excellent breakfast, I have yet to try the dinner menu but I would expect it to be excellent. My singular gripe is that it's the only hotel I have ever stayed in which does not provide a kettle in the rooms (well mine at least). Collecting hot water from reception is all well and good midsummer, however it was -2 outside and a building away. Still, a great hotel.

Stayed here for a business conference recently. First thing! The view! Wow! Absolutely amazing location close to nearby amenities and one of the best burger food trucks in the world The hotel itself was cute, comfy but lacked modern day basics like a kettle in your room (yes you can get coffee downstairs but who wants to get dressed and go down for a coffee when you wake up) Also, lack of USB plugs made it inconvenient for modern times I’d definitely stay here again but only for the location

Wonderful place! Very clean and peaceful surrounding, exactly what you need for nice restful vacation or conference. Close to the urban area with markets and restaurants and next to the very nice long walking track on the shore. The food was great and the personnel very kind. We had company conference there and the guy who was responsible for the conference rooms and the equipment was very kind and helpful. In general no negative thing to say, I had great positive experience with everything there.

Lovely original hotel, nice for a walk far enough out to be calm, but good to get in with ferry and bus, super nice staff

Great hotel. The rooms were spacious and always super clean. The breakfast was amazing with a lot of fresh juice, fruit and pastries. Choices between scrambled eggs, hard boiled or soft boiled eggs. Multiple types of yoghurts, kefir etc. Gluten free and lactose free choices were available. Although it's a bit further away from the city, it was super convenient and only took about 15-20 minutes to get to Slussen where you can change to underground. About 15 minutes of walk there's a mall where you can go shopping, have a bite and buy groceries. Great place to stay if you want to get away from the city centre without being too far away from it.

Great hotel with good service. Location is great if you like a beautiful view. It is close to our office at Nacka Strand, which makes it easy for us to visit from abroad.

Everything is wonderful. Would perhaps recommend investing in a better irorn. €300 per night and there is 1 cheap iron for the whole hotel.

Very beautiful spot right not far from the center of Stockholm. My room was wow wow on The 5th floor with a view and a big terrass. The food was not in the same wow factor although. Nice staff and good service.

I didn't stay here but I live close by and come to enjoy the outdoor seating with bar and seaview - you see everything what comes and leaves Stockholm on water 💦🌊🙃. The staff is always nice and friendly, the place is super tidy and chill. If you come to Nacka Strand, enjoy yourself here as well!

Hotel J is located in a very scenic place. The Swedish Archipelago is nearby. There are regular take-offs to Stockholm, the tour lasts about 25 minutes. We enjoyed the comfort of the hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful, of course, competent. We will be very happy to come back.
